00:09To be continued...
00:30And now, here he is, Jimmy Fallon!
01:04That's what I'm talking about. Thank you, thank you, thank you very much. Enjoy yourself. Welcome, everybody. Welcome, welcome, welcome
01:09to The Tonight Show. This is it. You made it. Thank you for being here.
01:15You guys, well, it was an absolutely beautiful 80-degree day here in New York City.
01:24It was so warm, I saw a Wall Street stockbroker sharing a pinkity-drinkity with Zoran Mamdani.
01:32It was so warm today in Central Park, I saw a squirrel rubbing SPS 50 on his nuts.
01:36And I...
01:37No way!
01:39Let's get to some news here.
01:41Florida Governor Ron DeSantis just signed a bill to rename Palm Beach International Airport as President Donald J. Trump International
01:48Airport.
01:52Finally fulfilling Trump's lifelong dream of having an entire Chili's 2 inside him.
02:01You'll know it's officially Trump Airport when they open up a Hudson fake news.
02:08You'll know it's Trump Airport when they replace the TSA scanners with MRI machines. You know what I'm saying?
02:13Meanwhile, Trump just shared renderings of what his future presidential library in Miami could look like.
02:19Did you see this? This is real. Take a... This is a photo. Wow.
02:22Oh.
02:23Yeah, well, it's better than the original rendering where Trump had two Las Vegas spheres attached.
02:27And I mean, that's...
02:29That was too much. That was... I didn't...
02:33Switching gears, uh, do you guys see this? A group of thieves just stole several paintings from a museum in
02:39Italy.
02:40Yeah, in just three minutes, they managed to steal works from artists like Renoir and Matisse.
02:44Joining us now via satellite to talk about what happened is the museum's head of security, Jacques Fournier.
02:50Thank you for being here, Jacques.
02:52Merci.
02:55Merci, Jimmy.
02:56It has been, how you say, a challenging time here in Italia.
03:02Right, right. The museum is in Italy. But if I'm not mistaken, you sound French.
03:07Oui. I am originally from Le France. I moved here after I was fired from my old job.
03:14Oh. What was that?
03:16Head of security at the Louvre.
03:20I see. Well, to be honest, I'm surprised they hired you, considering they also had a giant heist.
03:25I guess I interview well.
03:28But I do not know how this happened again.
03:31We have the best guards, the best cameras, and the best, how you say, thermal imaging security infrastructure.
03:39Absolutely nothing can get past that.
03:41No, no, no, Jacques. Jacques, Jacques, Jacques.
03:43A man in a ski mask just stole a painting.
03:45I know, I know. It's still fresh in my mind.
03:49My family is ashamed.
03:51My father says I am, how you say, a disappointment to my entire lineage.
03:56And I am beginning to believe he is right.
04:00Jacques, Jacques, stop him.
04:02How can I stop him? He is my father.
04:05He can be harsh, but I love him.
04:08He made me the man I am.
04:11What? What is that sound? Jacques, you have to do something.
04:15I know I do. I will call him later and ask for forgiveness.
04:19But that sound means it is time for my smoke break. Au revoir.
04:22Wait, hey, you! It's a mess!
04:25I love a mess!
04:27Why are they smoking?
04:33Well, everyone, this is going viral at Disneyland.
04:36Paris just opened a new Frozen theme park,
04:38and their Olaf robot had a little malfunction.
04:42Check it out.
04:55Do you want to rebuild a snowman?
05:00Yes, the video of Olaf went viral,
05:03and it is, I guess, a little unsettled.
05:05Here to comment on it is another Disney animatronic
05:07from Frozen, Kristoff.
05:11Hi, Jimmy. Great to be here.
05:14Uh, we're excited to have you.
05:16Now, the Olaf animatronic malfunctioning yesterday
05:18was pretty unsettling. Has he been fixed?
05:22Ha ha! Fret not, dear friend.
05:24My companion Olaf is currently undergoing maintenance
05:27and will be back to providing Disney magic soon.
05:32Well, that's good.
