00:00Come on Fletchers.
00:02We're heading into our fifth year of farming in the stunning Peak District.
00:06Here we go.
00:08They're coming!
00:09That's it, that's it. Go, go.
00:12And we're making big plans from our new HQ.
00:16Being back at the farms 24-7, it just feels like the best feeling.
00:20In a caravan.
00:21It's pretty bougie.
00:23Alongside our four kids, who are each carving their own path as young farmers too.
00:27If any of my Jacobs gives birth, I've got to do it.
00:33This year we introduce new breeds to the farm.
00:37I'm going to get a new flock of hens.
00:39I'm not even telling, Calvin. I'm just doing it.
00:42Come here, piggies!
00:44I forgot how much I love pigs.
00:46They're really cute.
00:47And continue our journey into arable farming.
00:51It's my wife, that.
00:53We've grown in confidence as farmers.
00:55I will not be defeated.
00:59Embracing the fun and chaos.
01:01Why could I not just have five minutes, please?
01:05And together, we're working hard to live our life to the full.
01:09That was really good.
01:09You know what this calls for?
01:11What?
01:11A bro.
01:12A bro.
01:21This week on our farm, we mark the end of winter by hosting our very first farmer's market.
01:29And Marnie's land shack proves to be a big hit.
01:32Any Morocco love sausages?
01:37Oh, man, these guys are going to sell you out within an hour.
01:40With the first signs of spring in the air, plans to grow our herd gets underway.
01:46So I'm already on the lookout for some more cows.
01:50And more cows who are already in calf.
01:53Ideally, a cow with a calf at foot who's in calf.
01:58Three lives to the price of one, as they say.
02:01And lambing season starts early, with the unplanned arrival of two beautiful lads.
02:07He was born this morning.
02:09Born this morning?
02:11Yeah.
02:11This is his birthday.
02:27Free-range kids and animals are our heaven.
02:31Your brothers are drinking water from the drain.
02:36That is what you call farm kids, isn't it?
02:38Show me what a farm kid looks like.
02:40It looks like that.
02:42And since moving back onto the farm full-time,
02:45we've loved watching the kids reconnect with farming life.
02:49There's 50 sheep altogether.
02:5150 sheep?
02:5350 girls.
02:53And guess how many boys?
02:56Ten.
02:57One?
02:58One boy.
02:59To marry all of them girls?
03:02Yeah.
03:03Wow.
03:04What do you think of that?
03:05Good.
03:06That's really good.
03:07Marnie's flock, which will grow in size come spring,
03:10is certainly keeping her busy.
03:13Between us, we've got over 70 breeding ewes.
03:17So between us, we could have about 140 lambs.
03:23If any of my J-cubs give birth, I've got to do it.
03:29OK, I'm taking the responsibility of my sheep,
03:32and you're taking the responsibility of us.
03:35Deal.
03:37And Milo is also keen to rear his own flock.
03:44But I've got 12 reasons to try and convince him to turn his hand to a different animal.
03:49We've got the pigs in mid-December, and they were about six weeks old.
03:55So they've just been weaned, and that means they've just come off the mum.
04:01And then a mixture of gilts and boars, boys and girls.
04:06The boars are still intact, so they've not been castrated.
04:10And then we'll rear them, then, until what they call fattening weight.
04:14And as we've experienced going to market, unfortunately,
04:17these homegrown native breeds who have had the best life in the woods,
04:24best diet, just doesn't translate to a return,
04:28you know, a sustainable return, really.
04:32It just doesn't make financial sense.
04:35And then we've also sold at restaurants, which is better,
04:38and does make a good return.
04:40But still, you know, the Holy Grail is selling direct to you and I.
04:45So that's the intention with these.
04:47We'll rear them till they're fat, and we'll get them in boxes,
04:50and we'll do another farmer's market.
04:52And who knows, we've said that we might keep maybe one or two of the best girls
04:55and get them back in pick,
04:57because our pig story, after a little hiatus, is back on track.
