00:04Good morning everyone.
00:07Hope you are all rested and ready for this next leg of our trip.
00:13Happy to greet you all this morning after what I personally consider
00:18a very blessed trip and visit to Algeria.
00:24And I want to begin by expressing a word of gratitude to all the authorities in Algeria
00:31who made this visit possible.
00:39So it was a special blessing for me personally to return once again to Annaba yesterday
00:45but also to offer to the church and the world a vision that St. Augustine offers us
00:51in terms of that search for God and the struggle to build community,
00:56to seek for unity among all peoples and respect for all peoples in spite of the differences.
01:02So in two days in Algeria, I think we've really had a wonderful opportunity to,
01:07if you will, continue to build bridges to promote dialogue.
01:11I think the visit to the mosque was significant to say that although we have different beliefs,
01:19we have different ways of worshipping, we have different ways of living,
01:22we can live together in peace.
01:25And so I think that to promote that kind of image is something which the world needs to hear today
01:32and that together we can continue to offer in our witness as we continue on this Apostago voyage.
01:39Have a wonderful trip.
01:41Good to see you all.
01:42Thank you for your service once again.
