00:00Hey!
00:01Hey!
00:02Pandora!
00:03Pandora!
00:04What you need to do is get control of Pandora.
00:06If dogs go wild...
00:10They are absolutely nuts.
00:12Is the dog around?
00:15I can't control them.
00:17Come on now big boy.
00:18Nathan thinks he can read.
00:19Surely he can.
00:20He can't.
00:21He's a dog.
00:22Of course he can.
00:23And get up!
00:24Oh, here we go.
00:25No, get down!
00:26To no good!
00:27That's not as me now, is it?
00:28I'm honoured.
00:29Or down.
00:30Oh no!
00:31And dirty.
00:32He loves a big large crap.
00:35Oh!
00:36Tank likes to rub his boy parts.
00:39What is going on with you Tank?
00:41When pups...
00:42Wonder what we're going to learn today!
00:44...need to be schooled.
00:46Three, two, one, and sit.
00:48Fantastic!
00:49Look at that!
00:50Or if your pooch...
00:52He's dropped one.
00:53He got a whiff.
00:54...has a personal problem.
00:56Some dogs have bacterias that are gas-producing.
00:59Just in case.
01:01One man...
01:02Hey!
01:03Look at that!
01:04...will give it his all.
01:06Jack!
01:07Oi!
01:08Leave it.
01:09...and get answers...
01:10I think I might know what's going on, and it's not what you think.
01:13...to any doggy dilemma.
01:15Yeah, that's next level, innit?
01:17This week, two brothers at war...
01:24We're lucky we've got a big enough house to cut it into two.
01:30...ruining a retirement.
01:32It's as though we're growing apart.
01:34I feel quite lonely at times.
01:37They're putting an awful lot of faith in me.
01:39A randy pop...
01:40Oh, get down.
01:41...gets the cold shoulder.
01:43We're not having that, right? Off you go.
01:44Game over!
01:45Game over!
01:46And Graham learns the tricks of the trade...
01:48That's spaghetti!
01:49...when it comes to nail clipping.
01:51I can see where this is going.
01:57Retirement for many means being able to enjoy the simpler things in life.
02:02Max, check the tire pressures, mate.
02:04Perhaps that's tinkering with our favourite toys.
02:07I tell you what, make yourself useful.
02:09Get us a spanner, would you?
02:10He's a bit rubbish as a mechanic, mate, but he's good company.
02:13Ah, Graham's not ready to put his feet up yet.
02:16Come on.
02:17But the couple he's going to meet were very much looking forward to their golden years together.
02:23Well, I'm in Wiltshire today and I'm on my way to see two dogs and their humans.
02:29And they've asked me to meet at their caravan.
02:31To be honest, I've never really been the touring caravan type.
02:35But, you know, whatever floats your boat, a lot of people love it, don't they?
02:38Fair enough.
02:40Oli.
02:41Oli.
02:42Des and Anne would love to embrace their retirement dream.
02:45Good boy.
02:46Of travelling in their pride and joy.
02:48It's quite an investment.
02:49It's a top of the range caravan.
02:51Everything is just a home from home.
02:53The plan was to take the van and the dogs and have a month in Scotland.
03:00But a serious brotherly beef is stopping them.
03:05Zach and Oli are at war.
03:08If I thought we were going away, I'd be not sleeping.
03:16Because I'd be so worried about it.
03:19I mean, look at them.
03:21I don't want them like that.
03:27It's a big investment sitting here, not doing anything for us.
03:32Ah, this must be it.
03:35Morning.
03:36Morning.
03:37You all right?
03:38Hello.
03:39Nice to meet you.
03:40Anne, isn't it?
03:41It is, it is.
03:42Ah.
03:43Shall I come in?
03:44I'm coming.
03:45Yeah, Minnie.
03:46It's a fun shouting match, isn't it?
03:50Calm down.
03:52Oli.
03:53What does the future hold for the caravan?
03:54We've actually got it up for sale.
03:55Oh, have you?
03:56We thought, well, if we're not going to use it, we ought to sell it.
03:57Yeah.
03:58It's a reluctant sale and the hope is, if you've got a magic wand...
04:13Ha!
04:14I'll see if I've got one in the car.
04:16If we could fix it, we could pee away in the caravan and it won't be for sale.
