00:24Hello, I'm Charlton Heston.
00:26I'd like to welcome you to a story about a man named Daniel,
00:32one of the most inspiring heroes in the Old Testament.
00:36Now, many of the heroes in the Bible are warriors,
00:39men like Joshua, Gideon, who lead great armies.
00:42Then there's Samson, who tends to fight alone.
00:45But not all the biblical heroes achieved their status by fighting.
00:50Some did so by quietly adhering to their faith,
00:53even under the threat of death.
00:55Daniel was just such a man.
00:58The story of Daniel begins when he was just a child.
01:02The great city of Jerusalem's been destroyed by the kingdom of Babylon,
01:05and the Israelites, Daniel among them,
01:08have been driven from their beloved homeland.
01:11Now, it's clear to all who see him
01:13that Daniel is a young man of great promise.
01:16So he's singled out by soldiers of the Babylonian army
01:20to be a servant in the court of King Nebuchadnezzar.
01:24Daniel thrives in this new environment,
01:26but not by embracing the customs of the Babylonians.
01:30He remains faithful to the God of Israel.
01:34The Lord, in turn, rewards Daniel with a valuable gift,
01:38the ability to interpret visions and dreams.
01:42This gift turns out to be especially useful
01:45when the king himself becomes troubled by a dream.
01:48None of the wise men in the king's court
01:50is able to interpret the vision,
01:52but Daniel steps forth and is able to do so easily.
01:56The king's impressed, but Daniel remains humble,
02:00telling him that it was really God
02:02who revealed the meaning of the dream.
02:04Nevertheless, the king honors Daniel
02:07by putting him in charge
02:08of all the other wise men of the court.
02:11In this role, Daniel continues to thrive,
02:14outlasting not only Nebuchadnezzar,
02:16but his successor, Belshazzar.
02:18Finally, Babylon itself falls to another kingdom,
02:22and a man named Darius ascends to the throne.
02:25When Daniel again demonstrates his ability
02:28to interpret signs from God, Darius takes notice,
02:32just as the Babylonians had,
02:34and appoints him to a position of great power.
02:38Now, even good men are sometimes corrupted by power,
02:42but Daniel resists all earthly temptation.
02:46Each day, he does his job diligently
02:48and then goes home to pray to God.
02:51This angers his fellow administrators
02:53who are constantly looking for ways
02:55to make their lives easier.
02:57So they decide to catch Daniel in a trap.
03:00They convince the king to sign a law
03:03prohibiting the worship of anyone
03:05other than the king himself.
03:08And they promptly have Daniel arrested
03:09for breaking this new rule.
03:12Darius immediately knows he's made a mistake,
03:16but he has no choice.
03:18After all, he must enforce his own laws
03:20or risk losing control of his subjects.
03:23So he agrees, however reluctantly,
03:25to send Daniel to the lion's den.
03:29Now, the Bible says nothing about what Daniel felt
03:33as he approached the lion's den.
03:35I imagine he was not without fear.
03:37He was human, after all.
03:39What is clear is that it was Daniel's faith
03:42which allowed him to remain strong
03:44as he entered the darkness of the cave.
03:46The triumph of faith over fear
03:49is, I think, the central lesson of this story.
03:53That's the reason the story
03:54continues to have meaning for us.
03:57Now, it's time to get ready for a journey
04:00back to ancient Babylon
04:01to witness the trials and triumphs of Daniel.
04:04I've asked my friend Simon to accompany you.
04:08I think you'll come to like him as much as I do.
04:10And I know you'll enjoy the adventure.
04:13Now, it's time for me to say goodbye,
04:16but I'll see you again soon.
04:18Until then, peace be with you.
04:42In the year 586 BC, King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon
04:47besieged the city of Jerusalem.
04:49The king's soldiers took many prisoners
04:52and looted the temple for treasure.
04:58This one's a nice piece.
05:02How long do we hide here?
05:04Until it's safe to run.
05:06My foot's asleep.
05:08Keep still, or they'll hear us.
05:10But my foot's all numb.
05:11I have to move.
05:16Who's there?
05:19I see you in there.
05:20Come out!
05:23No!
05:25No!
05:26Let me go!
05:27Help!
05:28Chill.
05:29The king will want this one.
05:31He wears fine royal robes.
05:33Let go!
05:35Help!
