00:37and they had to be rescued oh no three big shirtless guys what kind of boat did they
00:44have the biggest boat did they have a crabbing boat not big enough was that i think i know why

01:37turned into a fight to stay alive being out there even just for about a minute you could already feel

02:56that boat down and you know it you know you did that thing went up one wave and came down

03:05just went right under the water three guys all over three bills and one tiny fishing easily over three

03:21one of you guys decides to do a news interview while i am in the car shirtless my nipples are

03:27he's shirtless too oh i know i know they're all sure i would be like can uh let us warm

03:34some shirts and then we'll talk and i started telling boys we're in trouble and uh it happened
03:42within seconds the waves just popped us over and we just capsized michael tells me they were about a
03:48quarter mile from shore and realized they were too far out for the size of the boat they were in
03:52yeah we were in a small john boat we should never have uh drifted that far out and by the
03:57time you
03:57know we realized i realized that we were too far out we just couldn't get back every time the waves
04:03waves were too much jack godsey heard the frantic calls for help while on shore and was one of the
04:08callers that called 911 i could see a guy waving a paddle so i called the sheriff's department or st
04:15clear shores police and they went out there and got him the rescue also triggering a response from
04:20a nearby coast guard helicopter and once the men were safe on land chopper seven was still high above
04:25and spotted the sheriff's marine division recovering that tiny boat i know i'm glad i was able to have
04:29my phone and get the coast guard out here to get us out of the water michael and his two

04:34and bryce say they're lucky to be alive after being in the chilly lake for over 15 minutes
04:38really they saved our lives while they had the proper safety gear on board they have a message for
04:43other voters who are heading out this season don't go too far out of the water and pay attention to
04:48how far you get out there in st claire shores peter maxwell seven news detroit so one of their
04:52brothers didn't speak not at all he's so upset yeah the one in the back he's wrapped in that he's