04:21Well, there's no magic wand, but there might be a method if we can find one, but I've got
04:24to unravel what's going on.
04:26Well, cracking up is like walking into World War Three.
04:31Both dogs barking their heads off, baring their teeth, snarling at each other and it
04:37seems relentless.
04:38So the retirement dream, the caravan, is up for sale.
04:42Unless I can fix the dog problem.
04:46They're putting an awful lot of faith in me.
04:51It's not just caravanning the couple can't carry on.
04:55They can't enjoy their beautiful garden together either.
04:59We've had to split the garden into two.
05:01There's no way that they would stay in the same garden.
05:05This side over here is where Zach, during the day, has got access to.
05:10This side of the garden is where, during the day, Ollie's got access to.
05:15Anne's done it out quite nice.
05:18And Anne will be here with Ollie and I'll be at the other side with Zach.
05:23It's not ideal to have two dogs that we can't share together and share our time together.
05:29It's completely split.
05:30And we kind of say, cheerio, you're in your half of the garden, I'm in mine.
05:38The constant crossfire is wearing the couple down.
05:44Living separately, it's as though we're growing apart.
05:50We just get so used to doing things on our own now.
05:53And then the more it goes on, the more apart we are.
05:57I feel quite lonely at times.
06:03To see how divided Des and Anne's lives have become, Graham's joining them on the home front.
06:12All right, Graham, I'm just going to open these blinds and then you'll see what we have to cope with.
06:18All right.
06:19Ah-oh.
06:21Blimey, right.
06:22It's started already.
06:23Blimey, right.
06:24Blimey, right.
06:25Blimey, right.
06:26Blimey, right.
06:27Blimey, right.
06:28Blimey, right.
06:29As you can see, you can't live like this.
06:31So we've had to divide the house into two.
06:32Right.
06:33And that's how it stays really.
06:35There's the Ollie zone and the Zach zone.
06:36Yeah.
06:38yeah the brothers feud is non-stop just goes on and on then Graham's keen to
06:48understand the impact well you can live in separate lives hey yes doesn't I
06:53spend a lot of time separated the house being separated the garden we used to
06:59all sit out in the garden together we don't do anything like that now you do
07:04start growing apart because you just get so used to being on your own and doing
07:08things on your own I do want us all to be together and be one big happy family
07:13again it's pretty extreme it is we are at the end of our tether on what to do yeah
07:21we don't know what to do with them as the war rages inside there is one moment of
07:30the day when the boys call a truce and what about walking the dogs are I mean
07:36presumably going separate ways here now that's that's the bizarre thing as soon
07:40as Holly is aware that we're going to go for a walk they'll come together no
07:44problem at all well I'll tell you what without further ado can I see this can we
07:48go out for a walk with Zach and Ollie at a ceasefire out and about
07:55I also don't hate each other after all Graham needs to know what triggered this
08:00turf war 18 months ago we noticed that Ollie would take himself off to bed earlier
08:06and earlier so we took him to the vet they found that he'd got copper storage
08:12disease this rare genetic and potentially life-threatening condition causes
08:18inflammation of the liver and cell damage due to an excess of copper and after
08:24surgery Ollie spent weeks recovering in the kitchen Ollie's kind of got used to
08:29that area I suppose yeah started to defend it is that fair to say true yeah
08:34so since then that's when they've both been separated yes exactly and they've
08:38not been back together since exactly okay that does sound significant doesn't it
08:42yeah I think it's a bit harsh to say that Des and Anna got it all wrong but the
08:48fundamental mistake I think they made was when they created a temporary
08:52separation for Ollie to recover that became permanent the longer these dogs
08:59have had their own territory and fought over it the harder it becomes to reverse
09:04your way out of that so I think it is a difficult problem and I don't think we're
09:10gonna fix this like a magic wand job in a day but we sure as heck can get
09:13everybody on the right track I hope coming up Graham needs to call time stop no on a
09:20lusty lab stop it's getting dangerous because he nearly pushed me down the
09:24stairs with the baby not long ago he nails it with some helpful hacks we want these
09:31close to the dog's nails and then we're just gonna do and can he broker a peace deal and revive a
09:44retirement dream hold on and do nothing Graham's in Wiltshire we're taking on brothers at war Olly and Zach
09:58is only half the battle and we kind of say cheerio you're in your part of the garden I'm in mine not
10:06only are Des and Anne's retirement plans down the drain the future for the caravan we've