05:34What do you have to say to guests
05:36who are slightly disturbed by the malfunction?
05:38Ha ha! Worry not.
05:41Malfunctions are rare,
05:42and I can assure you
05:43us animatronics are reliable as ever.
05:46Would you like me to sing you...
05:55A song?
05:57Uh, sure.
05:59Are you sure you're okay?
06:01Ha ha!
06:02You make me laugh.
06:04I can assure you!
06:14Disney magic soon.
06:17Okay, I hate to break it to you, Kristoff,
06:19but you also seem to be malfunctioning here.
06:22Ha ha!
06:23Fret not, dear friend.
06:24Would you like me to sing you a song?
06:27Uh, no thanks.
06:31It looks like some kinks need to be worked out.
06:33Thank you for being here.
06:35Magic.
06:37Why not?
06:39Sing you a song?

09:12I really want to thank you for making a space and holding the light the way you do.
09:18Wow.
09:20Of course.
09:21Yeah, nobody holds the light the way you do.
09:24Thanks for being here.
09:25You know, I got to say, I love new talent, and I want to talk about your songs.
09:30Man, that's great.
09:32Did you build this desk?
09:35A man should be able to build his own desk.
09:38Look, when I write songs, the way I look at it is this.
09:41It's like, you know.
09:42What?
09:43They're not as much like songs, but they're like, they're vibrations that come in from
09:47the universe, and they just go in me.
09:50Yeah.
09:52That sounds, uh, that sounds mysterious.
09:54Yeah, no.
09:56Yeah, all right.
09:57Well, that's cool.
09:58I mean, my songs are just happenings, right?
09:59They're happenings that happen to me, and if they happen to rhyme, well, that's good.
10:04Well, that's great.
10:04Would you like to do, uh, share one of your songs for all of us, maybe?
10:07Hey, not at all.
10:10No, I mean it in the way of, like, yeah, definitely.
10:13No, I'm really happy to do that, okay?
10:15Thank you, Jimmy.
10:16There you go, bud.
10:17Oh.
10:18God, Mike.
10:20Fighter.
10:22Okay, wow.
10:24Well, this one is called Late Night Ride, okay?
10:27Oh, wow.
10:30Caught a hitchhiking ride with a woman one day.
10:35She turned on the radio, and the radio played a song.
10:41This song.
10:43She's a super freak, super freak.
10:46She's a freaking, yeah.
10:50Everybody say, super freak, super freak.
10:53Hey, wait, wait, wait.
10:54Wait, wait, wait.
10:55Stop, stop.
10:56Hold on.
10:57What's going on, man?
10:58What's wrong?
10:59What are you, what are you doing?
11:00What, what, what's the problem, Jimmy?
11:02I don't understand.
11:03Tell me.
11:03That's super freak.
11:04That's super freak by Rick James.
11:06We, we can't even clear that.
11:07No, no, it's not, man.
11:09That is what happened.
11:10That's a song that came on in her car,
11:12and I just wrote about it, man.
11:13Come on.
11:15What are you doing?
11:16You can't just take a hit song
11:18and squeeze it into your song.
11:19How am I supposed to control
11:21the will of the airwaves, dude?
11:27I, I don't know.
11:28Yeah, yeah, you don't know,
11:30because I can't, man.
11:31Well, look.
11:32What?
11:33How about you try another song, maybe?
11:35I'll give you another shot.
11:35I'm sorry.
11:36Okay, I'm sorry, I'm sorry I blew up there.
11:38I'm sorry, I, I got a little upset as well.
11:42I told you, a ray of light, man.
11:44Now this next song, all right, all right, here we go.
11:47This one's, it's newer, okay, and it's,
11:50it's called Backyard with Mom.
11:53Oh.
11:57Last time I ever saw my mama,
12:01we threw her a party in the backyard.
12:06With lights on the fence,
12:08oh, that whole year was so hard.
12:40Mama sang her favorite song that night
12:41you're my favorite song now, man!
12:43I have nothing to do with...
12:45Come on, dude!
12:47What the frick is wrong with you, man?
