00:11The Ministry of Trade and Industry and the Singapore Business Federation say the country's trade practices comply with international standards.
00:20They have submitted a formal response to Washington.
00:25In its submission, Singapore says it maintains a strong stance against forced labour, backed by its existing regulatory system.
00:32It also said market indicators show no signs of excess capacity within Singapore's industrial property sector.
00:39Singapore is among several economies included in investigations launched in March by the U.S. Trade Representative's Office.
00:46The investigations examined alleged overcapacity in key sectors and assessed whether countries were adequately enforcing restrictions on imports associated with
