Jeepney drivers show the e-fuel cards given by the Manila city government, on Wednesday, April 15. Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso rolled out P4.9 million in fuel assistance for over 1,000 drivers under the city’s Libreng Sakay program.

Each beneficiary is set to receive four P1,000 fuel cards, amounting to P4,000 per driver, as support for their daily operations. The aid coincides with ongoing transport disruptions, offering much-needed relief to drivers grappling with high fuel prices. (via Mark Balmores | MB)
