00:00As a woman, I just want to share some experience before coming to the Taliban in Kabul.
00:07I was a university lecturer on the Sunday during my class.
00:14I was aware of that Taliban coming to Kabul.
00:19So suddenly and immediately, I just told the students to go to their home.
00:24Everyone was shocked, especially women and especially girls, female students.
00:32So everyone go to their home.
00:35I remember that I hardly come to home about two to three hours it takes the way to come home.
00:46When I was aware of that, I just lost my hopes.
00:51And I haven't any hope more for the future.
00:55As I always worked as a gender specialist in many empowerment projects with the women.
01:04As I was a lecturer and I always was working with the females.
01:09And I always motivate them to do and they can to do.
01:14They can have their own rules in society.
01:17But it's hard to me that now that person that was a motivation for the other girls and women.
01:26Now I unfortunately hide my identity.
01:29And I'm talking at the way that no one can understand who I am.
01:37The future, there is no hope for the future, especially for the women.
01:44Because they never let us to teach in a class where the young female students and male students.
01:55And also as experience in two days that all the women are at home.
01:59The women are trying to hide in their identity.
02:03They are trying to hide their contracts, their identity cards, their white activity they do.
02:09That there is a dark and heartless future for the women.
02:14And the women are back to 20 years again.
02:18And everything that they achieved in these 20 years, they are going to last.
02:24As my personal experience, I have my master's.
02:29But now I can't show my identity.
02:33I'm going to hide it.
02:35So we are in a dark future.
02:37And that's it.