12:50You, you, these songs,
12:52you're just describing ways
12:53that you've heard the song Super Freak.
12:56No, I'm not, dude.
12:57No, I'm not.
12:58It's my life.
12:59Okay?
13:00You can't just come in here
13:01and tell a guy what he can write inside a song
13:02even though that thing happened to him
13:04and then he had a guitar nearby.
13:05You came in here.
13:06I was already here.
13:08You came in here
13:08until you weren't born here, man.
13:10You had to have entered here at some point.
13:12Just like I entered this world from my mom!
13:12But I work here.
13:13This is my show.
13:14I host the show.
13:15So I'm here every night
13:16and I'm here to give you a chance.
13:18Some new talent.
13:19And you're, you're,
13:20I think you're abusing the privilege a little bit.
13:23Because you're, you're just singing.
13:25I entered this world from my mama.
13:30Okay?
13:30And I don't mean to abuse privileges
13:32and you're right, okay?
13:34Hey, buddy.
13:34Hey, buddy.
13:35Hey.
13:35Hey, palsy.
13:36Hey.
13:37Can we, can we just,
13:38can we just bury the hatchet on this?
13:40Yeah, I apologize.
13:41I'm sorry.
13:41Hey.
13:41Hey.
13:42No, you don't have to come over.
13:43No, no, no.
13:44That's all right.
13:45All right, so.
13:46Yeah.
13:46All right, man.
13:46Y'all.
13:48Thank you very much.
13:49Hey, is there any way you could do one,
13:51like maybe some,
13:52one of the original songs that you submitted
13:54that got you on Tomorrow's Stars Today?
13:56That's the one we liked.
13:57We only heard a snippet of it,
13:58but, right?
13:59We would like to hear maybe one song.
14:04That is a,
14:05that's a great idea, man.
14:06Okay, perfect.
14:07All right.
14:09Okay.
14:10This song is called Summer Day.
14:12Oh.
14:22I remember that summer day
14:26when we dropped a coin in the wishing well
14:34and felt swell and free.
14:39And when that coin hit the water,
14:42it sounded like a song we knew.
14:46No, no, no, no.
14:47Please stop.
14:47Don't do it.
14:48Don't do it.
14:50Don't, don't, don't.
14:53I'm serious.
14:54Don't, don't.
14:54You're all going to make sure.
14:55I mean, don't.
14:56I'm going to freak out.
14:57And that song that we heard
14:59through mama's screen door.
15:02Yeah, that's close.
15:03The song that we'd all heard
15:06many, many times before.
15:10And that name of that song was
15:40Maybe you're going to be back
15:41voicing Princess Fiona?
15:43I am.
15:45Woo!
15:47Yeah.
15:48This is what I'm talking about.
15:51You're Queen Fiona.
15:52Oh.
15:54I forgot about that.
15:55I'm no longer Princess Fiona.
15:57Yeah, you're Queen Fiona.
15:57You will address me as such.
15:59Come here.
15:59Sorry, I apologize.
16:00Yes.
16:11Our first guest
16:12is a very talented actress
16:14actress who stars in the new movie
16:16Outcome, which premieres on Apple TV
16:18April 10th.
16:19Please welcome Cameron Diaz.
16:46Welcome back.
16:48Welcome back to the show.
16:49Hey, Brent. How are you?
16:49I know you're in New York shooting a movie and you brought the great weather.
16:54It's because of you.
16:55Yeah.
16:56This is, yes, it is.
16:57This is like so aggressive, this weather.
17:00Yeah, it's interesting, right?
17:01It just came out of nowhere and it's just like so oppressive.
17:05So, what movie are you doing?
17:07Can you tell us any details?
17:08I'm doing a movie with Stephen Merchant.
17:10I love Stephen Merchant!
17:12He's so great.
17:13He's so funny, man.
17:14He's so funny.
17:15Gosh.
17:15He's the best.
17:15He's so great.
17:16So, yeah.
17:17Oh, brilliant.
17:17I'm doing a film here with him.
