17:15Don't go to nobody else's house.
17:17Kumbaya.
17:18But, you know, it's time to get back to the auction
17:20because some people didn't bid me up.
17:22You know what I mean?
17:23I mean, they conspired against me.
17:25I was all hopped up on caffeine and got too excited.
17:29Ooh.
17:30Now they didn't unleash the dragon.
17:34How can you get their ass, bro?

19:18Congratulations.
19:19All right.
19:19Whoo.
19:20Folks, that's the end of the auction.

19:23Thank you, everyone.
19:24Come on!
19:27Storage volume is a dangerous sport, bro.
19:30Y'all think this shit a joke, but you can joke, bro.
19:35All right.
19:37Going against Ivy for the soccer was a piece of cake.
19:40A $1,900 piece of cake, but still.
19:43Got some luxury comfort style.
19:47Huh.
19:50They're luxury shoes, look at this.
19:53Wow, my pimp friends are gonna love these.
19:57These shoes can go anywhere between 50 to 100.
20:01And it looks like there's 12 of them in here.
20:04All right, it's already $500.
20:07We're off to a good start.
20:09What is this?
20:11Oh wow, these handles are really nice.
20:13Looks like an old vintage wicker basket.
20:16I put this on my store for $50.
20:19Bunch of crystal right here.
20:23Wow.
20:26Oh, nice jewelry.
20:28Looks like it's all real silver and could be real diamond right there.
20:32$300.
20:35This is why I got this unit right here.
20:37It's for surfboards.
20:40It's in pretty decent condition, and I know I can sell it for at least $100.
20:45I got another surfboard.
20:47Got another surfboard.
20:48Another $100.
20:50And we got another $100.
20:53And another $100.
20:56I'm loving this unit already.
20:58All right, let's keep going.
21:00Oh my god, I'm so happy already.
21:04Look what we got.
21:05I talked about it earlier.
21:06I said, please let me find some camera gear.
21:09And guess what we got?
21:11I could sell this for $100, but I'm going to keep it.
21:15Great day.
21:18And it's more lenses.
21:21Now that's manifesting at its finest.
21:24I need to get all the way up here.
21:27Whoa.
21:33This unit is stacked to the brim.
21:36Careful.
21:39Please, no avalanche.
21:48So embarrassing.
21:50You would think this is my first or second time doing this.
21:52I knew that avalanche was coming.
21:56Ah, we got outdoor string lights.
21:57I've sold them before for $20 a piece.
22:01Looks like we got about $20 in here, $400 bucks.
22:04Got a table saw right here for $75.
22:07Oh, all right.
22:13Tote full of clothes.
22:14Tool bag right here.
22:16Oh, ooh, actually, it's a Carhartt.
22:18It looks like it's new in the bag.
22:22Wow, this one's really distressed.
22:23It's vintage as well.
22:25Is it a jacket, too?
22:25Oh, no, not a jacket.
22:27Got two Carhartt jackets right here.
22:29Oh, wait, this is Susie.
22:30Wow, it looks like a collab.
22:32I sell clothing, but I'm not really familiar on how much
22:34this might cost.
22:35But more Carhartt.
22:37I'd say 90s.
22:38It looks really unique, too.
22:40This could definitely be worth something.
22:41I think I need to do some research and see if somebody
22:44can tell me more about these.
22:46What do we got here?
22:48Backpack?
22:49Hey, brand new.
22:50Wait, is this a hiking bag?
22:52Outdoor Master.
22:53That's a name brand.
22:54$40 right here.
22:55We got five more hiking bags.
22:59$200.
23:00Wow.
23:01Shoes galore.
23:02I'm going to have to see how much I have here.
23:10More shoes.
23:11This is crazy.
23:14Everyone in my apartment complex gets one of these.
23:45You get a shoe.
23:46I'm going to be a big hitter.
23:47Plus, I still have those Carhartt jackets that need to be
23:49looked at.
23:50I might be the new kid out on the block, but I'm the best
23:53buyer today.
23:56Wow.
23:57$1,300.
23:58I'm hoping it was a good one.
23:59Dave had me spending more than I wanted to.
24:01My lucky slides are working overtime today.
24:04Ooh.
24:05Ooh.
24:05Ooh.
24:06Got some electronics I see.
24:07Believe it or not, these old timers, they work.
24:10It's a great condition one here.
24:11$30.
24:12Ooh.
24:13I knew this locker was good money.
24:15Look at the flop coming up.
24:18Ooh.
24:19Another computer almost identical to that one.
24:21$40.
