00:03Wow oh my god families across Australia are drowning in clutter
00:13this is what we took out of your house all of them are desperate for help clutter is
00:22anything that gets between you and the life you want to live Peter Walsh frees them from the stuff
00:30holding them back yes while Cherie Barber renovates their homes in record time
00:40and Angie Kent brings much loved treasures back to life it gives me goosebumps
00:50oh it's the greatest oh my god transformation amazing of their lives
01:09married couple Sarah and Steve met eight years ago when they're in their mid-30s
01:14it was a whirlwind romance 12 months after meeting we bought a house and 12 months after that we got
01:21pregnant with Jack and then pregnant with the twins but Zoe and James were born so premature
01:29they nearly didn't make it that was so tiny they were like 700 grams the size of your hand
01:37having two sick kids in hospital and then also trying to get home to Jack was really hard
01:44after years of hospital treatments and therapies both James and Zoe are now thriving as is their
01:51brother Jack but the family's traumatic past has left a legacy that's causing friction in the home
02:00the clutter wasn't a priority when the twins were in hospital so it just kept growing
02:07everything we've got a whole heap of just stuff everywhere really Sarah says it's all mine and I say
02:14that it's not there's a lot of kids stuff a lot of household stuff and the garage is chock-a
02:20-block the
02:22clutter drives me bananas I can get quite fired up about it it doesn't bother Steve so it's caused many
02:31arguments over the years I don't want to live like this for the rest of my life I don't want
02:36my kids
02:36to grow up in a house that's cluttered and for them to think this is the norm
02:50raising young kids can be exhausting especially when they've had serious health issues add to that a
02:57couple who don't see eye-to-eye on their clutter and it's clear Steve and Sarah need our help
03:02hey how are you good and she's not with us she's going to join us a little later on okay
03:09so we hear
03:10there's a bit of a clutter issue going on yes where should we start in the garage so down the
03:16way let's check it out all right ready yep whoa wow so I'm seeing a lot of different stuff I
03:31see gym
03:32gear yep pool gear yeah you got a ton of tradie stuff that's your business yep every house it gets
03:38built
03:3812 months later they do an inspection got any defects I go in and fix so you're the guy who
03:44keeps everything
03:45he ever worked on ah sort of yeah I say something that sparked my interest being the car buff that
03:53I am what's under this sheet that's my baby that's my car yes yep when was the last time you
04:02drove it
04:02oh year and a half maybe with how hectic it's been with the kids everything's kind of been pushed aside
04:09and left for a while okay so instead of enthusiasm about this space it feels like there's a bit of
04:16almost sadness yeah it's a where do I start sort of thing now because everything's just been thrown in
04:22and yeah a bit overwhelming to get started Sarah what do you think when you look at this space disappointment
04:30a bit of embarrassment frustration but this can't really have a renovation can it I can't renovate it
04:35it's brand new you can't plasterboard this in and trick it up okay so what's needed is a decluttering
04:42and an organization so we can we can do that in my experience it's rare for this much clutter to
04:50be
04:50contained to just one space and sure enough when we enter the house and walk into the first bedroom
04:57there it is okay we're hit by another wave of clutter
05:05this room is so full it looks more like a storage unit than a bedroom for their five-year-old
05:11son Jack
05:11so what's in here Christmas tree kids toys car seats clutter basically
05:20I presume Jack doesn't sleep in this room no Jack would say I mean there's too many things too
05:26many shadows in my room okay and he's been in our room ever since okay so this is not used
05:33at the
05:33moment where are the twins James and Zoe sleeping next door okay let's check that out
05:44okay definitely a kid's room a very lived in kids room all right so we got a boy and a
05:51girl
05:51yes the twins right yes okay how old are they four and Jack is five yes yeah do you think
05:57Zoe would
05:57like her own room yeah I think so for a kid's room this is pretty dull and boring so besides
06:05swapping
06:05around who sleeps where I've got some exciting ideas on how to make both rooms a lot more fun
06:11you stay here concocting we're going to check out the master bedroom come on guys let's have a look
06:21okay that's Jack's bed wow how long has that been there oh yeah a good couple of years