10:11actually got it up for sale their relationship is also suffering we just get so used to
10:17doing things on our own now it's as though we're growing apart I feel quite lonely at times
10:24Graham believes Ollie's recovery from his operation sparked the conflict you put him in the kitchen and
10:34and he's gone right I associate this place with with safety recovery so he's defended that place
10:41but I think the longer that they've got their own territory the harder it becomes but he hopes by
10:48bringing the brothers together little by little they will learn to bury the hatchet if we put them
10:53together for a minute or two nothing happens great separate them yeah so the memory you leave them
10:59with was well I saw him and nothing bad at him oh good and then maybe we build it up two minutes
11:05maybe then it's three let's start at the house and the garden because at least we've got a little
11:10bit of room around us there to see how we get on and if things dogs do lovely and calm that's great get
11:19too heated if they do kick off we're not going to separate them we'll bring them outside and take
11:26them for a walk and I'm hoping that might calm them down Graham's banking on them being able to tolerate
11:32come on thanks a minute together come on but they can't even get past the threshold
11:43without it kicking off
11:49come on come on good boy Ollie they've calmed down now
12:06yeah let's try again
12:10let's just give it a minute and see what we got
12:18all right we'll go for a walk again you go first Dan
12:27and then you can join us all right on you go
12:32right well we got further
12:37with the brothers calling the shots by barking
12:41they're bargaining on the other dog gets taken away or I get taken away that's what they want
12:46all right it's time to switch things up so we're going to sit there and be very calm so the good
12:53boy and the stroke we're reserved for when they're quiet now they're not going to be quiet for long you
12:58might just get two or three seconds while they're taking a breath really but the principle there is
13:03look you're getting praise when you're quiet
13:06Graham's plan is clear
13:10let's wait for a sec see what happens hold on and do nothing stand your ground
13:18if we stop again for a second you tell him good boy
13:21good boy Zach good boy
13:25and offer praise in moments of peace
13:27good boy it's a painstaking process
13:39but eventually
13:42good boy
13:44good boy
13:46oh he sat down as well he's gone from starey eyes and and fighting
13:53stance to sitting back and soft you know good boy having laid the foundations for a lasting peace
14:01agreement hey this is different good boy very good what do you reckon that i think he's very good
14:13yeah reconciliation oh i'm pleased with this could be a real possibility well i can see it now
14:20that there is a hope we will actually get a life back and a life with our dogs we'll be able to go away
14:26and do all the things that we wanted to do but for the couple to really start enjoying retirement again
14:37graham will need to return to take on the bitter caravan conflict
14:46graham's next job takes him north to derby to meet a labradoodle who's quite the handful
14:53so a labradoodle is you won't be surprised to hear a cross between a labrador and a poodle
14:58now people have been crossing those two breeds for many years but they've really picked up
15:03popularity in the last couple of decades really um since the 80s they've been used as service dogs
15:10because you've got the intelligence of a poodle the appetite of a labrador which is quite useful for
15:15a dog trainer and also they they're quite good for people who may have allergies so that's why we
15:22see quite a few around i think they said
15:33morning oh hello nice to meet you you're all right come on in hello you're rupert
15:38are you you're lively come on in you go hello oh blimey hiya nice to meet you nice to meet you
15:45martin graham who's this then hello this is freddie hello freddie and who's this this is elfie
15:53hello and you yes this is rupert he's a lovely lad compared to some other dogs i see he's amazing
15:59he's the best family dog that you could wish for he's fantastic isn't he with the kids yes so if he's
16:05the perfect family dog what's your problem the problem apparently is when i leave the house oh really
16:11it turns into a completely different dog yeah yeah yeah is that for yeah from the moment his master's
16:21back is turned see you later kids see you later bob bye rupert has one thing on his mind a leg over
16:31with the lady of the house rupert get down rupert no get down and he won't take no for an answer
16:42that's enough get down
16:46get down down no and then if he hears like any cars he'll look as if and go over and see if it's
16:54martin coming home he is so sneaky this loved up labradoodle wants time alone with bobby get down
17:04all day down every day no down in the kitchen rupert in the bedroom
