Anthropic is in talks with the Trump administration over its frontier AI model Mythos after the Pentagon labeled the company a supply-chain risk over guardrails on military use. Co-founder Jack Clark confirmed the dispute is narrow and said discussions are ongoing. Mythos, announced April 7th, is Anthropic's most capable model for coding and agentic tasks. A federal appeals court declined to block the Pentagon's blacklisting.
