00:00Alright, what's up?
00:01Amayyan and Windows 10 is reaching end of life and it is the best time that we upgrade
00:05to Windows 11.
00:07So today I'm going to show you how you can install Windows 11 without losing any data
00:11and let's get started.
00:14For this, I recommend that you download the Windows PC Health Check app that will help
00:20you determine if you reach the minimum requirements or not.
00:23Simply go to this link in the description, click on it and it will directly download
00:27the PC Health Check app.
00:29Once it is downloaded, all you have to do is install it and check if we can meet the minimum
00:36system requirements or not.
00:39Most of the requirements are very easy but the most problematic are the TPM and CPU requirements.
00:47So we're gonna check now and you can see I do not reach the minimum requirements.
00:55All of the requirements are still reached but the only two problems are the processor
01:00is not in the list and I do not have TPM 2.0.
01:03Well, I need to tell you that to install this method we need at least TPM 1.2.
01:12If you do not have TPM 1.2, this method won't work.
01:16So, we are installing Windows 11, I mean upgrading from Windows 10 to Windows 11 without losing
01:22any of the data.
01:23So, let me show you how you can enable TPM if you have it on your system.
01:28First of all, close everything on your system and go to your BIOS settings.
01:33I'm just gonna restart it and boot into BIOS.
01:37To boot into BIOS, I am going to press F2 and this will open up the BIOS setup.
01:44Your key might be different so you need to search Google for this and we need to go to
01:50security.
01:51Here you can see I have TPM security which means my laptop does have TPM but this is not
01:57TPM 2.0, it is TPM 1.2.
02:02So, I am just gonna enable it and activate it.
02:05After this, I need to hit apply and now TPM 1.2 is enabled.
02:11So, I am just gonna exit it and reboot into Windows 10.
02:16Well, this guide is about without losing anything, it will simply upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows
02:2111 without losing your personal files or apps.
02:24For this, we need to go to run and search for TPM.msc.
02:29This will give us the information about our TPM and now as you can see, this is the options
02:36that we have.
02:37So, in the corner we have this spec version, this is the TPM 1.2 which means I do have
02:44TPM
02:441.2 and now I can install Windows 11 without losing any of the data on Windows 10.
02:50So, just to make sure, we can check this TPM 1.2 in PC health check app and now it
03:00is time
03:01that we upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11 without losing anything.
03:07First, all we have to do is go to this link, I will provide this link in the description so
03:11you can download Windows 11 for yourself.
03:14Scroll down and we will be using the disk image system.
03:18Simply select the Windows 11 multi-edition ISO.
03:22Click on download now.
03:24We need to select the language.
03:26For this, I am selecting English from United States.
03:29Hit confirm and wait for it.
03:32So, the link is now generated.
03:34This is the 64-bit download.
03:36This is only supported on 64-bit CPUs.
03:40So, make sure you have a 64-bit one.
03:42If you do not have a 64-bit one, this method won't work at all.
03:47Now, let's wait for Windows 11 to be completely downloaded and then we can proceed with our methods.
03:55Well, if you do not have TPM 1.2, you can still use Windows 10 but still we need to
04:02install it.
04:03So, the download is now complete.
04:05Simply extract this ISO image.
04:09If it gives you the option to mount, I recommend that you directly mount the ISO file.
04:14But if it does not give you the option to mount, you can extract the ISO file and the setup
04:20will appear.
04:21Then, we can install Windows 11 directly.
04:24Now, let's wait for the extraction to complete.
04:27This is, I think, going to take some time.
04:32Because, my laptop is very old and slow.
04:36Okay.
04:38Now, I am still waiting for it.
04:45Okay.
04:46Now, this ISO image is now extracted.
04:48Simply open it up and go to your setup.
04:51Make sure you go directly to setup and here, I recommend that you change the how setup downloads.
04:57If you do not change this, this will take a very long time.
05:01So, I recommend that you simply change this setting at first and then proceed with like this.
05:08Now, let's wait for this to check our PC.
05:15And now, as you can see, my PC does not meet Windows 11 system requirements.
05:20I do not have a processor and TPM 2.0.
05:24But, I do have TPM 1.2 which means I am still able to install using some hacks.
05:31Okay, let's close this setup.
05:33You should open this setup before going to registry editor.
05:38Because, this will give more setup folder in this registry editor.
05:43So, here we need to search for regedit and this will open up the registry editor.
05:50Say yes to the prompt and this will open up like this.
05:54I have actually gone through this but I do have a direct way.
06:00Simply just copy this location of registry that I have provided in the description.
06:06Simply copy that and then paste in the location.