06:29who's running the house you guys or the kids yeah well the kids at the moment
06:33okay and that's not a surprise because you guys have come kind of through through the wars with
06:40the kids the twins were born at 25 weeks and two days they were very premature and very very sick
06:48they nearly died Zoe spent 121 days and James spent 129 days in the neonatal intensive care unit
06:57in special care but even after they came home James had such a weakened immune system and such
07:05a weakened respiratory system that he was readmitted six times to hospital but with a lot of different
07:12therapies and supports they've come such a long way and they are kicking goals but it was a very big
07:18long
07:19traumatic journey for us all the kids are in every facet of the house so our little sanctuary is non
07:27-existent
07:27so where do you escape to nowhere really yeah yeah no are you even able to be intimate in this
07:37space
07:38really no not really there has to be a kid-free zone in your home and this is it we
07:49need to get
07:50romance back in this space we do yeah yeah that's why we're here yeah ready to go yep we're gonna
07:58get
07:58going let's get started okay good to get Sarah and Steve's relationship back on track all their
08:10belongings must be packed up and removed from the house the task ahead does seem daunting it's gonna
08:17bring up a lot of memories from the twins when they were very little and very sick and probably
08:23strike a few nerves with Steve and I I know it's gonna be a lot to go through
08:30coming up while Cherie rips into the reno Sarah's frustration grows as Steve resists letting things
08:39go are you going to use these things or not yeah good question
08:51Peter and the team are packing up the last of Sarah and Steve's belongings
08:58the mountains of clutter engulfing their home has strained the couple's relationship
09:03while raising son Jack and twins Zoe and James who faced huge health battles when they were born
09:09prematurely with the last van loaded up the family's things head off to a warehouse for sorting
09:19while Cherie's arranged for Steve's car to be sent to a secure storage unit like Steve I love classic
09:28cars I have my own gorgeous 1956 Chevy and wouldn't want anything to happen to it so we're going to
09:34keep Steve's car safe from damage during the reno
09:43at the space invaders warehouse
09:48as the family's items are laid out and arranged into categories Angie arrives to search for treasure
09:57what a find this beautiful old chest has an intriguing clue about its history and could
10:03be a precious family heirloom plus I've uncovered some cool old-school toys and photos and a special
10:10collection of mementos from when the twins were born I can't wait to meet Sarah and Steve and discover
10:16the stories behind these treasures
10:23okay good keep walking good this couple is still carrying the pain and trauma of looking after their
10:30premature twins and it's all tied up with holding on to too much stuff so Sarah and Steve must confront
10:37both their physical and emotional clutter to cull at least 70 of what's here so they can restore
10:44harmony to their home and their marriage one two three open your eyes
11:03wow that's a lot of stuff just a bit oh my god
11:12all of this took us more than 140 boxes to get from your home to here oh my goodness oh
11:21my goodness
11:24yeah I want to show you what you have here okay here we go first up we have these 12
11:30tables
11:30here and behind me of items we bought from the garage then in this row here we have sporting
11:39equipment electronics memorabilia on this table here we have more than 450 items of kids clothing
11:52right here in front of me this long row and this long row plus six hanging racks are your clothes
12:01out of
12:01your bedroom then running down here on the wall and on these tables more than 1500 toys
12:13for three kids huge number
12:26what's happening Sarah it's just the kids stuff I don't know I feeling like a failing parent buy things buy
12:36things make the kids happy don't you dare stand here and say that too much
12:45absolutely but failure no thank you but this is confronting oh yeah it is very confronting
12:58but that's why we're here we're going to get rid of the anxiety we're going to get rid of the
13:04sense of
13:04feeling overwhelmed yeah let's go come with me oh over at the cleared out house Cherie is planning her
13:13ambitious two-day renovation with a super tight budget the family sleeping arrangements have become
13:19pretty dysfunctional so I need to shuffle things around to transform Steve and Sarah's bedroom into
13:26a relaxing parents retreat five-year-old Jack's bed has got to go so the dull and boring room James