24:23All right.
24:24Let's put all these weights together.
24:25Get a total price.
24:27Get my workout on.
24:30Ooh.
24:30That right there is a good $200 worth of weights.
24:34Now, this is a big old speaker right here.
24:36That's a pretty good brand.
24:37I'm going to say a good $75.
24:41Ooh.
24:42Coolers.
24:42You cannot live without one of these, especially in Southern
24:44California.
24:45$50.
24:46And if it was really hot that day, $70.
24:48Sell them on the hottest day of the year, you get the most money.
24:51I think this is an Xbox.
24:52Yep.
24:53Xbox 360.
24:54This is an older model.
24:55They actually still sell real good.
24:56It looks like all the cords and everything are in here.
24:58This is a good $60.
25:00Samsung.
25:0142-incher.
25:03Flat.
25:03With the stand.
25:05$70.
25:07Some DVDs.
25:08Ooh.
25:09These sell good.
25:10These are Sega Genesis.
25:12Sega Genesis has got to be at least 40 years old.
25:15Here's the controller.
25:18This is the Genesis itself.
25:19This whole entire box, $200.
25:23So many video games, this unit is a teenage nerd's dream come true.
25:27All that's missing is the ninja stars.
25:29Ugh!
25:34Got some video games.
25:36PS5, PS4, PS5.
25:38Woo!
25:39Lot of stuff in this room.
25:41Bam!
25:42Two!
25:43Nintendo Wii's.
25:44Sony PlayStation 2 with a memory card.
25:47PSP.
25:48PSP.
25:49PSP.
25:49PSP.
25:50All these video games and consoles.
25:52I'm going to say $400.
25:54Ooh.
25:54This must be a speaker for a car.
25:56Rockford Fosgate.
25:57One of the best brands there is.
25:59$150 used.
26:01Ooh!
26:02Oh, man.
26:03It's a fake.
26:05Ooh!
26:06Ah!
26:08Afro.
26:09Sama Ivy.
26:10Ah!
26:12Did I say ninja stars?
26:13I'm in samurai swords.
26:15Oh, hey.
26:16This bike.
26:17Neon colors.
26:18Three piece cranks.
26:19$100.
26:20Because it's aluminum.
26:21So right here we have a dresser with a bed.
26:24$150 all combined.
26:27Oh, we got some more stuff back here.
26:29We got...
26:29This is...
26:32I'm going to assume this is some kind of weapon.
26:35And it looks like old wrapping.
26:39And it definitely feels like this would be a handle.
26:43Or that would be a handle.
26:44Heck.
26:45Guess you hit with both sides.
26:46You know my motto.
26:48If I don't know something, find somebody who do.
26:51Made a couple hundred.
26:52But if this wooden sticks magic kicks in,
26:54might slide me into a bigger payday.
26:57Lucky slides.
26:58Lucky slides.
26:58Don't fail me now.
27:01Ah.
27:02Hmm.
27:02Hand smells weird.
27:06Come on, ladies.
27:08I paid $15.50 on this locker.
27:11It's time to see if it was worth the gamble.
27:14Henry, can you grab me that...
27:15Here?
27:16Yeah.
27:17Right here.
27:18Give me all the boxes over here.
27:21Open them up.
27:22What is this?
27:24Oh, this is some kind of Legos.
27:26Look at that.
27:27This is the bases, I think.
27:29Probably $25 in each box.
27:30I'm going to say conservatively $1 each.
27:33So $1 a piece, $20, $40, $60, $80, $100, $120 bucks.
27:36Here we go.
27:38Just like the checkout stand.
27:40$60.
27:41A lot of $60 all day long.
27:45Another $60.
27:46There you go.
27:47Come on, man.
27:48Faster, faster, faster.
27:49Another $60.
27:51Open these up for me.
27:53I got to see what's in them.
27:55What the hell is a cushion?
27:56Are these dog beds for my dogs or what?
27:59Pregnancy pillows.
28:0010 bucks each.
28:01I guess I'm going to be in the pregnancy pillow business.
28:0310.
28:0410.
28:05Another $20 of pregnancy pillows.
28:08There's at least 50 pregnancy pillows in this unit.
28:11That's $500, baby.
28:13Get it?
28:14What have we got in here?
28:16Oh, look at that.
28:17Beautiful.
28:18Okay.
28:19So that's just like that.
28:20You put your lemonade.
28:22That's $100 right there.
28:24Here we go.
28:25Nice dish yet.
28:26It is made in Japan.
28:29I'm going to say like $100 on this set at least.