17:19I don't know the name of it yet.
17:22Oh, yeah.
17:23All right.
17:23Perfect.
17:24Yeah.
17:24When you have a name, you have to come back and tell us.
17:26Let you guys know.
17:27Because you took a little break from acting.
17:31Then you came back with this giant movie, Back in Action, one of Netflix's biggest movies
17:35of the year.
17:35Congratulations.
17:36On that.
17:39Broke records.
17:41And now I heard rumor that maybe you're going to be back voicing Princess Fiona.
17:45I am.
17:46Yeah.
17:47Woo!
17:49Yeah.
17:50This is what I'm talking about.
17:53Yeah.
17:54A new Shrek movie.
17:55We're doing the fifth Shrek.
17:56Yes.
17:57Can you believe it?
17:57That's fantastic.
17:58Two decades of Fiona.
17:59What's that?
18:00You're Queen Fiona.
18:02Oh.
18:03I forgot about that.
18:05I'm no longer Princess Fiona.
18:06Yeah, you're Queen Fiona.
18:07You will address me as such.
18:08Sorry, I apologize.
18:10Yes.
18:11I scolded a lot on my show tonight.
18:13But I was going to ask you, do kids come up and freak out when they hear your voice at
18:16the
18:17grocery store or something?
18:17You know, it's really funny because parents are the ones who are like, honey, this is
18:23Princess Fiona.
18:24She does the voice for Princess Fiona.
18:25And one time this little girl, she just looked at me and burst into tears.
18:31She just started crying.
18:33So she's like bawling her eyes out.
18:34And her mom's like, I'm so sorry.
18:36I'm like, I really don't take it personally.
18:39I would cry if I found out the voice of, like...
18:41They don't quite understand.
18:42They don't quite understand.
18:43So I always tell parents, like, don't tell them.
18:45Don't tell them that.
18:46Yeah.
18:47You know, it's like Santa Claus, right?
18:49But you do everything.
18:50You do romantic comedies.
18:52You do animation.
18:53You do dramas.
18:54Is there a genre that you haven't done that you want to do?
18:57What's your dream job?
18:58I think, um, you know, you know what?
19:02I've always wanted to do...
19:04What?
19:05Like a season on SNL.
19:07Like a full season on SNL.
19:09Like from the beginning to the end, like just become a cast member on...
19:13Drew and I talked about it like 20 years ago, but like doing a full season on...
19:17You would be fantastic.
19:18Like doing a full season on, as a cast member on SNL would be so much fun.
19:21I think the first time I met you was when you hosted SNL.
19:24Yeah, yeah.
19:24And you were fantastic.
19:26It was so much fun.
19:26I mean, I wouldn't host, I'd be like, you know...
19:28Just a cast member.
19:29Just a cast member.
19:30Ooh, Lauren.
19:31Lauren!
19:33We like this.
19:34We do so much.
19:34The audience like this idea.
19:36But I'm so tired now.
19:38I don't think I could do it.
19:39No, you could.
19:40Please.
19:41And by the way, congrats on your wine, by the way.
19:44Abilene is crushing.
19:45Are you learning so much about it in the whole scene?
19:48Yeah, I mean, it's...
19:49Winemaking is a science.
19:51It is.
19:51It's amazing.
19:52It's just...
19:53It's chemistry.
19:54Yeah.
19:54You know, it's just...
19:55You do one thing, you get one result.
19:57You do another thing, you get another.
19:59And it's just sort of mad scientist.
20:01But the winemakers are so incredible.
20:03Well, congrats on this.
20:04It's his fifth birthday.
20:05So happy birthday to Abilene.
20:07Great, great, great wine.
20:08I love it.
20:09But let's talk to your new movie.
20:11Okay.
20:11Outcome is the name of the movie.
20:13It's very funny.
20:14It's also very intense.
20:16It's co-written by Jonah Hill, our buddy.
20:18And directed by Jonah Hill, who we love.
20:20We love.
20:20How do we set up what the movie is and who you play?
20:22Keanu plays a character that's...