05:36The others are of no use to us.
05:38They're just peasants.
05:41Run along, children!
05:43Before we change our minds!
05:45Not without Daniel!
05:47Run!
05:50We're taking you to Babylon, royal child!
05:55No!
05:56No!
05:57No!
05:57Let me go!
05:58Help!
05:59Let me go!
06:10Soldiers stole young Daniel from the only home he knew.
06:14They brought him here to Babylon to serve the royal crew.
06:18He came of age in Babylon and grew up big and tall.
06:23See, Daniel was the only man who read the writing on the wall.
06:27Here in Babylon!
06:30So nice to visit, why not stay in Babylon?
06:34If you wanna leave, you better pray in Babylon.
06:39Just watch your step, don't misbehave in Babylon.
06:43Or you'll end up in the lion's cave.
06:46Yeah!
06:47Woo!
06:49This is Ishtar Gate, the entrance into the great walled city of Babylon.
06:54The king's soldiers brought Daniel and three of his friends here to be trained for service in the royal Babylonian
07:00court.
07:04Eat up, children.
07:12Even though Daniel was in a foreign land with different customs, he still struggled to follow the laws of Moses.
07:20You boys haven't touched your dinner.
07:22Come on, eat up!
07:24We can't.
07:25The king's food isn't good enough for you, Azariah?
07:29Teacher, we mean no offense.
07:31But we're Judean.
07:33It's against God's law to eat this food.
07:36But, Mishael, you must eat.
07:40We can live on vegetables and water.
07:42That's not enough to put meat on your bones.
07:44You'll be too weak to serve in the royal court.
07:48Feed us a diet of vegetables and water, like Hananiah says.
07:51And if we're weak with hunger after ten days, we'll eat the king's food.
07:56Very well, Daniel.
07:58Ten days.
08:05Daniel, I'm impressed.
08:08For ten days, you've eaten only vegetables and water, and you're still strong and healthy.
08:14God sustains us for following the laws of Moses, teacher.
08:19After Daniel completed his schooling, he served King Nebuchadnezzar's royal court.
08:25One day, the king had a disturbing dream that none of his wise men could interpret.
08:30Sire, this Judean says he can interpret your dream.
08:36What does a Judean boy know of dreams?
08:40God has given me the gift, sire.
08:43If you really have the gift, tell me what I dreamt.
08:47Yes, sire.
08:49Yes, sire.
08:49In your dream, you saw a magnificent statue of precious metals and feet of clay and iron appearing out of
08:56nowhere.
09:01Then, a large rock appeared from the sand and crushed the statue into dust.
09:16But the rock that struck the statue grew into a tremendous mountain and filled the whole earth.
09:24Incredible!
09:24You know my dream as though you dreamt it yourself.
09:29Now, what does it mean?
09:31God in heaven is revealing the future.
09:34He is telling you that no matter how powerful a human king is, one day your kingdom will be defeated
09:40and crushed like the statue.
09:42God is more powerful, and eventually his kingdom will fill the whole earth like the mountain.
09:49Are you sure, Daniel?
09:52God has revealed the meaning of your dream to me, sire.
09:56Surely then, your god must be the god of all gods.
10:01For advising me so well, Daniel, I am putting you in charge of all my wise men.
10:07As you wish, sire.
10:12For many years, Daniel served Nebuchadnezzar until a man named Belshazzar rose to power.
10:23Drink!
10:24Eat!
10:25Be merry!
10:27To King Belshazzar, our great leader!
10:31Be here!
10:37Servant!
10:38Yes, your majesty.
10:40Bring the gold cups from the temple of Jerusalem.
10:43We will drink from our greatest treasures.
10:47Yes, sire.
10:49But sire, those cups are sacred.
10:53Perhaps in Jerusalem.
10:55Here, they are spoils of conquest.
10:59And every day, Daniel prayed to see his holy land again.
11:04Lord, have mercy on all those taken from Jerusalem.
11:09One day, I hope, we will return to our holy land.
11:17To conquest!
11:20Yeah!
11:22And let's drink from the sacred cups of the temple of Jerusalem, in honor of the gods of gold, silver,
11:32iron, copper, and wood.
11:37That's about three days!
11:40Win!
11:41Way high!
11:45Wow!
11:49Aat?
11:50You all right?
11:51No!
11:53Yeah!
12:09Oh, did you see that?