17:11rupert on the couch stop it no in fact rupert get down get down everywhere rupert rupert get off rupert no
17:31i can't even not laugh because it's just like
17:41the other morning between half past six and half past nine i'd count up to 34 times rupert get down
17:47and with a toddler and baby to look after down in north her loved up puppy is pushing bobby to the
17:55brink we need graham's help now because if it doesn't get sorted out someone's going to end up
18:01really hurt rupert get down i just want to be able to show him the love and attention he deserves
18:07without him showing me too much love and attention get down i've got to see this haven't i yeah i'm gonna
18:18have to ask you to leave your own house unless i can see the problem yeah do you mind no no thank you
18:23all right what you're gonna do i'll wait for the show to begin bye
18:31there you go get down get down it's hard enough when i'm on my own but obviously when i've got
18:37children as well yeah let me just get him yeah sure get him out no yeah oh blimey get down that's the
18:45last thing you need get down get down no just be careful don't worry stop no rupert get down get
18:54down no is it particularly in this room that he does it he'll do it anywhere i was just going to
18:59make freddy a drink so if you want to come in and see if we're in the kitchen yeah sure come on trouble
19:05oh there we go no get down get down oh he's at it here no he's a big lad as well isn't he yeah he'd be
19:22like that's what i mean he will push me over the amount of times he's knocked me back it's getting
19:27dangerous because he nearly pushed me down the stairs with the baby not long ago oh with your
19:31baby in your arm ow and he's just like he literally doesn't say no for an answer does he no stop no
19:39no no no no that hurts stop no stop no no no no rupert stop
19:52i've seen quite a few dogs that get um over amorous shall we say get down but this is the worst
20:01case like this that i've seen um because he's powerful and because it's an onslaught
20:07rupert get down it's clearly affecting bobby's mental health but i'm also worried that it's dangerous
20:14it's got to stop you must be absolutely frazzled why don't you go grab a seat i'll make us a cup of
20:19tea shall i oh that's lovely thank you get martin back we'll have a chat oh thank you
20:29how's it affecting you martin when you're at work i'm just waiting for the text or phone call
20:33off bobby to say the dog's doing this the dog's doing that and then it puts more pressure on me
20:39i'm just thinking i'm gonna have to tell my boss i'm just going home just to stand there so the dog
20:43don't hunt my missus i'm being cheated on by a labradoodle yeah there is that yeah it's a busy
20:54household this so you got three-year-old dog going on four yeah seven months old yeah you got a dog
21:00that's one year old yeah that was an interesting time to get a dog was there a reason for that we
21:05found out we was pregnant didn't we and obviously we were so excited well unfortunately it just
21:11wasn't successful so for me rupert was that baby that we'd lost and he was like a an anchor maybe
21:21like he would he was just something that i could focus on i feel like i owe a lot to rupert because he
21:30got me over gotcha a massive time in my life that was really hard i was curious to hear why you
21:39would choose to get a puppy when you know you've got one young son and another baby on the way but
21:45i wasn't prepared for the answer really they lost a baby and i suppose about the time when she thought
21:53the baby should be due she got a puppy and that puppy became the baby
21:58he was a great emotional support and then at six months he's six months old everything changed
22:05alfie was born and he became a real nuisance he made life unbearable and i think that explains an awful lot
22:16coming up can graham rescue a retirement dream des has got the caravan up for sale from a pair of
22:24battling brothers sooner or later we'll give in it's time to trim those talons we want to be able
22:32to slide this card underneath the nails rupert get down and can he reign in randy rupert one day he's
22:39jumped up and done that probably didn't know why he was doing it and it's like oh that worked yeah
22:45without him getting the hump he's gonna learn to grow up a little bit game over
22:55graham's in derby where lusty labradoodle rupert no has been trying to get his leg over with the lady
23:02of the house bobby get down all day every day leaving her totally exhausted down
23:17rupert only started acting up after baby alfie was born and graham reckons it's not rumpy pumpy
23:24this randy boy craves it's bobby's undivided attention in some ways this is the worst case of
23:32that kind of behavior i think i've ever seen the reason it's so intense i think it is the
23:37circumstances of of when you got him you're at home all the time because you're on maternity a
23:42little puppy rupert's got 100 of you almost 100 of the time yeah yep and that went on until he was