20:26His character is a movie star.
20:28Oh.
20:29Named Reeve Hawk.
20:30Yeah, a great name.
20:31And it's a great name.
20:32Reeve Hawk.
20:32And he's going through this...
20:36Something happens where he's basically...
20:39Gets a phone call that is life-changing.
20:43That could really hurt his career.
20:46Yeah.
20:46And I play along with Matt Bomer, his best friend.
20:51Oh, he's so good.
20:51I know Matt's incredible.
20:52Yeah, he crushes in this.
20:53We play his best friends since, like, before he was a star.
20:56Like, he was a child star.
20:58Yeah.
20:58But we've known him since he was, like, you know, a young teen.
21:02So you can talk.
21:02So we've been in it, you know, our whole lives together, basically.
21:07But these characters are loosely based on Jonah's real friends.
21:10Yes, actually, completely.
21:11So Ezra Woods, who also was one of the writers on it, is Matt Bomer's character.
21:17And mine is Kyle Applebaum, who is Kyle Applebaum, who is, like, Jonah's friend.
21:23Yes.
21:23It's not your first time working with Keanu.
21:25It's not.
21:26No, I worked with Keanu.
21:27You did a movie called Feeling Minnesota back in 1996.
21:3130 years ago.
21:32Come on.
21:35Look at this.
21:37Do you remember First Impression?
21:39That was my fourth film, and I was working with Keanu Reeves, and I was so, I was so green.
21:45I was literally, like, oh, my God, please don't remember that we were together 30 years ago.
21:50Even though I've seen him since.
21:51I'm like, please don't remember.
21:52But, um...
21:53Did he remember?
21:54He did.
21:54Isn't that so crazy?
21:56What did he say?
21:57He's like, hey, I don't want to do that.
21:58You know what I really...
21:59Keanu's just a lovely human being.
22:01He's exactly the same.
22:02He still hits the three shot.
22:05You know, he's a...
22:05We play basketball together.
22:08He's got a great three-pointer, and I'm up to dunking now.
22:12Oh, wow.
22:13Congratulations.
22:13Oh, my gosh.
22:15It's good to see you guys.
22:16We just get out on the court together, and we just, like...
22:18Yeah.
22:19Yeah, it's just, like, old times.
22:20It's magic.
22:21It's fun to watch.
22:22I want to show everyone a clip.
22:23Here's Cameron Diaz in Outcome.
22:24Take a look at this.
22:25How are you going to frame the five years thing?
22:27Also, I should literally be a famous-ass interviewer.
22:31Even when I'm fake interviewing, I'm, like, incredible at it.
22:34Incredible.
22:35So, what are you going to say about the five years thing?
22:38Well, I was thinking I was going to say...
22:41I've been working since I was six, and needed a break,
22:45and that I needed to find out who I was away from all this.
22:50I love that.
22:51That works, totally.
22:52I won't say that I was hiding a heroin addiction from the public,
22:58and that my best friends from high school and my insane lawyer
23:02have me covered up for years, so no one ever found out.
23:06That is a really smart omission.
23:07Strong omission.
23:08No admish.
23:09You're going to be amazing, babe.
23:10You got this.
23:11Yeah.
23:11I'm very lucky to have you, too.
23:13That's a good omission, not admish.
23:16Cameron Diaz, everybody.
23:17Outcome premieres on Apple TV April 10th.
23:21Cameron and I are doing something fun after the break.
23:24Stick around, everybody.
23:29This is where I ended up on the bench at, like, a gorgeous fashion show
23:34where everyone's looking...
23:36Show the picture.
23:37Can you see what's going on?
23:48Welcome back.
23:48We're hanging out with the one and only Cameron Diaz!
23:55Now, Cameron, I thought it would be fun for us to play a game
23:58that I know you're going to be great at.
24:00It is called Slow Turn, Tiny Nod.
24:04Slow turn, tiny nod.
24:10Okay, the game is very simple.
24:13One at a time, while maintaining the utmost composure,
24:16we will very slowly turn our heads and look into the camera
24:19and do the tiniest head nod possible.