13:33and
13:33Zoe currently share will be turned into a fun bedroom for the two boys and the space being
13:39used to store clutter will be reborn as the ultimate little girls room for four-year-old Zoe while the
13:46garage doesn't need renovating I do want to add much-needed storage to keep things nice and organized
13:56as the demolition phase gets underway the paint crew gets started by freshening up the ceilings and
14:02architecture trays yep and in the main bedroom Cherie's dealing with a design challenge to luxe up
14:11this bland room I want to create a stylish feature wall but that big ugly air con was smack bang
14:17in the
14:17wrong spot so we've ripped that out and I'm moving it to the opposite side of the room and we
14:23can begin
14:24constructing a timber frame for a new alcove shelf that will sit in front of the old wall it's a
14:30big job
14:31but it'll create a beautiful boutique hotel vibe that I really hope Steve and Sarah will love
14:40I'd like to keep that what do we got here these are footy trip tops where were all these hiding
14:45probably in the back of my closet okay I've never seen them before oh really yeah back at the
14:50warehouse Steve's struggling to let go of tables full of his belongings even though they've been buried
14:56amongst clutter for years are you keeping this it's a tough one don't really want to get rid of them
15:04make some decisions come on um all right let it go
15:10would probably like to keep that
15:14Sarah's desperate to reclaim space in the family home and I can see her frustration building with
15:20every item Steve decides to keep um they're part of that okay where are these going to live yeah good
15:28question um I don't know let's be realistic are you going to use these things or not because look
15:37around at how much stuff you have having been through the last few years what's important to you now
15:46family and kids yeah so that's what has to be important moving forward because at the moment
15:52all this stuff is just driving a wedge between the two of you
15:57so is it going to go keep the black one but the gray one can go okay so let's keep
16:04moving it's clear
16:05Steve's not thrilled that I'm challenging him but it's my job to push him and Sarah out of the unhappy
16:12place they're in right now ah they could go not that I want them to is this staying or going
16:20unfortunately go okay we don't need this nice job when we started we had these tables completely
16:29covered in stuff we now have six boxes off to donation yeah feeling like we've made a good start
16:35yeah Steve yeah we have managed to reduce the number of items but Sarah and Steve still aren't
16:43working together with a shared goal there's still a warehouse full of stuff to get through and if I
16:50can't get this couple under the same page we could be in real trouble lots more to do come with
16:55me
16:55yeah let's go good coming up Angie discovers the emotional story behind Steve's vintage toys
17:03so this is a prized possession yeah oh my god and will Cherie's hopes of finishing the reno on time
17:12being washed away at Steve and Sarah's house the army of tradies are hard at work
17:25with the air con in the main bedroom being hooked up in its new position and the unusable room once
17:31filled with clutter is now being transformed into a bedroom for four-year-old Zoe I reckon it'll be
17:38somewhere about there Zoe absolutely loves pink so we're installing this beautiful glossy pendant
17:45light to anchor my design and painting the walls a complimentary shade
17:51and on the wall behind the bed we're putting up oak colored panels to add warmth and texture
17:57but the really big eye-catching feature will be cute whimsical wallpaper to keep things young
18:03and fun while the wallpaper goes up Cherie's out shopping for furniture to suit James and Jack's
18:11new room the old kids bedroom had two tiny beds so I want to replace them with full-size singles
18:17that
18:18will still fit the small room and last the boys into their teens so with this bed you've got quite
18:24a lot
18:24of extra storage in the headboard oh that's so good you'll also see on the side you've actually got
18:28USB charging and an LED light so you can charge games iPads and phones eventually as they get older
18:34perfect
18:42at the warehouse are you surprised at the sheer volume of this yes
18:49Sarah now needs to cull the hundreds of clothes belonging to four-year-old twins James and Zoe and
18:55five-year-old Jack uh keep okay that's a keep go good oh
19:05these are their little suits and we got married and Zoe's little dress oh cute they were so small
19:14and that's how you remember them isn't it from the moment they were born even yeah what was the scariest
19:21moment
