00:00First of all, I will make a vlog.
00:38is it a signal that the U.M is fully engaged?
00:41It's a historic opportunity. We understand we're working against decades of history and complexities that have led us to this
00:47unique moment.
00:48And the opportunity here, I know some of you were shouting questions about ceasefires, this is a lot more than
00:53just about that.
00:53This is about bringing a permanent end to 20 or 30 years of Hezbollah's influence in this part of the
01:00world.
01:01And not just the damage it's inflicted on Israel, the damage it's inflicted on the Lebanese people.
01:06We have to remember the Lebanese people are victims of Hezbollah.
01:09The Lebanese people are victims of Iranian aggression.
01:12Okay, good afternoon.
01:16We are both united in liberating Lebanon from an occupation power dominated by Iran called Hezbollah.
01:26We talked about a number of things, and most importantly, the vision, the long-term vision,
01:32where there'll be a clearly delineated border between our countries,
01:36where the only reason we'll need to cross each other's territory will be in business suits to conduct business
01:43or in bathing suits to go on vacation.
01:45We made it very clear that the security of our civilians is not up for negotiation.
01:51That is understood by the government of Joseph Aoun.
01:56And I must say, this was a victory for sanity, for responsibility, and for peace.
02:04Because the head of Hezbollah warned the government of Lebanon yesterday not to participate in these talks.
02:11And the government of Joseph Aoun bravely said no to Hezbollah.
02:16This is the beginning of a very strong and fortified, consistent battle against Hezbollah.
02:25They are weakened, as they've never been, and together we'll continue to rid the threat of this Iranian proxy,
02:33which is so malign and so malignant in the region.
02:37And it's imperative that there's a complete delinkage between Lebanon and Iran.
02:44Iran is the malign influence in the region and around the world,
02:50and Hezbollah is their proxy next to Israel.
02:54It's like a front operation of Iran against Israel.
02:59And now is the opportunity to push them back because they're as weak as they've never been.
03:05When will you stop firing missiles at the Lebanese civilian infrastructure?
03:10I guess that's their question.
03:11I want to push back on your question.
03:14Israelis don't wake up in the morning and look to fire missiles across the border.
03:18The missiles are being fired at our civilians.
03:21That will be put a stop to.
03:23That has to be understood by anybody asking such a question.
03:26The Lebanese understand that.
03:27I hope the media will as well.
03:33One of the main obstacles for these peace talks is that actually the one party to the conflict,
03:41which is Hezbollah on the Lebanese side, is not included, of course, in the negotiation format.
03:49So these negotiations are between the state of Israel and the state of Lebanon,
03:57but the state of Lebanon itself, the present government,
04:00seems unable to finally tame Hezbollah and to rein in their influence in Lebanon.
04:18So these two parties and they are not included in Lebanon and to win them in the league.
04:19but the families are not allowed to have access to that.
04:19So they're asking for the people now who won't take it to the league.
04:19So the field of the building is a nation,
04:19which is an international community where we can around the region.
04:20Their people who have access to that they will have access to it.
04:20So if they're there to be a ton of them and not be!
04:20I'm therellying to the country that are the people at that time,