12:11Bring me my wise man.
12:17Whoever tells me what it means will be richly rewarded.
12:24I'll disclose everything.
12:30We've, uh, never seen this language before, sire.
12:34And you call yourselves wise men?
12:37Give us a moment to confer, your majesty.
12:40We must tell him something to collect the reward.
12:43But what?
12:44Let's just tell him what he wants to hear. It's worked before.
12:48We've interpreted the message, sire.
12:52Go on.
12:54It's good news, your majesty. The message reads,
13:00Expand east into the lands rich in spices.
13:05Yes, yes, expand east.
13:07Expand east? Are you, are you sure?
13:12Positive, sire.
13:13If this is trickery to collect the reward, you'll be fed to the lions.
13:23Sire, we would never deceive you, oh great king.
13:30How do I know what you say is true?
13:36A Judean once advised King Nebuchadnezzar as a dream interpreter.
13:41I believe his name was Daniel.
13:43Oh? Bring him to me at once.
13:53How can I be of service, sire?
13:56My wise men tell me the writing on the wall says we should expand east.
14:02Do you agree?
14:11I believe the message is a warning, sire.
14:15Your father was a mighty king.
14:17But God took away his kingdom because he was also cruel and arrogant.
14:23The same fate awaits you if you do not change your way, sire.
14:30The message reads,
14:32Mene, Mene, Tekel, Ufarsin.
14:41It means the days of your regime are numbered.
14:45Babylon will be taken and divided between the Medes and Persians.
14:52Now that we know an attack is coming,
14:55we can prepare the army and defend Babylon against our enemies.
15:01Yes.
15:03Your wisdom has saved us, Daniel.
15:06Even the mightiest army cannot alter God's will, sire.
15:13We shall see, old man.
15:15But don't worry.
15:17You will be well rewarded for your services.
15:20I have no need for a reward, sire.
15:25But you, you deceived me to collect a reward
15:30that you clearly didn't deserve.
15:33But your majesty, I was, um...
15:37Now you will receive the reward you truly deserve.
15:42Guards!
15:43Feed this man to the lions!
15:45But you can't!
15:47Please!
15:48Please!
15:49I beg you!
16:02Is the lion's den a necessary punishment, sire?
16:07It's rather cruel, don't you think?
16:09I must make an example of that wise man for deceiving me!
16:17Besides, fear of the lion's den keeps my people in line.
16:23But there's still wickedness in Babylon, sire.
16:29What do you suggest, then?
16:31Perhaps the problem is that your people worship earthly possessions over God in heaven.
16:37You speak so highly of your God, Daniel.
16:40But where was he when you were torn from your homeland and brought here?
16:44Where was he then?
16:51No!
16:53No!
16:54No!
16:56I beg you!
16:59Bring em forward.
17:08it is time
17:21no please i beg you
17:36no
17:37no
17:38no
17:38no
18:06Oh, my God.
18:10Oh, my God.
18:41Stay back, I say.
18:43Stay back.
18:55As Babylon slept, the Persians and the Medes attacked.
19:07Oh, my God.
19:22Oh, my God.
19:23Oh, my God.
19:26Oh, my God.
19:39Sire, sire.
19:41We are under siege.
19:43What?
19:45Under siege.
19:46The palace, we are under siege
19:49Fetch my sword and shield
20:32Just as Daniel predicted, Belshazzar's kingdom was conquered
20:37And a mead named Darius assumed the throne
20:42Is this him?
20:45Yes, my lord Darius, this is king Belshazzar
20:50I am king of the Babylonians
20:54Unhand me
20:56Surrender or die
21:00Never
21:04And very well, kill him
21:20And here ends Babylonian rule
21:32We planned a surprise attack and yet you were prepared
21:37We were warned
21:38Have I a traitor in my ranks?
21:41No, it was a Judean named Daniel
21:47You knew we were planning to attack?
21:50It was God who warned us
21:54God?
21:55Perhaps if I show you
22:04And Daniel was the only one able to interpret this sign?
22:14Daniel, you can be of use to me
22:18How, my lord?
22:20As one of my administrators
22:26But my lord
22:29He's not one of us
22:31It's clear you're a man of wisdom and vision, Daniel
22:38You three will supervise the 120 governors I've assembled to rule over Babylon
22:44I expect order and honesty from my servants, Daniel
22:48A well-run regime is a powerful regime
22:52And I'll serve you to the best of my ability, sire
23:05Didn't I specifically say I wanted 75 pieces?