19:22the morning after Zoe was born I had two doctors and a nurse saying
19:29Zoe had a collapsed lung and it'll be touch and go for the next week
19:34and then James was not being able to get off the ventilator
19:38um I remember just holding them both and saying we're all getting out here I'm not leaving without
19:45either of you
19:51so what effect does that had on all of this potentially the excitement that we've got this
20:01far that we've made it through so many stages of clothing sizes as well totally understandable
20:08you had to lean into something to help but now it's time to lean out of this because your kids
20:14are okay yes you've come through it yeah it's a new day as parents Sarah and Steve have been to
20:23hell and
20:24back but now we need to close that traumatic chapter deal with all this stuff and focus on the future
20:31so
20:32these are definitely staying okay great um go go keep
20:39Peter has helped so much I've had I guess a lot of nerves and some emotions that I've kept
20:47pretty well hidden for a few years now um go I think I've just kept going for so long that
20:54to have the emotions come up today was actually quite cathartic go go keep great job now look what
21:02we have Zoe's James and Jack and we have eight boxes going off to donation every time a box fills
21:11it's lighter and lighter I love that great job we have more to do let's go come with me
21:18up stairs Angie is keen to meet Steve and find out more about the photos and vintage toys she
21:25discovered buried amongst the clutter so I heard you've got quite the classic car yes is this it no
21:35that is me on the back of my parents car from when we were kids okay my parents got rid
21:41of it when I was
21:42about 15 and then when I had enough money I went and chased one down and got one restored exactly
21:46the same because you loved it so much because I loved it so much good okay so this is the
21:50original
21:51yep and who are these little cuties that's my brothers Robbie who passed away and my younger brother
21:58David Robbie got diagnosed with leukaemia about the age of eight we did a bone marrow transplant I was
22:06the donor and how old were you 10 11 12 and then they tried it on your brother then they
22:12tried it
22:13on my brother and it supposedly worked but then in the end it didn't that's a huge thing for you
22:19to go
22:19through as a kid yep and I found these are these little special ones they look a bit old-school
22:27yes
22:27they are they were Robbie's so he had those in his bedroom oh beautiful kept them and then gave these
22:35ones
22:35to me so this is a prized possession yeah these vintage toys and family photos have huge sentimental
22:43value but they've been hidden away for far too long so I'm going to create a display for these
22:49treasures in Steve's garage so these special memories can live on over at Steve and Sarah's house it's a
23:00hive of activity with the main bedrooms new feature wall rapidly coming together decorative panels to go
23:09over the plasterboard can be installed I've used rounded panels in Zoe's room for a fun playful look
23:16but I'm going with the square edge profile in Sarah and Steve's bedroom to give it a modern sophisticated
23:22feel not only are they quick to install but as they're pre-primed we can start painting as soon as
23:38Sarah up while the crew paint the panels and walls dark gray to help create the stylish hotel vibe I'm
23:44going for I'm ordering a matching rug that'll feel cozy and soft underfoot
23:57down the hallway in the new bedroom for brothers Jack and James oh look at that gap Cherise noticed a
24:03problem with the wardrobe doors she says probably carpet there at some stage it is a big gap yeah I
24:09can't leave it like that I can see this issue is also present in the other bedrooms so we've got
24:14to
24:15remove all the doors cut extra lengths of timber and add them to the bottom so we can close the
24:21odd-looking gaps between the doors and the floor oh my god but suddenly the weather turns and work
24:32outside comes to a standstill that's a rope we can't use any power tools in the raid so hopefully it
24:40will pass
24:40quickly so we don't fall behind schedule coming up so it's a proper treasure yes Angie uncovers the old
24:55chests epic tale guys thank you for coming today and will Steve and Sarah's kids cope with letting their
25:03toys go so what do you think of these keep that okay Peter's now helping Steve reduce the huge
25:16number of items which were clogging the family's garage golf balls I'd like to use them Steve's dream
25:26is to have an organized garage with room for building materials needed for his job and access
25:31to his classic car they're very expensive keep those this one's empty but he's having real trouble