28:32Okay.
28:33Kemperwood chest.
28:34Open it up.
28:35Surprise!
28:37What do we got here?
28:39There's a little bit of porcelain and stuff in here.
28:42Look at this.
28:43Inlaid jewelry box.
28:45This is going to be like a six panel screen.
28:48All inlaid.
28:49Mother of Pearl.
28:50So I'm going to say there's probably $100 worth of
28:52galacto bolts in here.
28:55And then the chest alone.
28:56Killing dried.
28:57Probably out of the 60s or 70s.
29:00Easy $100 bill.
29:02An ancient table here.
29:04What do they call those?
29:06Lighthouses or windmills?
29:09That's a $40 bill.
29:12I like it.
29:141940s Duncan 5 mahogany.
29:1660 bucks.
29:18All right, Henry.
29:19Just let it roll.
29:19I'm still hoping for the gold trick.
29:22Oh, look at that.
29:28It's got a really cool lamp here.
29:30I don't know if it's mid-century, but it does have an older-looking tag.
29:34I think that writing may be Russian.
29:37We have an old antique phone here.
29:42I think this is definitely Russian.
29:44I don't know.
29:45I may have to take this box to get an estimate on it.
29:49Put this over there, Henry.
29:52All right.
29:53This is a headboard turned sideways black lacquer.
29:56This is probably the dresser.
29:58Black lacquer is pretty popular.
30:00That's going to be about 200 bucks.
30:02I just sold dresser cleaned up.
30:04150 bucks.
30:05Another $100 worth of miscellaneous.
30:08So, all in all, I think I got my money back so far.
30:12Now, I got to phone a comrade to tell me more about these items.
30:15I don't know about you guys, but I'm exhausted.
30:19I'm getting out of here.
30:20I'll see you later.
30:24Oh, here we go.
30:25I'm meeting with weapons expert and owner of collector's armory,
30:29Joseph Bell.
30:30Figured he might know a thing or two about this wooden stick.
30:32Hopefully, it doesn't leave me stumped.
30:36Joseph!
30:38Joseph!
30:39Yes, sir.
30:40How you doing today?
30:41Doing pretty good today.
30:42I brought something here.
30:43To me, it looks like some type of club or...
30:46Well, that's obvious.
30:48Yeah, it is a club.
30:49What you have there is commonly known in the West as a rifle stock club.
30:55These are from Fiji.
30:57This particular style is used as a status symbol.
31:00A chief or an esteemed warrior would carry these around the village,
31:05showing his power as a warrior and a leader.
31:09What kind of wood is that?
31:10Tropical hardwood of some sort,
31:12usually from a root cluster on a very serious heavy tree.
31:18And they carve this area here from the joint at the ground level.
31:24They still make them for the tourist trade,
31:26but this one has some actual patina and age look to it.
31:32So, it's probably 19th century.
31:34It's amazing how thick it is.
31:36Yeah.
31:36It's like the end of a baseball bat, not the beginning.
31:38Well, Fijians are like a lot of Pacific Islanders.
31:42They have a very large stature.
31:44Like the big Tungans.
31:45Big heavy guys, six foot six, 350 pounds.
31:50Yeah.
31:50They're serious people as far as being able to fight.
31:55Well, I think I've got big enough that I can carry that thing.
31:58Yeah.
31:59You could intimidate me with it, that's for sure.
32:02That depends on your answer to my next question, Joe.
32:05Well, I made a long drive here to see you for the most important question.
32:10You already know what that is.
32:11Yeah.
32:12I bet you want to know what it's worth.
32:13Yeah.
32:14I really want to know what it's worth.
32:15Well, let's take a look.
32:16Fijian stuff is relatively rare, particularly any that have any natural age or patina.
32:24Good weight.
32:25No serious damage.
32:28I think it's value would be, I'd say about $900.
32:42What a find.
32:43Now I can celebrate and go clubbing.
32:46So you know what?
32:47I think I'm going to go to Fiji.
32:48I'm going to take that so I think I'm like a king or something.
32:51They might.
32:52We don't know him, but he got the stick, so he got the power.
33:00Wow, this place is great.
33:02This is my kind of shop.
33:03Today I'm meeting with the owner of Gators Vintage.
33:06I'm curious if you can tell me more about these jackets I found.
33:09Hello.
33:10Hey, so good to meet you.
33:11Nice meeting you.
33:12Yeah.
33:12I got some vintage Carhartt jackets.
33:14I don't know much about them, so I'm hoping you can kind of give me some answers.
33:19Maybe let's start on the just simple J-97.