23:49about six months home yeah yeah which is when alfie was born right so the whole thing changed for him
23:55and he went from getting all that attention to not a lot and the one way he found to get attention one
24:00day he jumped up and done that probably didn't know why he was doing it and it's like oh that worked yeah
24:05i've got you the problem i've got is that what you're doing is making it slightly worse some of the
24:11time you're just so frustrated with him you end up shouting at him so he starts to go into a different
24:16place and it gets worse and worse yeah so i think we've got to wean him off it he's he's going to
24:20learn to grow up a little bit graham wants rupert to learn that he can be with mum but only on
24:27certain terms he's got to learn to share nicely he cannot have all of mum's attention all the time
24:33yeah rupert get down until now bobby's reaction to rupert's relentless humping get down has been
24:40inconsistent shouting get down laughing i can't even not laugh or waiting it out graham wants bobby to
24:50step in fast and make it clear we pick up down that it's game over on the leg over get down
25:00so as soon as rupert starts to jump up we're gonna lead him outside and we're gonna throw a command in
25:06there as well right game over you'll start to associate game over with i've blown it we're gonna
25:12put him out in the garden momentarily he'll calm down we'll bring him back in again if he's a good
25:17boy we can tell him he's a good boy give him that attention that he craves and give him a treat
25:23but how will rupert react to some tough love oh we're not having that right off you go game over
25:31that's it that's it leave leave him out where she can come on out that's it shut the door
25:43he's calmed down now so i'll let him back in go on try again
25:47straight at it game over well done out out
25:52great he's processing right now yeah something has changed
26:06right i'll let him back in come on young man try again oh good boy yeah hello
26:15now that might have been a fluke or not but he came straight up to you and went
26:19no maybe not good boy with rupert cutting out his risque behavior good boy oh look at that he
26:28gets the attention he really craves that's worth a treat good boy good boy oh this is very good
26:39yeah good boy now last time by now he was jumping all over you money yeah
26:45so he's got to be thinking i'm running out of options rupert may be getting the message
26:51down but his amorous antics reach a climax get down when bobby's seeing to the kids
27:03i don't want to involve a baby just yet but i do want to up the ante wait there i've got something for
27:09you there you go the last thing you needed was another baby right now but
27:21oh no my thinking is well we could practice couldn't we all right okay well you don't have a name for
27:27the baby yet tim tiny tim that was quick all right if you want to pick tim up and let's see how we go
27:35come on tim that's it there you go tiny tim oh he's interested look oh that's nice
27:43good boy there you go oh that's nice i'm rocking like he's a real baby
27:51good boy
27:56good boy
27:59good boy bobby's attention may be divided
28:04he's gonna lie down but for once randy rupert's taking a back seat amazing
28:09how will he cope there you go tim good boy that's nice when tiny tim gets bobby's undivided attention
28:26well he's interested but he's not being naughty
28:30now what's he gonna do all right pay me attention
28:34rupert okay
28:42yeah look he is trying to go look me me me not this new one it's a bit much
28:47as soon as things get hot under the collar you know what he's getting nippy again ain't he game over
28:54well done out that's it you're blowing it he gets the cold shoulder out good call bobby well done
29:04let's bring him back in then but has rupert learned his lesson good boy
29:13good right so if you go back to it now let's see what you do that's it good boy
29:21good boy well that's good that's good
29:24oh so you were very clear there it's like no your body language basically said not now i'm busy
29:32and he's gone all right mom good boy good boy
29:40good boy
29:42the progress is massive
29:45it's so good like normally he wouldn't just lie here he'd be pouring me
29:49biting me so yeah it's amazing to see him like this
29:53rupert may be learning how to behave around tiny tim hello hello freddie
29:58are you okay hello but how will he react when dad drops off the real kids good boy
30:06very good hello mate you're back hey got it right freddie and alfie that's it
30:14there you go hey well this is amazing isn't it amazing really good
30:27super calm it's good isn't it lovely
30:31do you think fred god good they are the ultimate accolade fred says it's good
30:39now this once amorous attention seeker has learnt being laid back is the best way to mum's heart
30:47it's just so nice to be able to sit on the floor with both the kids and