05:04Milo's confidence with the animals has really grown this last few months,
05:08and making him part of the pig's journey could be great for him.
05:20Right.
05:21Look, there's another trough in there that I want to feed.
05:25Where are your wellies?
05:28That's it. Do it gently in there, all along.
05:31Right. Come on, let's give it a good swell out now.
05:35So, jump down, and you can do this swelling bit.
05:42Right.
05:42What I want you to do, start at the top and work your way down.
05:48Get nice and low and give it a proper good swell.
05:50And don't forget, you want to do this bit as well,
05:53the bit that you can't see.
05:55Yeah?
05:55Yes, sir.
05:57Good, good.
05:57Right, then.
05:59Let's get that back up there.
06:07They're about three months old at the minute,
06:08and you'll typically finish pigs around between six to eight months,
06:14so they're about halfway through.
06:17But this next three months, they will, again,
06:21just as dramatic the size increase has been thus far, it'll continue.
06:25Wait, are these all sheaves?
06:27No, no, some of them are boys, and we have a look for the little testicles.
06:32After a quick check, we've got eight bores and four gilts.
06:36So, real potential for expanding our drove.
06:39So, in the coming weeks, for us, we'll separate them.
06:42So, we'll get the two separate pens, females and males.
06:48And then we'll be monitoring the females to see who makes grade,
06:51who potentially can live as a breeding female.
06:53And then we'll look at the boys.
06:55Same could be applied.
06:56They could be an exceptionally great boy that we keep as a breeder,
06:59but the rest of them will grow and to be fattened.
07:03And you want them to kind of finish before they start really exercising
07:08or demonstrating their testosterone.
07:10Because if you let that go on unnoticed too long,
07:13the meat will be tainted.
07:16Because you know what they say about pigs?
07:19Cows will only eat, like, grass and nuts,
07:22and sheep will only eat grass and nuts.
07:24Because they're rumen animals, whereas pigs...
07:28Eat anything.
07:30Eat anything.
07:30Pigs will eat anything.
07:32What's your favourite farm animal?
07:34I've never asked you that.
07:35What is your favourite animal?
07:36Pigs.
07:37Is it really?
07:38More than sheep?
07:39Yeah.
07:41Well, rather than get pigs next,
07:43rather than...
07:44You know, Marnie's got her sheep, her own sheep,
07:46and you asked the lot to get some sheep.
07:48That's just following Marnie.
07:50Why don't you...
07:51Get pigs.
07:52Yeah, I get...
07:54Milo's seems sold on my idea.
07:56And if this lot grow well,
07:58we could be breeding from them by the end of summer.
08:01Come on, let's give these a stroke,
08:02then we can get going.
08:03Boop, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop,
08:11boop, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop,
08:14boop, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop,
08:18boop, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop
08:33the fields and forests of our farm. And with a new season on the horizon, we're getting
08:39ready for our first event of the year. A farmer's market. We've invited some local
08:45producers to come and sell their wares alongside us in the barn. And for once, we're ready
08:52to go. Which gives me time to crack on with other jobs around the farm before we open
08:58our gates tomorrow. Today, I'm taking delivery of some special homegrown feed that will give
09:04our livestock a protein boost.
09:11So, our oats, our spring oats that didn't make great for porridge, made great for animal
09:21feed. So here you have it. Somewhere in there are oats from our farm. And farms, you know,
09:27locally, maybe around the country even, but we've all played a part in producing this.
09:34So, there'll be other farms with this feed that have got a bit of our oats in their feed.
09:42So yeah, still a success. We were hoping for porridge, but a lack of rain this summer meant
09:49our first crop didn't plump up enough before harvest. So animal feed it is.
09:55As soon as the cows hear the lid of the corn bin go up, they start.