23:09There's only 50 here
23:11We're only required to give 50
23:13I've got to charge you a processing tax
23:16I'm putting you down for 35
23:18But hold on a minute
23:20I know I have it somewhere here
23:23I only measure 48
23:27I need two more
23:28Are you trying to steal from me?
23:31There are 50
23:34No, there are 48
23:36I gave you 50
23:38Count again
23:39Are you prepared to suffer the consequences if I am right?
23:43Send him to the lions!
23:49An honest mistake, my lord
23:53Well, let's hope it's the last
23:57Daniel
24:00Good work, Daniel
24:03Oh, thank you, sire
24:08He makes the rest of us look bad
24:11How does he finish so quickly?
24:13Better yet
24:13Where is he always running off to?
24:16Servant!
24:17Yes, my lord?
24:20Follow him
24:26And though he spent his days and nights
24:28Treading foreign sand
24:30Daniel dreamt that one day
24:33He'd return to his own land
24:35Well, you can hold my body
24:37But no man can keep my soul
24:39My faith will preserve me
24:41And keep my spirit whole
24:43Here in Babylon
24:45Babylon
24:46So nice to visit
24:47Why not stay in
24:49Babylon
24:50If you want to leave
24:52You're better praying
24:53Babylon
24:55Watch your step
24:56Don't misbehave in
24:58Babylon
24:58Or you'll end up in the lion's cave
25:02Bab, bab, Babylon
25:04Bab, bab, Babylon
25:06Bab, bab, Babylon
25:08Did it, did, did
25:21Oh, lord
25:21I know that we've sinned
25:23Against the laws of Moses
25:25And you have brought great destruction
25:27Upon Jerusalem
25:27Now hear the prayers
25:29Of your servant, O god
25:31Return us to your city
25:33I don't ask
25:34Because you are righteous
25:35But because you have great mercy
25:45What shady dealings
25:46Is our Daniel up to
25:48He only went to pray, my lords
25:53To Marduk at the temple
25:55No, in his own room
25:56To his own god
25:57Ah, yes
25:59He's a Judean
26:00They pray to that
26:02Invisible god of theirs
26:08You work harder and better
26:11Than the others
26:12You're honest, diligent
26:13And well-organized
26:15So, I'm making you
26:17My chief administrator
26:18Congratulations
26:20Thank you, sire
26:22I will do my best
26:24A toast
26:25To Daniel
26:29I cannot drink with you, sire
26:31Why?
26:33But this wine was blessed
26:34In offering to one of your gods
26:36Not mine
26:36Should I be insulted, Daniel?
26:39I mean no dishonor to you, my lord
26:41I'm only following
26:43Yes, I know, Daniel
26:45You're a religious man
26:46And I respect your convictions
26:48Just don't embarrass me
26:50In front of my court again, eh?
26:52To Daniel
26:58Sire, how can you overlook
27:00Such disrespect from a Judean?
27:02Daniel's earned the right
27:03To worship his own god
27:05But
27:06Enough
27:07Tomorrow
27:08You will all report to Daniel
27:18Your problem is lack of organization
27:21My system works fine
27:23Try it my way
27:27Each governor gets a separate sheet
27:30And each sheet is divided into three columns
27:35Your way will make more work for me
27:37At first, perhaps
27:38But in the long run
27:40You'll save time
27:41And you'll be better organized
27:44I must go
27:45To pray to your god
27:46I'll be back
27:53Daniel's methods will cut into our profits
27:57What do you suggest we do?
27:59We must prove Daniel is corrupt
28:01How?
28:03I don't know yet
28:04Let's see King Darius
28:05While Daniel prays
28:17What a beautiful smell
28:19What a beautiful day
28:26Yes, it is, sire
28:29And a very good one for you, too
28:32If I may add
28:33How's that?
28:35Your popularity has reached an all-time high
28:40The people love you
28:45Making Daniel chief administrator
28:47Was an excellent idea
28:49I'm glad you agree
28:51To the king
28:53To the king
28:58Hey, Daniel
29:00Have some boar?
