40:25Angela Montgomery has been denied bond, and the public defender recommended a mental health
40:30evaluation after an officer testified today that she was found in her home with the twins
40:35and a .40 caliber pistol.
40:37Officers say this was the same type of gun that was used to shoot the infant's mother.
40:41She said she was unaware of the crime, that she was assisting her twin sister, which she
40:47does not have, and that she took possession of the children from this twin sister and then
40:54tried to pass them off as her own children.
40:56Montgomery has been charged with aggravated assault and two counts of kidnapping.
41:02I was struck by the fact that she had her own children, to be able to account to be diagnosed with the
41:03woman's child who was wounded in her side.
41:04When she was wounded, the black belt was killed in her family, and it wasn't necessarily
41:05that she was wounded.
41:06My dad, this was an awkward man, and I was injured.
41:07Detective Skinner, Savannah Police, I saw you in the ambulance and I'm amazed at how well you're doing.
41:28You've been shot three times and your ability to basically run out and say what happened is remarkable.