10:03Happy livestock means a happy farmer. It feels good, actually. Yeah, it feels quite a proud
10:12moment. That our little farm has somewhat kind of gone into the supply chain to produce something
10:25for many other farms. It's these little things, these little kind of moments what you don't
10:30really, you never really imagine or picture when you first start out. I'd never have thought
10:36that we'd be going into the food chain, the supply chain. I didn't know what to expect.
10:45I didn't really, you know. It was just maybe to live a quieter life. And it certainly wasn't
10:51that. I mean, it does actually smell quite nice. The real test is the taste. I'm not trying
11:00it. Should we give some to the cows and see how they are?
11:13Mum, the water is coming. Good. That's enough now for the pigs. Right. Come on, kids. Get
11:22this bottom bit of hay. Mum, I've got some big hay. Here you go. We are really pleased that
11:32they love it and they do want there. The thing is, they want to be in charge and that's great
11:39and we really encourage that. But in that, they just do whatever the hell they want. You're
11:44like, no, no. There is a system. On this farm, it seems the chain of command has had a rather
11:51sudden reshuffle. And at just three years old, there's already a new foreman running the yard.
11:58It is. Mateus is the farmer, so... I am the boss. Are you the boss? Yes. Well then, what
12:06can we say about that? I'm the boss of the cows. Look, we do, we do! Shall we go and
12:13feed
12:13my hands? Yeah! Come on then. Right, the moment of truth. Let's see if the cows like it.
12:30Come on then. What do you think? Let me know. Straight in. Crowther and Ray, they love
12:44it. Ruby, come on, you can have a little bit. The boys are loving this. That's a great review,
12:53isn't it? Five-star review from Ray and Crowther. That's not the end of Ults. It's just the
12:59beginning. Might be the end of that particular chapter. But Ults are still yet to be conquered.
13:08And they're there for the taking, so... This is Ults part one. Mark my words. We'll be having
13:18Fletcher porridge oats. I don't doubt that. I don't doubt that for a second. Best fed cows in
13:26from Cheshire. Come on then. You're welcome, cows.
13:33Harib дождь.
13:34Set.
13:34Star.
13:51Difficry.
13:52Nine.
13:53Don't kill.
13:53All sorts of cows in the middle.
13:53And they'll get you into a tomato.
13:53It'll get you into a groan.
13:59They'll get you into a tomato.
13:59It'll get you into a tomato.
13:59What are you having a tomato?
14:00Can't get you into a tomato?
14:00I'll use some oil?
14:01I'll get you into a tomato, you've got to have to be a tomato.
14:02our livestock numbers and our small herd of native Lincoln Reds have an important
14:08part to play in our plan to expand that's just what an absolute privilege
14:17this is they're hardy but with gentle temperaments and have proven to be such
14:23big characters on the farm
14:30Kelvin yeah there's a bull here there's a ball just when you thought you'd you know
14:39they saw the next minute a bull arrives but this winter has been a season of mixed fortune
14:48we hit a great milestone with the first of our cattle being sent to produce organic
14:52meat blimey I wasn't expecting that that is that's incredible is that all ours yes wow
15:04there are your primal cups can I feel a bit overwhelmed this is I've never that's just
15:11amazing but any joy was overshadowed by the sudden and unexpected passing of cherry due to pneumonia
15:21no idea at all what's what's closer I'm just feeling a bit of shock it's absolutely gutted
15:33we're learning to deal with the highs and lows of farming life and today could be the start of the
15:39next chapter for our herd as vet Hugo has arrived to give Ruby a pregnancy test the slight jeopardy is
15:48we pulled Crowther out
15:50we separated Crowther from the females in December so she's only been given three and three and a half months
16:01really with the bull so we're just hoping maybe that was a bit premature I don't know maybe I
16:06should have let Crowther run with her a little bit longer but I didn't I pulled Crowther away so we'll
16:12see
16:12whether that gamble paid off a cow cycle is around 21 days so Crowther had three chances to get Ruby
16:20in
16:21calf before we separated them as for Ruby although she miscarried once she's produced a couple of cracking
16:28Lincoln reds our award-winning bull calf ray followed by our first heifer Elizabeth who was born late summer
16:35last year so yeah I mean that miscarriage kind of puts you back you lose two or three months and