29:06Enough
29:08Let's drink a toast to King Darius
29:10Our most exalted ruler
29:13To the king
29:14To Marduk
29:16Who has made us rich and powerful
29:18To Marduk
29:21Did you ever think you'd reach such a powerful position
29:24In a foreign land?
29:25No, sire
29:26But I'd trade it all to return to Judea
29:29You've grown old in Babylon
29:31Why leave now?
29:33It's my people's holy land
29:34Destroyed because we lost faith in God
29:42It is my deepest wish
29:43To one day
29:44See the temple of Jerusalem rebuilt
29:46I thought Nebuchadnezzar conquered your land
29:54It was God
29:55Who allowed the land to be conquered
29:57Well, we're glad you're among us, Daniel
30:00Whether Nebuchadnezzar
30:02So, God was responsible
30:21Shh, shh
30:25Wait out on the street
30:26If you should see Daniel
30:28Make this sound
30:34Give me the candle
30:44There's nothing here
30:46Not one piece of missing gold or silver
30:49Not even a missing onion
30:52What will we do?
30:56Quick, roll them up
30:58Come on, come on
31:00Where are you going?
31:02I can't see
31:22What will you do now?
31:28What do you say we make an arrangement?
31:31What kind of arrangement?
31:35You accidentally misplace my records
31:39And I'll pay you for the trouble
31:40No one has to know
31:42That's illegal
31:43Daniel, everyone makes deals on the sly
31:47Pay what you're required
31:50Or I'll report you for bribing an officer of King Darius Court
31:58Very well
32:09His books are in order
32:11And he won't take a bribe
32:12This Daniel is too honest
32:15No one's that honest
32:23What?
32:24What is it?
32:25Do you see what I see?
32:27No
32:29He's so devoted to that god of his
32:32He prays three times a day
32:34So
32:35That's his weakness
32:40My lord
32:41To be a truly great leader
32:44You must establish yourself above the gods and idols to whom we pray
32:52Above the gods
32:54Above even Marduk
32:55You are god on earth, my king
33:04God on earth
33:05I like the sound of that
33:07How do we make it happen?
33:10I happen to have a law waiting for your seal, sire
33:15For the next thirty days
33:17Anyone who prays to anything
33:20Or anyone but you
33:22Will suffer the lion's den
33:24Let me see that
33:30During the next thirty days
33:32Is all those found violating this decree
33:34Shall be sentenced to death by the lions
33:37By the power vested in me as the almighty ruler of Babylon
33:42I hereby set this into law
33:45With my royal seal
33:50Make it slow
33:51Most exalted one
33:55It's good to be the king
34:03I hereby set this into law
34:06With my royal seal
34:08That is all
34:15What should we do, Daniel?
34:17Azariah
34:18We keep our faith in God
34:20He will protect us
34:21You mean keep praying
34:22And if we're caught
34:24Go to the lion's den?
34:25Have some faith, Ananiah
34:42Could it be, Lord
34:44That you don't mean for me
34:45To ever return to Judea?
34:48Are you testing my faith
34:50With this new law?
35:02Daniel won't risk the lion's den
35:05He's not stupid
35:06He obeys his God
35:08Above all other laws
35:11Look
35:15We've got him
35:34The king's seal has barely dried
35:36And you've already defied his law
35:38I had an idea
35:40You two were behind this
35:42You made your choice
35:43You chose your God
35:45Over your king
35:47Are you prepared
35:48To come quietly
35:49Or will we take you by force?
35:51As you wish
35:53You do understand
35:55What's in store for you?
35:57Yes
36:05Daniel!
36:06Daniel!
36:06What happened?
36:07Don't you children worry
36:19Sire
36:19It's my sad duty
36:22To inform you
36:23That someone
36:24Has already defied
36:25The new decree
36:27What?
36:28We'll make an example
36:30Of him right away
36:36Bring him to me immediately
36:47Where is this defiant one?
36:50Here
36:54Where?
36:56Here
36:56It is Daniel
36:59Is this some sort of joke?
37:02No
37:03Sire
37:03Daniel is my chief administrator
37:06He's still not
37:07No one is above the law
37:08You yourself made this clear
37:10When you put your seal
37:11On the decree
37:12There must be some loophole
37:14Get me my legal advisor
37:17Sire
37:18If you make an exception of Daniel
37:20The law means nothing
37:21I don't care
37:23Leave me
37:23Now
37:28Daniel
37:28Don't worry
37:29I'll get you out of this
37:30I'll see to your safety
37:32There is no need, sire
37:34My god
37:35Will protect me
37:40My lord
37:41Is this your wish
37:42To send me to my death?