25:39getting rid of surplus stuff has the garage been a source of friction for you and Sarah yeah because
25:46Sarah doesn't like the fact that it's got that amount of stuff in it but I've always had the mentality
25:51I'll
25:52keep the stuff because with my line of work I can use that down the track that's the thing that
25:57people
25:58get caught up in that I'm saving money over here in one sense but what's it been costing you in
26:05terms
26:05of space or harmony in your house yeah it's been costing us the relationship between me and Sarah just
26:13not being happy and I'm not happy with the space because I can't use it so how will decluttering help
26:21you
26:21it'll get rid of the friction okay and make home life a lot easier and that's a step in the
26:27right
26:27direction with his family's happiness now front of mind I'm hoping Steve will be able to make quick
26:33decisions about what's needed and what's not so this is jewels good no I can go I don't use it
26:39good
26:42while Steve eliminates everything he doesn't use I'm grouping like items together so when they go back
26:48into the garage it'll all be organized okay great job so initially these whole two rows were completely
26:57covered now we have seven categories yeah clearly defined and we have more than a dozen boxes going
27:04off to either donation or to be properly disposed of yeah okay good I'm happy to have gotten rid of
27:11yeah the excess clutter we've got more stuff to do come with me cool good while Peter and Steve
27:18continue sorting through items Sarah is upstairs meeting Angie who's excited to find out more about
27:25the chest and mementos she discovered amongst the clutter what am I looking at this is a family chest
27:32so this came over from England with my dad my auntie my grandma my grandpa on the six-week boat
27:42trip so
27:43it's a proper treasure yes turns out this beautiful chest was used by Sarah's family to carry their
27:51belongings aboard the Maloia when they emigrated to Australia in 1951 as 10 pound poms which they were
27:58called because each adult was charged 10 pounds for the trip whilst I was looking at this I did some
28:05extra research and I found this passenger list if you have a look my family names yes that's amazing to
28:19me a piece like this needs to be holding real treasures and real memories and I came across
28:27some absolutely beautiful treasures my babies that was their first little beanies there's a whole
28:39collection of precious memories here from the early days of James and Zoe's life little teeny tiny tiny
28:46nappy these incredible keepsakes deserve to be honored not buried amongst clutter so I'm going to repurpose
28:53Sarah's Sarah's family chest and create something really special for this amazing family
29:01at Steve and Sarah's house the rain is still coming down forcing tradies to work under a tarp to keep
29:07the Renault moving while inside Cherie and the team are giving James and Jack's room a bold pop of color
29:14for a kid's room this was really dull and boring so we're painting one more blue and keeping the others
29:20neutral so we can then add these fun decals as I know the boys are obsessed with dinosaurs
29:30as the lengthened wardrobe doors are installed
29:34the garage that was overrun with clutter gets much-needed organization
29:40to keep things off the floor we're maximizing the unused vertical wall space by adding adjustable
29:47shelving so Steve can easily access his heavy tools and equipment
29:53guys thank you for coming today Peter has called in Steve and Sarah's kids to help deal with the
29:59more than 1,500 toys clogging the rooms in their house
30:14despite the fun start to engage the kids it's actually Sarah I need to reach the most as she's
30:20admitted to buying many of these toys to compensate for being away from Jack for so long when the twins
30:26were in hospital I would love you to go around and find your favorite toys that you want to keep
30:32and put
30:33them on your table off you go so I want Sarah to see that kids need far less stuff to
30:38be happy than we
30:39give them credit for that's it good job go get another one good job any other ones
30:46okay good are there any toys here that I could give to other children who don't have many toys
30:53yep okay good these two okay I'm so proud of my kids today good job guys seeing them being able
31:05to
31:06happily get in there and pass things to be donated it's helped so much I don't want to be an
31:12overcompensating mum anymore that's really generous well done good job give yourself a clap give a clap
31:22the kids have got things off to a great start now I'm hoping Sarah and Steve are ready to work
31:28together to tackle the rest I can see a real shift here Sarah and Steve are starting to realize that