16:39suddenly you're at the back end of summer then and it has a knock-on effect and that's it you
16:44know
16:44that's that you're forever timing things and that's the beautiful cycle you just you're going by nature's
16:49rules you know nature dictates her gestation period which is two hundred and ninety days so you know
16:55that when you're sending the bull in there if he does the job you've got two hundred and ninety days
16:59to wait until you get a calf once Ruby is safely in the crush Hugo can get to work with
17:06his portable
17:06pregnancy tester hey up get on that yoke hold on good job so you've gone all high-tech Hugo do
17:22any
17:23other do any other farmers get this or are we getting special treatment only if they ask for it how
17:28many
17:28asked for it not many not many they're not that interested in most of them so we've got hopefully
17:35this by this little lab we can see what Hugo's seen with his little glasses having such a small
17:40herd means that every pregnancy is special so I'm loving Hugo's nifty bit of kit that'll show me if
17:46Ruby's in calf instantly can you see this yeah so you've got a calf there yes it's a 2d image
17:54that's
17:55like a slice through a calf there you can see his ribs okay and then you got that empty bit
18:00that black
18:01area that's its stomach right and then you got liver around it you can see his legs yeah you can
18:07see
18:08its legs so this calf is it's about 11 week pregnancy that beginning of December so not long before the
18:20ball came out yeah that were lucky so she's in calf brilliant yeah brilliant Ruby it's good to get an
18:27idea of how her recovery is she obviously this is she had a second calf in September and three months
18:33later she's back in calf so that's a good sign and Crowther's obviously again doing a job which is good
18:39if it's bittersweet to be honest you know it is really good and but bittersweet obviously we were
18:45off we lost cherry so should have been two cows being pd today I'd like to think cherry would have
18:54been
18:54two months ahead and we could be expecting two calves as opposed to just one but we just need to
18:59get another
18:59cow don't we we'll need to replace cherry so I'm already on the lookout for some some more cows and
19:07more cows
19:08who are already in calf ideally a cow with a calf at foot who's in calf three lives the price
19:16of one as they say so
19:20excellent good good done really well and she's got in calf sort of three months after yeah that's
19:26not a bad going really that's just bang on that if you're aiming for a calf every 12 months you
19:31she's
19:31doing what she's doing the job she's meant to do yeah ideal yeah cool excellent thanks you go that's
19:38good anyway because you just don't know how it's going to go especially if there's only one to scan
19:42and there's a negative it's a bit of a blow wouldn't it i know the question is will it be
19:46another heifer
19:47calf or a bull calf you've given us a heifer you've given us a bull what will you give us
19:52next
19:53this is a you know this is really exciting it's a relief she's not you know i won't make any
19:59bones
19:59about you she wasn't my favorite cow cherry was my favorite she had such a lovely temperament
20:04cherry's a show winner and you know ruby's not had the same sort of attention we've never shown her in
20:11the ring but the best thing about ruby is despite her temperament not being quite as good as what what
20:16cherries was she's produced arguably the better calves she's produced ray who's a looks like is
20:23gonna be the best bull that we've we've had is i'd argue he's probably better than crowder you know
20:28crowder's son is he's already looking like he's he's better than him um which is good and then she
20:33produced our first ever calf but elizabeth who's looking great as well so well done really well done
20:50it's been a whirlwind of a few months for our small herd and we've been ready for some positive news
20:56and this really is it
21:15there's more good news in the lodge too ginger's puppies are thriving and as tempting as they are
21:20to keep one they'll soon be off to their new homes so we can concentrate on our farm animals
21:28and today liz is kicking off her day with the ever hopeful hunt for hidden treasure in the chicken coop
21:44we've got eggs in the most random places ever they have become very confident in the last sort of
21:52week or so and they're really venturing out now so they've got a beautiful coop there
21:59that they can get in at night stay warm go in the little side bit lay an egg no no