37:47Sire
37:48There isn't one precedent
37:50In either Persian or Mead law
37:53That will allow a pardon
37:54For Daniel
37:57Forgive me, Daniel
37:59Vanity and greed
38:01Compelled me to make this
38:02Foolish law in the first place
38:04Now
38:05There's nothing I can do
38:07To save you
38:08I understand
38:10You've done all you can, sire
38:11Do not fear
38:13My god will see to my safety
38:15I wish I could believe that, Daniel
38:26It is sundown, sire
38:29It is time to take Daniel to the den
38:38Don't think you've gotten away with this
38:42Prepare my chariot
38:43Daniel will ride with me
38:45Uh, sire
38:47There's no need for you to accompany us
38:50On the contrary
38:52There is no need for you to come
38:55Guards
38:56Confine these two to their homes
39:25Oh, most excellent one
39:28Here to see the death
39:30Of a betrayer
39:31No
39:31I'm here to see that this man
39:33Is treated with the respect
39:35He deserves
39:35I owe him that much
39:40Daniel
39:40My most trusted administrator
39:43You've served me well
40:04I hope your god protects you
40:07Thank you, sire
40:09I know he will
40:10I wish I had your faith, Daniel
40:12The least I can do
40:14Is give you a fair chance
40:16To prove me wrong
40:21You three
40:22Come forward
40:23We're going to seal this rock
40:25I don't want anyone tampering
40:28With this cave
40:29I don't want anyone tampering
41:07Stop that at once
41:09But, sire, you always have music before a feast
41:13There will be no feast tonight
41:16Sire?
41:17Tonight we honor Daniel with silence
41:22Now, leave me
41:39Royal advisors made him choose between God and King
41:44But Daniel's faith gave him the strength
41:46And he risked everything
41:48In his heart he always kept faithful to God's laws
41:53Knowing faith would save him from the big bad lion's claws
41:57Here in Babylon
42:00So nice to visit, why not stay in Babylon?
42:04If you wanna leave, you better pray in Babylon
42:08Watch your step, don't misbehave in Babylon
42:12Or you'll end up in the lion's cave
42:15Bab, bab, babble on
42:18Bab, bab, babble on
42:20Bab, bab, babble on
42:22Oh yeah, yeah, yeah
42:25Open it up, hurry
42:29But why, sire?
42:31I have my reasons
42:43Daniel! Daniel!
42:46King?
42:48He lives.
42:56He lives! He lives! He lives!
43:00He lives! Set me down!
43:03Uh, uh, in breath.
43:12King?
43:16My god protected me, sire.
43:20But how, Daniel?
43:30He lives!
43:34He lives!
43:34I know!
43:38He lives!
43:58And the angel watched over me through the night.
44:28It's true. You're alive. God is with us.
44:33I told you to have faith in the Lord.
44:37Daniel, your God has rewarded you again and again
44:41for having an unyielding faith in him.
44:44This must be acknowledged.
44:49Bring them in.
44:50Yes, sire.
45:07No, it can't be. That's impossible.
45:14I beg of you, sire. I've served you for many years.
45:18It's too late for please. You've sealed your fate. Bring him forward.
45:26Stand up. You were two of my most trusted administrators.
45:31You were so jealous of Daniel, you committed treachery.
45:36I have no choice but to sentence you to the lion's den.
45:43Take them away.
45:45Please! Please! Anything but this! No!
45:49Please, I...
45:50Daniel, the scroll.
45:59Daniel survived the lion's den
46:02because his God, the living God,
46:05rewarded Daniel's faith.
46:07So today, I have prepared a decree
46:10for all the land to follow.
46:15Darius decreed that all of his kingdom
46:17would give thanks to the God of Daniel's people.
46:33And Darius' scheming administrators
46:36were taken to the lion's den.
46:39Daniel never did return to Jerusalem,
46:42but he lived out his days as a trusted administrator
46:45to Darius the Mede
46:47and then Cyrus of Persia.
46:49And yes, he remained forever loyal
46:52to the laws of Moses.
46:55And yes, he remained forever loyal to the laws of Moses.
47:24So now, if you're a man of God