06:10This will directly go to the setup.
06:12You do not have to manually do this.
06:15Just like this.
06:16And here we need to add a value.
06:18Right click here.
06:21Right.
06:23And we need to create this new file.
06:29Make sure you do the keep those words correct.
06:33These are case sensitive value.
06:36Simply select D word 32 bit value.
06:39You cannot change the modify this value unless you rename it.
06:44Let me show you.
06:45If you try to modify and change its name.
06:47It will not let you change the name.
06:49And do not change its value before changing the name.
06:56So simply cancel it.
06:58Rename this value to this.
07:01Make sure you get all the words correct.
07:03And use the same case sensitive letters as well.
07:07Now you can open it up and change its value to 1.
07:10Which means it is now active.
07:13And now you are able to install windows 11 on your unsupported hardware.
07:18Which does have TPM 1.2 at least.
07:22Now we can open up the setup of windows 11.
07:25Let's change this to not right now.
07:28Because we can update it later.
07:30So it does not take much time.
07:33Now let's see.
07:45So after the registry edit.
07:47It does not say anymore that your PC does not meet minimum requirements.
07:52Now it gives you direct license.
07:54Simply accept that license and wait for it to do its job.
07:58Now here.
07:59It might ask you that.
08:02It.
08:03May work or may not.
08:04But.
08:05We are gonna.
08:06Hey.
08:06Accept.
08:07And.
08:08Let's see if my PC has enough storage.
08:11Okay.
08:12Now we are ready to install.
08:13But if you want to do clean install.
08:15You can do that as well.
08:16But.
08:16I am keeping my personal files and apps.
08:19Because.
08:20We are simply updating from windows 10 to 11 in this video.
08:23And not doing a complete install.
08:25So we are gonna keep everything as it is.
08:28And now.
08:29Let's.
08:29Get right into it.
08:31And also make sure you have this.
08:33Keep.
08:34Personal files and apps.
08:35Ticked like this.
08:38And.
08:40Now.
08:41We are gonna hit on install.
08:43Click on install.
08:44And this will start installing windows 11.
08:47And this.
08:47Is going to take.
08:49Some time.
08:50And.
08:50Your PC might restart several times.
08:52So don't worry about it.
08:53Just.
08:54Let it do its job.
08:56And.
08:57You will be good to go.
08:59Now.
08:59I am gonna just.
09:00Speed up the process.
09:17Now.
09:18To our desktop.
09:20But.
09:20You might be noticing that.
09:22My wallpaper is gone.
09:25But.
09:25Don't worry about it.
09:27Everything else is working fine.
09:29I can just simply reapply the wallpaper.
09:31And.
09:32This will be.
09:34As.
09:35Good as new.
09:37Doesn't.
09:38It doesn't change anything.
09:39So.
09:40Before applying wallpaper.
09:41I actually recommend that you.
09:43Check everything.
09:44We also does have.
09:45New apps installed.
09:47I did not have copilot before.
09:49Or microsoft teams.
09:50But.
09:51This is the.
09:52Windows setup.
09:53Stuff.
09:54Before.
09:55Removing anything.
09:57And.
09:58It might.
09:59Say that.
10:00Your windows is not activated.
10:02But.
10:02This is just.
10:04Some bugs.
10:05They can be fixed.
10:06If you just.
10:07Simply update.
10:08Your windows.
10:09By going.
10:10Into settings.
10:11And windows update.
10:12And.
10:12Check for updates.
10:14Also.
10:15If you do.
10:15Have.
10:16Some optional updates.
10:17Available.
10:18You should install.
10:19Those.
10:20As well.
10:20So.
10:20I'm gonna.
10:21Just gonna.
10:21Go to.
10:21Advanced options.
10:23And.
10:23Here.
10:23We need to find.
10:24The optional updates.
10:27And.
10:27Now.
10:31I'm just gonna.
10:33Click.
10:33On.
10:34Check.
10:35Both.
10:35Of.
10:35Them.
10:37Like.
10:37This.
10:37And.
10:38Download.
10:38And.
10:38Install.
10:41Okay.
10:42This might be.
10:43Feeling slow.
10:44At first.
10:45Because.
10:45This is the.
10:45Fresh.
10:46Installer.
10:46Windows.
10:47So.
10:47Okay.

10:52Wallpaper.
10:52Issues.
10:53Simply.
10:54Find.
10:54That wallpaper.
10:55That you.
10:56And.
10:56Red click.
10:57Connect.
10:57And.
10:58As desktop.
10:59Background.
11:00And.
11:00Now.
11:00The wallpaper.