30:52not be attacked yes yeah and he's just wandered off without bothering you i can't believe it it's
31:00amazing yeah yeah honestly it's gonna be life-changing thank you so much honestly it's been you're welcome
31:09rupert was the dog that she got when she should have been having a baby and it didn't happen and he
31:16became such an immense comfort to her through those terrible grief-stricken days and now i'm hoping that
31:23because of this training finally she's got her rupert back now the training today has been amazing to be
31:30able to get my life back with the children when martin's not here i think it's just going to make the
31:36world of difference to the family leaving another happy family graham can move on to his other mission
31:44keeping the nation's dogs in tip-top condition and here's one for a lady called kira hi graham
31:51bluebell really hates having a nails cut and i wondered if you had any tips and tricks on making
31:55that experience that little bit easier for her well that's a good question well i can think of a couple
32:00of things i'm working with nervous dogs all the time but any groomer worth their soul is going to have
32:05a few tips and tricks that i probably haven't even thought of so i feel a visit coming on graham's taking
32:14kira and bluebell to meet award-winning groomer verity hardcastle i love grooming so much because
32:20it's that immediate gratification you build up this lovely relationship with the dog you make them look
32:26beautiful the dogs know it when they come out of that groomers they have a certain strut in their set
32:32hiya hello hello kira verity hi kira lovely to meet you hi bluebell hi bluebell you're adorable
32:43so we've got a problem with bluebell okay bluebell does not like having her nails cut or anyone going
32:49anywhere near her nails first up it's key to get any dog used to new objects be that the sight smell or
32:57sound do you think it's the sight of the nail clippers that would trigger the dog i think
33:02partially the sight and the sound i'm sure graham you know about this about having a pair of nail
33:07clippers yeah and just having them around at home if the dog acknowledges them touches them we're going
33:12to start rewarding the dog wait for the moment when she goes hmm actually check it out ah treat appears
33:19yeah yeah question for you verity how often should we be trimming dogs nails really depends on the age
33:25of the dog how much activity they're doing what kind of terrain they're walking on sometimes a bit
33:29of pavement pounding is great for their nails just to grinds them down exactly yeah yeah with years of
33:36experience under her belt verity's got a top trick for knowing when it's time for a trim actually the
33:43best indicator is a credit card is it right okay so if we have the lovely bluebell stood and we want
33:51to be able to slide this card underneath the nails when they're relaxed on the table
33:58i do think they need trimming a little bit before attempting to trim bluebells
34:03okay so i've brought some tools verity has a unique way of making her comfortable around the clippers
34:10that's spaghetti yeah it'll make sense all right okay so once you can get the dog in a calm state
34:17probably really helpful for you at home is to have a helper a feeder yeah at one end who can be on
34:23point with the treats right because it's a lot handling the dog and handling all this equipment and
34:27trying to feed it on cue as graham said like timing is key so the reason for the spaghetti for a lot of
34:34dogs it's the noise sensation i'll let graham do the thing oh i can see where this is going yeah
34:40so we want these close to the dog's nails and then we're just going to do the sun section so when
34:49the dog's calm laid on your knee just start getting them used to having this noise the clippers cutting
34:55the spaghetti oh mimics the sound of nails being trimmed there you go and when bluebell doesn't shy
35:02away from the noise she loves this doesn't she she's rewarded oh what's that there you go with a treat
35:10if i'm using these clippers to cut up bits of tree i'm making an association with the site of clippers
35:17and food being prepared what do you like one of those there you go look what i've got she's like i love
35:25for anyone cutting nails it's important to have the right equipment now this is a plier nail clipper and
35:32you can get these in various different sizes depending on if you're dealing with a rotty's
35:36nails or a yorkshire terrier's nails now bluebell seems much more comfortable with the sight sound
35:44and smell of the clippers we better bite the bullet have a go haven't we how will she cope with getting
35:50her nails done come here oh clever girl hey what we got here who's a clever girl hi blue yeah now she looked
35:58round and went oh that lady's got the clippers on the girl never mind oh that's good what she got
36:04there good girl that's lovely good girl well done this has been so good though i have actually managed