31:44by communicating and working as a team they can achieve their goal of a harmonious clutter-free home
31:53so we started with six tables covered in toys plus this wall now you're down to two tables and 14
32:02boxes
32:03off to donation less clutter less for me to do which means that I can be more present with the
32:11kids I
32:12love that and more time with you two together okay yep fantastic there's still more to do let's move on
32:18let's go guys good upstairs Angie's ready to repurpose Sarah's family treasure this chest has great
32:28weathered character that I want to retain but to make it more useful I'm turning it into a bench seat
32:34with storage to keep the mementos of when twins James and Zoe were born after a light sand I'm applying
32:43beeswax to protect the vintage timber on the inside I'm adding the passenger list with the names of
32:52Sarah's family then I'm combining thick cardboard with wadding and wrapping it up in velvet to make
32:58plush new inserts for the chest to make the seat cushion I'm spraying adhesive on a piece of MDF so
33:05I
33:05can glue foam on top then covering it with material that'll tie in with Cherie's sophisticated color
33:12scheme I can't wait to see Sarah and Steve's reaction when they see this beauty in their newly renovated home
33:23coming up Steve and Sarah are gobsmacked by their huge donation total that's so cool I'm impressed
33:31yeah and the Renault team race to the finish line
33:44at Steve and Sarah's house with the storm now over the renovation rubbish can at last be collected
33:52as last-minute installers and deliveries begin arriving with new curtains and blinds
33:59are reordered going up all right and then roll a plush new rug is placed in the main bedroom and
34:07a
34:07large consignment of furniture for the bedrooms is unloaded we're giving Steve and Sarah a larger king
34:14size bed Jack and James new singles plus I'm adding storage cubes so the boys can keep their toys off
34:21the
34:21floor there's also plenty of new furniture going into Zoe's room to make sure these beautiful new
34:27pieces are secure we're using a stud finder to locate a solid timber beam behind the plasterboard
34:34then attaching an anti-tip device to help prevent accidents and keep the kids safe oh that's beautiful
34:41and we're adding new artwork that's just arrived the little girl loves dancing so that is the perfect
34:47artwork for her that looks great
34:57go go go go go Sarah and Steve are now clearing
35:04the last of their clutter they don't fit I don't wear that and are finally on the same page about
35:10what's

38:45Wow, I'm speechless.
38:54Sarah and Steve are about to see their renovated home for the first time.
38:59It's been a really big week and I'm just so proud with how well we've gone.
39:05I'm pumped to see the new spaces, see what's been done.
39:08It's exciting.
39:12When we first stepped into this master bedroom, it was not a sanctuary.
39:17Jack's bed was in the corner.
39:19There were clothes everywhere.
39:20On the count of three, I want you to open your eyes and check out your brand new parents' retreat.
39:27One, two, three, open your eyes.
39:32Oh my God!
39:37Wow.
39:45We're in a hotel.
39:46Oh my God!
39:49Oh my God, that is amazing!
39:53Steve and Sarah's bedroom was soulless and uninviting, with a bed for five-year-old son Jack crammed into the
39:59corner.
40:04It's now a luxurious sanctuary, where the couple can relax and enjoy time together.
40:12Wow, I'm speechless.
40:17I wanted to create a really beautiful room that was just yours.
40:21So you can see we've got the beautiful wall panelling here, it adds a lot of texture, and you've got
40:26this really practical shelf to put whatever you want.
40:29We painted throughout.
40:31Yes!
40:32You've got new down lights in this room.
40:34That is cool.
40:35We've got brand new sheer curtains that let the light in.
40:38Yes!
40:38But you just pull the block out ones across so you can have darkness.
40:42We've got this gorgeous big Super King bed.
40:45Amazing!
40:47And you'll notice that the air conditioner is no longer on this wall, so I've relocated that.
40:52Yes!
40:52Oh, that is so much better there.
40:55It wasn't just me, it was the wonderful team Atreides from Grey Army and Grey Care.
41:00It's, yeah, just exactly what we needed.
41:04The bedroom for us is completely awesome.
41:09It's now really a space that we can get away from the kids if we need to and relax.
41:16Alrighty.
41:17Look what we have here.
41:19Oh, amazing.
41:21The chest.
41:22Oh, it is too.
41:23The chest.
41:25Inside, I've padded it, I preserved the name cards and the passenger list, and after our
41:33beautiful chat, we've got the baby stuff all in here now.