22:04no no they don't
22:05want that they sit on that cage and they sleep on top of that and take the blistering cold
22:12and now they've just chosen to lay on the wet floor yeah these were supposed to be the posh ones
22:19that you
22:19know wanted a bit of vip absolutely not they've clearly been here long enough and now they know
22:24you just get on with it get on with it girl the good thing is got eggs little bluey green
22:33eggs like
22:34they said a lot smaller than the leghorn eggs these are quite small trust our harakuna ladies to ignore
22:43the five-star accommodation and go completely off-piste she laid an egg there if she's been on it we
22:51could
22:51take that straight into the incubator surely why is she laying there it must have just come out there
23:03yeah
23:07yeah that's that's warm put that in my pocket keep it warm
23:12it's good news because we've waited a long time they were too young to lay and now they're obviously
23:17laying so i'm hoping that cockerel's doing his job and we're going to have some chicks soon they're
23:23going to start sitting on them what's harder to control now kids are pens look at them there just
23:29feasting in the garden look at them not bothered just doing whatever they want just like my kids
23:33do whatever they want
23:55late night early start no good for anyone is it
23:59and then up early this morning to go and collect manny's lamb
24:03um but the butchers treated me to a bacon sarnie
24:10so if you didn't give me a brew but they gave me a bacon sarnie so i was happy
24:15today's the day of another first on our farm our own fletcher's farmer's market
24:21i'm gonna pack manny's fridge up have a bit of a sweep up a bit of a tidy up and
24:26then hopefully
24:28get the show on the road
24:31man is jacob lamb burgers
24:38got my lights on
24:41alongside manny's lamb shack we'll be selling our blankets and gin and the rest of the barn will
24:47be filled with other traders who have just arrived to set out their stalls how are you
24:53nice to see you yeah very well thank you very well hello hi julia nice to meet you okay we've
24:59written on the floor so forgive me are you are you where are you from again pottery you're in this
25:04corner
25:16lovely
25:18we've tried to invite a nice mix of food producers and artisan crafters who are as passionate about
25:24their products as we are
25:29this looks amazing
25:31does that say fletcher's on the farm wow that is impressive tomorrow's lunch for you
25:37yeah yeah that'll last as a week that
25:42so what are you selling here we're selling honey honey let's try some there's a chocolate plate honey
25:50chocolate do you know what it's great to see these are all small family round businesses
25:55and it's just nice to see them all in one space honey made freshly from them pies made freshly from
26:02them
26:02bread balls made by them like it's all
26:07made at their own locations local to here look how talented everybody is
26:14and one guy said this is the poshest farmers market i've ever been to
26:20wow
26:22didn't realize that
26:25well posh is a new one for us and with a lamb shack fridge now full man is adding the
26:33finishing
26:33touches to her own store
26:37i'm writing a sign for my lamb shack
26:46that is the best writing i've ever seen so we've got in here we've got rosemary and garlic sausages
26:55here and then here we've got marnie's jacob lamb lamb and mint sausage oh i like that one then we've
27:04got
27:04kidney of the of the lamb and then we've got um the liver of the lamb i mean the liver
27:12sounds nice
27:16i think it's going to go well got a lot of lamb in there
27:31everybody's in there's one or two vendors just still setting up but the majority of them are here and
27:37good to go looking good totally transformed the whole barn really it's lovely with hot drinks and
27:44food setting up at the entrance to keep everyone fed and watered we're officially on countdown to the
27:49first shoppers arriving right what time is it in 10 minutes people will be walking up ready to do some
27:59shopping it has been so far so relaxed still a lot to do you still got a lot professional you
28:08still want
28:08it to be a certain way you want to feel but it's the fact that these guys do this week
28:13in week out
28:13they come with their kit set up everything out boom ready to go
28:34our farm gates are finally open for the first event of the year

34:05them right come on
34:18as they're a bit too young to be serving customers just yet i decided to take a quick break and
34:24take