33:24Someone did a lot of work in this thing.
33:26So for the first 100 years of Carhartt's history, it was a workwear brand.
33:31They ran through both world wars producing uniforms.
33:34They produced clothing for American workers from the railways.
33:39But around the 1980s, jackets like this began to be fashionable.
33:43This is a pretty good example of a Carhartt jacket, and it's not too shredded.
33:48Does that add to the character, or is it more like they want them in pristine mint condition?
33:53So even though it's really distressed, it doesn't really take away from the value that much.
33:58And there's going to be a certain subset of vintage buyers who are really interested in having a piece that
34:03was this original and this distressed.
34:06That's one fun little detail if you want to see what the original color looks like.
34:09This was snapped for the entire time it was worn.
34:12So that's the real color right there.
34:14That's the original.
34:15Yeah, the original color underneath.
34:16You can add that as a, what, a sun?
34:18Sun faded.
34:19Yeah, okay.
34:20See?
34:20I know the lingo.
34:22And then from the late 80s to the 1990s, Carhartt made these like Aztec style jackets.
34:28A little bit more fashionable than utilitarian.
34:32A lot of rappers wore them like Wu-Tang Clan, Easy E.
34:35But you know, it's still duck canvas.
34:37It's still solid.
34:38Condition seems really good on this guy.
34:41A couple holes.
34:43All the elastic seems really good.
34:45Yeah, this is in actually really, really good shape for the era.
34:49Great.
34:49Yeah.
34:50Cool.
34:52Whoa.
34:55Stussy collaboration jacket.
34:57These are exceedingly rare, like really, really rare.
35:00So in the like early 1990s, just for a couple years, Stussy would buy Carhartt blanks and embroider their name
35:08on them.
35:09This was not like actual official collaboration between the two brands, but he did sell these at his shop.
35:15Okay.
35:16I've seen this exact jacket on eBay sell around $4,000.
35:23So you're telling me I have a $4,000 jacket right here?
35:28Unfortunately, I might have some bad news for you though.
35:37I believe this jacket is a reproduction.
35:40Wow.
35:41Sorry.
35:41Sorry about that.
35:42That sucks.
35:43Yeah.
35:44If you look at the buttons right here, do you see how clean that looks?
35:47Yeah.
35:4825 years of wear tends to make a button look like this.
35:52A little bit of fading on it, oxidization.
35:55Yeah, it's a huge difference.
35:57The zipper feels a little bit cheaper.
36:00And from what I understand about Carhartt, this sort of like polyester size label would be really, really non-traditional.
36:07I thought I struck gold with the jacket.
36:09Looks like I got duped by a dupe.
36:12All right.
36:12So how much do I have in all three jackets?
36:16In terms of the J97, in my shop I would probably value this around $200.
36:27Great.
36:28Yeah.
36:28Cool.
36:29And then in terms of the Aztec jacket, this is going to be the most valuable piece in the lot.
36:35I would probably put a value of around, I'd say you have around like $450 on it.
36:42Okay, awesome.
36:44So sorry again about the Stacey jacket.
36:46It's okay.
36:47It'll be good for those cold auction mornings.
36:49It's cool.
36:50Yeah, it's nice looking, you know?
36:51Yeah.
36:51And maybe from a distance someone will think you have a $4,000 jacket on.
36:55Exactly.
36:56I guess this is the place.
37:04I'm bringing my Russian antiques to Charles Phoenix at Sunbeam Vintage.
37:08Apparently he's a king of kitsch.
37:10We've never met before.
37:12I'm Charles.
37:12David.
37:13Nice to meet you.
37:13Nice to meet you.
37:14This place is beautiful.
37:15Yeah, Sunbeam Vintage.
37:16Love it.
37:17Let's see if this stuff will be pooting some more money in my pocket.
37:22Let's start with this.
37:23Okay.
37:24Oh wait, what is this?
37:25I thought this was a television, but I'm wrong.
37:28Well, this doesn't go with this, because this isn't this.
37:31Oh, oh, oh, wait a minute now.
37:33The radio on top.
37:34I better wake up and smell the radio and the television.
37:37And this is it right here.
37:39Can we read anything on it?
37:40No.
37:41Unfortunately, I never studied Russian.
37:42And then, what's this?
37:44Look, that's for a car now.
37:46It is for the car.
37:47Oh, that, okay, the plot just thickened.
37:49If this will work in the car, you plug that into the cigarette lighter.
37:54Cars don't even have cigarette lighters anymore.
37:56But you know, old cars had four cigarette lighters.
