00:00Also, the World Health Organization resumed the evacuation of the wounded and
00:04sick from the Gaza Strip by a RAFA border crossing following the suspension order
00:09on April 7th. The United Nations body has suspended the evacuation following
00:14the Israeli regime's assassination of one of its workers in the humanitarian aid
00:19operation. In a statement issued on Friday, the international organization
00:24announced that a total of 27 patients and 42 companions were evacuated from
00:29Gaza on red-crescent ambulances from the Medical Rehabilitation Hospital in
00:35Han Junis. In the statement, the organization also emphasizes commitment to
00:39preserving the lives of the residents of the Palestinian enclave and to providing
00:44accessible health care for all people around the world.
00:51The number of patient travelers were small and only 20 to 30 patients traveled
00:56accompanied by 60 to 70 people. The situation is difficult. We have 26,000
01:01patients in the Gaza Strip with travel permits. However, no more than 1,000
01:06patients have traveled since the ceasefire was declared.
01:10We are displaced, our homes are destroyed and we live in tents. The world should be
01:15helping us and standing by us because the situation is getting worse and we don't
01:20know how to eat, drink or lose.