34:24them to see a rather special new arrival on the farm
34:29look at that she's tiny that one
34:37oh little baby oh
34:39he was born this morning
34:43born this morning yeah
34:47well this these were unexpected uh so clearly there's a male got in amongst them without us
34:54knowing but we did sense that's why we brought her in she started to bag up so
34:58she's been in for a few days now so this is let's have a look what it is this is
35:02a little boy
35:03so cute
35:08max would you like a hold mate have a little hold
35:15there we go
35:16our lambing season isn't due to start for another six to eight weeks and this is another tuplam
35:22and while these guys are a happy surprise it also means that larry must have got in with the jacobs
35:29before topping season officially started well there we go so actually we we half home then
35:37because my sheep was the dad and your sheep is the mum i really don't know what viper has been
35:42playing at this year not only as the jacobs super sub kelvin outperformed him now larry the clin
35:49has swooped in two top issues aside mana is happy to claim the new mixed breed lambs as her own
35:59i know what i'm gonna call this one that the little one's called rain rain that's a nice name
36:06and the other one's called ray rain and red and these two boys will be the first of our lambs
36:13to
36:13grow up with their bits left as nature intended this year what we're doing which is different
36:20to any other year we're not castrating so we're keeping every single male intact we're going to
36:25trial something we're going to see if that improves their growth rate so yeah two top lands whereas
36:30normally we'd we'd tail and castrate straight away but we're not castrating so we'll keep them intact
36:36as you can see they're feeding on mum two happy lambs good good right so bye bye to the lambs
36:42max
36:47oh look at their muscles black look at their muscles well done marnie
36:54you've had what yeah right i like those names rain and ray with the lambs content
37:01and the market in full swing the farm is as it should be buzzing with activity
37:15so far the blankets are going down a treat everyone's loving the beanies we've settled
37:21in now now that we you know we know what we're doing a bit more but yeah everyone's having you
37:26a good time we are that's all that matters we've still got a full afternoon of trading ahead of us
37:36but it's such a relief to get off to a good start
37:56any morocco lamb sausages
38:01our first farmers market is in full swing and we've had a steady flow of customers all morning
38:09so far so good it's um yeah we're expecting rain but the the big man's looking down on us and
38:16uh
38:17the sun's shining and we've had loads of great people people have traveled two or three hours we've
38:22had a load load of local people which is nice and people have come traveling as well so um
38:28i've not yet had a chance to speak to the stallholders so i don't know how
38:31it busy it's been for them but um but for us it's been all right yeah are you guys okay
38:42people are all enjoying a great day out supporting all the great artists and traders
38:48you want a hat what color you want to go for this pink is my new pink you want that
38:53one perfect
38:56and as visitor numbers pick up so does the pressure to meet demand
39:01i've not left this spot i'm drinking this coffee but it's actually cold
39:05i've got a clue how anyone's getting on i'm just hoping everyone's surviving out there and
39:08doing the best selling that they can we've got um my jacob lamb lamb garlic and rosemary burger and
39:17then we also got red wine i like the rosemary garlic rosemary and garlic right fridge is almost empty
39:25marnie's lamb shack has been doing a roaring trade all morning garlic and rosemary yeah anything else
39:32and she's certainly a natural sales girl
39:45well done darling have you not saved us any sausages they're all gone what about for our tea
39:52what's that we can't even say it's your own meat bro i got this from another farmer
40:05having sold out of all her meat she's finally getting to reap the rewards of her hard work
40:12we've got the gift of the gab i think she maybe takes after her mum in that sense
40:17there's quite a bit of cash there which is nice to see and obviously she's been doing the card
40:22machine as well so no i'm really pleased for her really really my only regret is that i honestly
40:27eyed some sausages up to think i'll pull them to one side and tomorrow morning we can wake up and
40:32we can
40:33have some of our own sausages well i've not got a chance now not even tasted our own lamb