37:58One for everybody.
37:59And ashtrays.
38:00And ashtrays.
38:01Wow.
38:01So you could just drive around and just smoke and drive around.
38:04I remember those days.
38:04Just smoke and drive around, yeah.
38:05And now we have a telephone.
38:07It looks like a telephone had a baby with a piano.
38:09These probably light up, and yeah, these are all the different lines.
38:13So like if, you know, the president is calling you.
38:16Remember dialing?
38:17Yes, I do.
38:18I'm old enough for that.
38:19Remember like in prank phone calls?
38:21Yeah.
38:21You just dial a liquor store.
38:22Yeah.
38:23And do you have Prince Albert in a can?
38:24And they'd say, yes, we do.
38:26And then you'd say, you better let him out.
38:28And then you slam the phone down.
38:29Prank phone calls have been lost.
38:32Forever.
38:33Forever.
38:34Okay, so last but not least, where do we begin to behold the glory of how much we all seriously,
38:40no matter where in the world you are, everybody loves a Sputnik fixture.
38:43So this could go on a wall, it could go on a ceiling, it could go on a table, it
38:49could go on the whatever, it could go on your head.
38:51This is a superstar.
38:52Why do you call it Sputnik?
38:54Well, it's the classic term for the Sputnik, which is the satellite that the Russians sent in to outer space
39:00in 1957 in the race for space.
39:03But, you know, we won because we landed on the moon.
39:07Ha ha.
39:07And they didn't.
39:09There's so much going for this.
39:11Obviously, it's missing a couple light bulbs, no big deal.
39:13And then these decorative knobs needs a little polish, needs a little detail, easy breezy, not to mention the fact
39:19that it is on a turquoise base.
39:21And turquoise is absolutely 100% classic in the realm of the space age era.
39:27Mid-century modern.
39:28I mean, this is a little more like streamlined modern, kind of art deco-y, but still fits into the
39:34mid-century aesthetic.
39:36Modern.
39:36I never heard that word.
39:37Mid-century modern.
39:39But modern isn't more expensive.
39:40Modern does not make it more expensive.
39:42Oh.
39:42Modern makes it more like 1940s or 30s.
39:45Gotcha.
39:45Mid-century modern is more like 50s and 60s and 70s.
39:49Well, what do you think all this fine quality merchandise is worth?
39:54You've got three Russian pieces here.
39:57They are, you know, curiosity pieces, more or less.
40:01And they're a little dirty.
40:03They need detailing.
40:04I'd say on a good day, all cleaned up.
40:10I'd say you're about in the...
40:15$500 range.
40:16500 bucks makes my day.
40:19Mission accomplished.
40:20Good thing I didn't rush in to judgment and throw this stuff away.
40:25Well, thank you so much for the info.
40:26I'm going to pack this stuff and get out of your way.
40:28My pleasure, Dave.
40:32Emily Pecoy kicked the competition in Riverside, walking away with nearly $5,000.
40:38Ivy Calvin clubbed up $1,100 bucks.
40:44Dave Hester limped his way to 800 rubles.
40:48While Kenny Crosley regrettably fell short, but pushed his luck one more time.
40:58Guess who's back?
41:07What are you doing here?
41:10I bought some gifts, because I think you made that bomb-ass caramel macchiaco last time.
41:15You know what I mean?
41:15So what you doing?
41:16Oh, my God, I love it.
41:17I thought I could spend about three weeks with y'all since the doors were open.
41:20You know what?
41:21Your timing couldn't be better.
41:22Laura's got me doing Honeydew Weekend.
41:24You're not afraid of heights, right?
41:26Yeah, yeah, yeah.
41:26Well, you're not going to be after it today, because I'm going to put you up in that ladder,
41:29and we're going to switch out all those bulbs, and then we're going to put some Christmas lights on.
41:33And that loose tile.
41:34Don't forget that.
41:35If you'd fix that, it'd be great.
41:36Yes, sir.
41:36And you know what else?
41:37You could sit on Bear Watch tonight with Danny.
41:40Oh, my God, you guys have a big turn.
41:41So come on in.
41:42Well, you know what, bro?
41:43I just remembered, today is the wrong time and wrong day.
41:47I'll see y'all in about two weeks.
41:48I'll be back.
41:49Watch yourself.
41:50Thanks, Kenny.
41:52Yeah, I'll be back.
41:53You barely got out of there house.
41:55What the hell?
41:56You talking about Bear Watch?
41:57What the hell?
41:58Man, I ain't got time to be fooling with no damn bear.