24:22Whoever does the tinier nod wins.
24:26And you're not allowed to laugh.
24:30Cameron, since you're...
24:32I don't find it funny.
24:33You're my guest.
24:36That's already making me laugh.
24:37Since you're my guest, you'll be turning first.
24:39Are you ready?
24:40Are you in character?
24:41Whenever you're ready, can we dim the lights?
24:43And you'll turn to camera one.
25:06It's a masterclass!
25:09It's a masterclass!
25:18All right, very good, Cameron.
25:21Okay, here we go.
25:22Look me in the eye, Jeremy, before you go.
25:24I know.
25:25I know, I know, I know.
25:26It's only fair.
25:27You did look me in the eye.
25:28But you're a pro.
25:28Okay, here we go.
25:36I know.
26:04It's just like a really big knot.
26:06I'm exhausting.
26:07That was a big, that was a tiny knot.
26:08That was, like, a gigantic knot.
26:11I have a big head.
26:12I have a big head.
26:12That is tiny from my size head.
26:14It's a tiny knot.
26:16But here we go.
26:17We're going to raise the stakes a little bit in round two.
26:19Round two, you must turn your head even more slowly,
26:22look into the camera, flare your nostrils twice,
26:26and then do a tiny knot.
26:28I don't know how to flare my nostrils.
26:30Oh, well, you have to try it.
26:34You have to flare your nostrils.
26:36You can't flare your nostrils?
26:36I can't flare my nostrils.
26:37Well, you have to do some type of...
26:39I'll do something.
26:40Okay.
26:40I'll do something.
26:41Okay.
26:43Can we dim the lights and get ready for round two?
26:47Okay.
26:52Wow.
26:53Just lower the...
27:05I don't even know if I can do that.
27:07I like that, babe.
27:08I can't do that.
27:09All right.
27:10It's something.
27:10It's something there.
27:11All right, that was impressive.
27:12Here we go.
27:12Can we dim the lights?
27:13I'm ready in the character.
27:14I'm ready.
27:15Still going to that camera?
27:16Get ready.
27:43That was hard.
27:44That was hard.
27:44I didn't want to move my body.
27:47Round three.
27:48The sound of someone saying round three means it's time for round three.
27:53Cameron, I'm going to make this a little harder for our final round.
27:55For this last one, you must now somehow turn your head even more slowly, look into the camera,
27:59and make the tiniest sound you could possibly make, and then nod.
28:04It's going to take a long time, because I've been taking a long time, haven't I?
28:07No, this is perfect.
28:08No, we're going into the...
28:09Uber slow.
28:10We're going over with The Tonight Show tonight.
28:12We're going straight into The Tonight Show.
28:15Here we go.
28:16It's a 24-7 sleepover.
28:18Here we go.
28:19All right.
28:19Get in character.
28:20I won't look at you.
28:22It doesn't matter.
28:23I had a massage earlier, so, like, I'm already...
28:26Okay, so you're loose.
28:38This is the slowest one yet.
28:43Oh, my goodness.
28:59We really got an audio on that.
29:01There's no topping that.
29:02That's how you do it.
29:03The winner.
29:03Cameron Diaz.
29:05That was a bit of a note in the video.
29:10Outcome premieres April 10th on Apple TV.
29:12We'll be right back with more The Tonight Show, everybody.
29:15That is so fun.
29:32Our next guest is an Emmy-winning actor and producer who created and stars in the new series Big
29:38Mistakes, which begins streaming April 9th on Netflix.
29:41Please welcome Dan Levy.
29:53That's what I'm talking about.
29:55Come on, go.
29:58Welcome back.
29:59I'm so happy to be here.
30:00Dan Levy.
30:01I'm so happy to see you.
30:01I'm so happy to be here.
30:03Hi, everybody.
30:04Come on.
30:04Yeah, Dan Levy.
30:06Come on.
30:07Welcome back.
30:08I always love seeing you.
30:09Always love seeing you.
30:10You're a great follow on the social medias.