41:36Oh!
41:38And look, a little seat.
41:39I know, so much.
41:40To match with the aesthetic.
41:42You're so wonderful.
41:47James and Zoe's shared bedroom was a boring, chaotic mess.
41:52Oh!
41:54Oh, wow!
42:03Oh, wow!
42:05Oh, wow!
42:06Oh, they will love this!
42:13It's been reinvented as a fun, organised space for new roommates Jack and James.
42:26I know the boys love dinosaurs, so I really made dinosaurs the theme.
42:31And you've tied in the blues as well.
42:34How cool is this?
42:35You had two little kiddie beds in the room before.
42:39I've replaced them with two full-size single beds, and these beds will take the boys right
42:44through to their teens.
42:45Perfect.
42:46Absolutely.
42:46And you'll notice a big dresser for extra clothes storage.
42:50Oh, they're going to lose their tiny minds.
42:53They have a field day here.
42:55Oh, yeah.
42:59The unusable room down the hallway had been jam-packed with clutter for years.
43:04Oh, my God!
43:09Oh!
43:09Oh, my God!
43:11Oh, my God!
43:11Oh!
43:12Oh!
43:17This is gorgeous.
43:20You're going to love the pink.
43:22You got the message, you got the memo with the pink.
43:24You're going to love it.
43:29It's been transformed into the ultimate little girl's room
43:33with plenty of personality and storage for four-year-old Zoe.
43:37This is stunning.
43:38I wanted to make this room really fun.
43:40So you can see here that we've used the beautiful wood panelling.
43:44We've got this super cute wallpaper.
43:47I absolutely love it.
43:49We've got this gorgeous king single bed in pink.
43:52That's amazing.
43:54We've got this beautiful artwork.
43:56Yeah, she's very much loving dancing at the moment.
43:59We've upgraded the lights.
44:00We've got beautiful curtains.
44:02And we've got the desk.
44:04And she's also got the dresses.
44:06I couldn't picture what was going to be in here,
44:09but, yeah, she's going to go crazy.
44:12Yeah.
44:16The garage was so full of clutter,
44:19it was difficult for Steve to find his work tools
44:21and access his classic car.
44:25Remember what this was like before?
44:27Check out your decluttered garage.
44:39Look at that.
44:41Awesome.
44:42Wow.
44:45Space.
44:46Yeah.
44:49Basically, this is the result of your work.
44:51You have decluttered a ton of stuff that you didn't need.
44:55Yeah.
44:55We've collected like things together
44:57and rearranged things a little bit.
45:00Yeah, it's perfect.
45:01It's your role now to keep going
45:03and to keep this rolling on.
45:05Yes.
45:05Okay.
45:06100%.
45:06Steve, I know how much you love your family car.
45:09You've had a lot of memories in that car with your brothers.
45:12So I've just popped a couple of little photos over there.
45:16That is cool.
45:17And your brother Robbie's special car
45:20to honour those memories when you're in here
45:22working on your stuff.
45:24Perfect.
45:25You're so welcome.
45:28I couldn't be happier.
45:30I'm wrapped with the space I've got in the garage.
45:32In the new space.
45:34Oh, it's nice.
45:35It's nice.
45:37It's just going to make things a lot calmer,
45:39less arguments between me and Sarah.
45:42It's awesome.
45:44Could you have a bigger smile?
45:47Peter, Cherie and Angie,
45:49words cannot even express how grateful we are
45:52and how much you guys have already changed our lives.
45:55Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
45:59It's your new room.
46:02Lastly, it's time for Zoe...
46:04Do you love it?
46:05Yeah.
46:07..along with James and Jack
46:08to see their newly renovated rooms.
46:11What do you think, guys?
46:12Love it.
46:13Love it?
46:13I love it.
46:14You love it?
46:17Dealing with the trauma of premature twins
46:20set Sarah and Steve on a cluttered path
46:22that strained their marriage.
46:24But by working together,
46:26they've achieved this incredible result
46:28and can now focus on what's truly important,
46:31spending quality time with each other
46:33and their beautiful family.
