Commuters who usually rely on passenger jeepneys resort to tricycles amid a transport strike that left several routes without jeepney operations in Nagtahan, Manila on Tuesday, April 15.

Transport groups Manibela and PISTON staged a nationwide strike from April 15 to 17 in protest of rising fuel prices and other sectoral concerns. The disruption forced thousands of daily passengers to seek alternative modes of transport, resulting in longer travel times and higher fares. (via Mark Balmores | MB)