30:13I follow you and I like seeing what you're up to.
30:16I know that you're into fashion.
30:18I like, yeah, yeah.
30:20I pay attention to it.
30:20You posted this.
30:21You were at a Celine show.
30:22Oh, there we go.
30:23And this.
30:24That's a little Schitt's Creek reunion there.
30:26It is.
30:27David and Stevie have never looked better.
30:29I mean, gosh, you're a good looking guy right there.
30:31I find myself in very uncomfortable situations at those things, though.
30:34It's not as glamorous as you would think by watching.
30:36I mean, you look at it and you're like, yeah, it's a fashion show.
30:39It is.
30:39It's great.
30:40Yeah.
30:40I just haven't.
30:42I don't know.
30:43You don't have good luck with them.
30:43I don't have good luck.
30:44You brought us another example to show this is a photo.
30:47So the front would normally look like this and you look cool.
30:50Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
30:51I was sitting on a bench.
30:52I'm Canadian.
30:53So I'll just agree to anything.
30:55So you're sitting on a bench.
30:56Someone was like, can someone sit down?
30:57Can you move down?
30:58Yes.
30:59Someone else is sitting down.
31:00Can you move down?
31:01Absolutely.
31:01Someone else is sitting down.
31:02Can you move down?
31:04This is where I ended up on the bench at like a gorgeous fashion show where everyone's looking.
31:10Show the picture.
31:12Can you see what's going on?
31:14Can we actually zoom into my ass?
31:18Are you floating?
31:19This was a Loewe fashion show.
31:22How are you doing that?
31:22This was my hottest brand in the world.
31:25That's a lot of core strength.
31:27That is a full cheek off the bench.
31:29Wow.
31:29And I was sitting beside this like incredible K-pop star.
31:33I was in awe and could not have been more uncomfortable.
31:37So then over the course of this fashion show, if you actually do like sit half on a chair,
31:43I found myself having to like prop myself up.
31:47So my friend, meanwhile, is behind me taking these photos, laughing his ass off.
31:52Hold on.
31:52Here we go.
31:53Yeah, so the hand comes out.
31:55I'm now trembling.
31:58The show isn't ending.
32:00It's like gorgeous model after gorgeous model.
32:03And you're like...
32:04Quaking.
32:05Yes.
32:05Quaking.
32:06Quaking.
32:06And then finally, the leg comes out to like reinforce the fact that half my ass is hanging off the
32:15seat.
32:15What an evolution.
32:17You are...
32:17That is...
32:17You go home and everyone's like, so how was it?
32:21Was it fabulous?
32:21And I was like, yeah, it was.
32:24You loved it.
32:24Clothes were really good.
32:25You loved it that much.
32:26Couldn't remember a thing.
32:27Yeah, so that's what you do for fashion.
32:29You do a lot for fashion.
32:33Dan, I think the first time you came on our show was with the cast of Schitt's Creek.
32:37That's right.
32:37And you were here.
32:40An amazing cast, and I appreciate you doing that.
32:43And I think it was Catherine Rojera was on as well.
32:47And I'm just got to say, I'm so sorry about the passing.
32:49Gosh, you must have been...
32:51It's...
32:51Listen, it's like a collective loss, I think.
32:55Yeah.
32:55She was the greatest.
32:57She's unbelievable.
32:58She's irreplaceable.
33:00And, you know, I think the great comfort for me has just been to see how loved she was.
33:07You know what I mean?
33:07She really was.
33:08The outpouring, everyone felt like they kind of knew her.
33:12She could do everything.
33:13She was one of the funniest comedians I've ever seen.
33:15Absolutely.
33:16Can do characters.
33:17Unbelievably.
33:18She's gorgeous.
33:19Talented, improvising.
33:20One of the great, great, great, great, great...
33:22Yeah.
33:22I always loved her.
33:26I want to talk about your new show.
33:28It's called Big Mistakes.
33:30Yeah.
33:30And it's, yes, it's very, very, very funny.
33:33It has a very funny premise that stems from, I read, a real phobia that you have.