40:39but i guess it's a good thing so yeah no i'm made up for her
40:44and with her lamb sold marnie steps in to help her fellow traders shift some stock too
40:50johnny's shout shout shouting and going like you want some pot
40:54do you know what you could hustle for me do you know what i want to sell
40:57loads of sausages come around and say sausages sausages sausages

41:17to take home and what have we bought i can see you've got some like marnies lamb sausages there
41:23yeah yeah excellent good good honey yeah i noticed there's no gin in there though you didn't fancy my
41:29gin i'm not a gin person you know no no i've gone past the gym all right i'm just apologizing
41:36to your
41:36wife oh right i have never seen your show okay that's all right i'm sure you're gonna watch it
41:41now though aren't you probably yeah good good i never miss it and you never miss it all right okay

41:52coming i hope you've had a good a good uh good morning and make sure you watch we're on tomorrow

42:11thank you it's the best bit people you make brilliant isn't it and as the visitors dwindle
42:17the traders start packing up and we finally get a chance to see how they've got on to
42:24listen thank you for coming to i really appreciate it and liz gets to spend some of her earnings
42:31what i wanted is a little basket you know to collect my eggs in the morning
42:36hey guys how's it been for you fantastic thank you for being part of it well listen thank you for
42:43being here you've had a great dynamic so yeah yeah it's been good day yeah it's been lovely hasn't
42:48it and we've had such good feedback people have any customers yeah yeah now we've had a fab day oh
42:53good good have you so many pies has that been successful all right okay yeah how does that compare
42:58to usual markets is that all right yeah good yeah yeah happy ladies that you come to see us at
43:04first
43:04time yeah i do about 60 to seven today all right okay oh good well that's nice then to know
43:10that
43:10you've uh it's worth your while a lot of feedback a lot of feedback excellent excellent excellent
43:16and you see you need to take this time well yes i did spot that in the in the cabinet
43:20there
43:22that's absolutely brilliant thank you very kind yeah oh brilliant well thank you guys thank you very
43:27much i've got my tea sorted for tonight well this is good because mine is sold out of a lamb
43:32so i was
43:33hoping to try some some sausages happy traders profits made an encouragement to host more
43:49not a bad way to end our first farmers market i've always i used to go to tommyfield market in
43:55olden as
43:56a kid me too and i used to love it there is something about there was something about that
44:01market used to draw me you've got to know where you are in life and we're market trainers and there's
44:06nothing wrong with that it's actually a good life you're right i mean i believe i belong in a factory
44:13i totally believe i belong in a market stall it's just something about them that like busyness isn't
44:19there you know what i like most is that they're like us and they said they're all producers of
44:25some sort so whether it was wicker basket man mm-hmm chopping boards grew barbs honey whatever it is
44:33they're all taking pride in what they're doing and it's a real sense of community that's the normally
44:38everything we do is just it's just us isn't it whereas that felt the first sign where there's
44:42there's other people who have that shared passion of producing something and then getting to meet
44:49the people are going to buy it and have that rapport with them we're all done from tommyfield
44:55market to fletcher's market it's another one we can add market traders yeah i am i was a good little
45:06good event and what a great day having nothing but positive feedback from people
45:10and it's made me realize that what does this become now is this something that's full-time
45:17or is this something that's regular this has to become a permanent fixture
45:22well we've certainly not let the grass grow under our feet this year
45:26and with spring approaching we've got plenty more to look forward to
45:35we're in the era of the horse apparently what's that we're in the era of the horse we've shed
45:39of the snake now we're in the horse which means we're going to gallop in the wind
45:43we're standing it's a sign honestly it's a thing really yeah it's been good what a year
45:50what a year here's a cuddle what a year what a year it's been emotional it has now it's operation
46:03build your house back
46:05so