36:12to trim three nails i actually think it's really important to end on a high because what we don't
36:17want to do is push her too far i think she needs to have some homework done getting her used to having
36:22her feet touched yeah and then feet touch reward feet touch reward two nail clippers near her reward
36:29thank you it's been really helpful and i'm definitely going to get me
36:37still to come the pressure's on all right we'll have to ride the storm to end a bitter brotherly
36:45feud give him a minute and rescue a retirement dream well we knew it wouldn't last forever
36:58before graham can kick off his dog training boots for the week he still has a bitter battle to face
37:05right i better crack on between warring brothers zach and ollie owners des and ann hope the dogs would
37:13complete their retirement dreams but the brothers bad blood is forcing everyone to live separate lives
37:22living separately it's as though we're growing apart i feel quite lonely at times
37:29last time graham brought the warring parties together for peace talks in the garden
37:34oh he's sorry but surely oh he sat down as well good boy this time he has a much greater challenge
37:43i haven't coped with it emotionally i've had tears in the most hotly contested territory the caravan
37:53good morning all right nice to see you again this bitter feud has raged on for 18 months i'm not
38:03exactly sure how it's going to go so any peaceful progress made today will be a victory if we go in
38:10and they kick off straight away we're going to have to do similar to last time and just ride that storm
38:15okay i want them to get to a point where they finally blow out then we can praise them we can give
38:20them a little tickle on the head you know graham wants to build on the work they did on home soil good
38:27boy bringing the brothers together for short periods good boy good boy praising any moments of peace
38:37come on then but will the close quarters of the caravan prove too much all right we'll have to ride the storm
38:58good good boy good boy
39:01come on good boy good boy good boy good boy ollie good boy yeah he's a good boy yeah he's a good boy
39:11good boy ollie good boy good boy good boy
39:18okay all right after a brief armistice peace talks break down well we knew it wouldn't last forever but
39:25that was good and it's time to retreat to neutral territory
39:32so same plan as the house at the moment let them sort of blow out a little bit tell them how clever
39:37they are and then reset outside
39:42well i felt more confident in there i wasn't so het up right like i was in the house and garden
39:49initially it was all new to us but i feel it's getting better and i certainly felt better it is
39:56getting better slowly so i think we should try again after a circuit breaker outside graham wants to
40:04see if they can increase their time together that's it inside
40:09let's give them a minute
40:21oh that's good
40:31they're coming down quicker aren't they yeah they are
40:34good boy good boy good good good good i think he really does want to stop but he won't he won't
40:47i think we're gonna ask him
40:52the more they'll forget their feud.
41:00Ordinarily, you'd have given up by now, wouldn't you?
41:02Oh, absolutely.
41:07Good boy, and Ollie's sat down.
41:10He's sitting down, yeah.
41:11Good boy.
41:12Good boys.
41:15Good boy.
41:17Do you know what?
41:18We should call it quits at that, I reckon.
41:21Good boy, Ollie.
41:23When I first saw the dogs in the caravan,
41:26there's absolutely no doubt in my mind that was two brothers at war.
41:30But it's getting better.
41:32Almost more importantly than that, Anne and Des know what to do now.
41:36They've got a method. They've got something to work on.
41:39He's a good boy.
41:40With the brothers now working towards a ceasefire,
41:43there's hope this once war-torn family can all live together in harmony.
41:49Good boy, darling.
41:51It was absolutely good.
41:54Good.
41:56Good.
41:57I feel much more confident now.
42:00Yeah.
42:01I don't know where we would be if Graeme hadn't have come out to us.
42:06I really don't.
42:08As long as we carry on working and get it a bit better for Ollie as well,
42:12then there's no real reason to sell the caravan.
42:14We can keep it.
42:15Hallelujah.
42:16We are going to keep it.
42:18Well, hopefully we've got your retirement dream back on track, haven't we?
42:21Well, thank you very much.
42:22Pleasure meeting you both.
42:23Very much so.
42:24Thank you so much for everything.
42:27See you. Come on, boys.
42:28Bye-bye.
42:28Come on, then.
42:37Zach and Ollie are becoming brothers-in-arms at home.
42:41Oh, boys.
42:42But Ollie's ill health means caravan trips are currently on hold.
42:47Bluebell is looking forward to her next manicure.
42:51And Rupert is far less randy.
42:53Rupert is literally like a different dog.
42:55He doesn't jump up me.
42:57It has changed all of our life as a family.
43:00If you think your badly behaved dog could do with Graeme's help,