33:38I have an irrational fear of being blackmailed into organized crime.
33:42Okay.
33:44We can relate.
33:45A lot of people can relate.
33:45I don't know how.
33:46I don't know why.
33:47But if you really think about it, would you want to be blackmailed into organized crime?
33:51No, I would not.
33:52I have a phobia, too, I guess.
33:53I mean, I wouldn't do well.
33:55So when you're writing a show, you almost kind of have to think about, like, okay, well,
33:59what's the worst case scenario that you would want to find yourself in?
34:02And it's this.
34:03And I am, my character is just as incapable as I would be if I were to find myself blackmailed
34:08into organized crime.
34:10It's perfectly...
34:10Instantly killed.
34:11Yeah.
34:12Like, 45 seconds into meeting me, these people would...
34:16Just off you.
34:17Yeah, and you came up with the idea with Rachel Sennett.
34:19That's right.
34:20Who, gosh, is so funny.
34:21Funniest.
34:21And one of the freshest voices in comedy.
34:23She's great.
34:23And what a cast, by the way.
34:25Laurie Metcalf.
34:25Laurie Metcalf.
34:26Had me screaming out loud laughing.
34:28She's unbelievably funny.
34:30And, like, I've just admired her my whole life.
34:34Gosh.
34:34And never in a million years did I think she'd say yes.
34:37And then the minute you have Laurie Metcalf on your show, you're like, well, I guess the rest's
34:41rights itself.
34:42But I couldn't keep a straight face.
34:44The scenes are unbelievable.
34:45We couldn't keep a straight face.
34:46We were in the scenes.
34:47And I learned this on Schitt's Creek.
34:49Yeah.
34:49Sometimes you just have to go with the laughter and let your character also find the person
34:55amusing.
34:56Oh, my God.
34:57It's a way of making yourself look a little bit more professional.
34:59Yeah.
35:00Thank you for that tip.
35:01I want to show everyone a clip.
35:02You're going to love this show.
35:03Here's Dan Levy in Big Mistakes.
35:05Take a look.
35:06What do you want for your birthday from Nicholas and Morgan?
35:10Who are they?
35:11Oh, my God.
35:11That's a good question, Nona.
35:13Your father gave me a necklace in Acapulco that you lost on your honeymoon.
35:20We know.
35:21Get your Nona necklace.
35:22It was a diamond necklace.
35:25Nona, I'm a public school teacher.
35:28Okay, Morgan, the woman doesn't know who we are.
35:30I don't think she cares if it's real diamonds.
35:32Yeah, I know what I mean.
35:32Just something cheap and nostalgic that she can cherish during her final days.
35:37Is that so much to ask?
35:38Nikki, help your sister with this for once.
35:41For once.
35:41All right, do a good deed for me.
35:43Come on.
35:45Dan Levy, Big Mistakes begins streaming April 9th on Netflix.
35:51We'll be right back with a performance from Thames.
35:53Stick around.
35:56Stick around.
36:06Performing what you need from her EP, Love is a Kingdom, please welcome Thames.
36:13Please welcome Thames.
36:34Okay, now sometimes...
36:37You find yourself in two ways
36:40Yeah, yeah, yeah
36:43Sometimes
36:46Your love, it feels divided
36:50And my answer
36:54My answer is to pull out
36:58Your love is like an embassy
37:03It won't lead me to anywhere
37:08But I'm so confused
37:12Through all the pain and suffering
37:16You still want to stay with me
37:20I'm tired of these crises
37:24And I feel like I'm being a dog
37:28I know what you need
37:33I know what you need
37:37I know what you need
37:41Get away from me
37:45I know what you need
37:49I know what you need
37:53I know what you need
38:24I need to be alone now
38:36I know what you need
38:41I know what you need
38:45I know what you need
39:01I know what you need
39:16I know what you need
39:20I know what you need
39:24I know what you need
39:28I know what you need
39:41I know what you need
39:47Oh my God
39:48Yes
39:50Come on
39:51That is how you do it
39:53Come on
