00:22I've liked what Mitch Johnson has done for the entire season for San Antonio.
00:28A team that we thought was going to send, but no one had them getting to where they are, where
00:33they have the second best record in the NBA and navigating it through arguably one of the youngest rosters in
00:39the league.
00:40Like you're talking about dealing with the injuries, Wemby missing time and working his way back, trying to figure out
00:46the Devin Vassell, you know, Fox, you know, Dylan Harper combination.
00:53Someone like Kelvin Johnson has been a big piece, bringing him off the bench, right?
00:57Navigating getting Luke Cornett in and, and, and really making it to the NBA cup finals.
01:04I thought that I think Mitch Johnson's job has been honestly been taken for granted.
01:10Uh, in my opinion, and I think he should have a way shorter odd than anyone else.
01:16Now, in the name of Pat Foster, you people are going to think I'm crazy.
01:21I think the favorite should be Missoula.
01:23I mean, if you, if you, if you, if you peel back, I want everyone to close their eyes and

01:29Jason Tatum misses almost the entire season because of Achilles tear, right?
01:34Drew Holloway traded for, uh, obviously Anthony Simons who got turned around and flipped.
01:39Uh, Christoph Porzingis traded for a bag of basketballs, no Al Horford and no Luke Cornett.
01:46And you got the second best record in the Eastern conference.
01:50And some people think you should be the favorites to come out of the East.
01:55Now I'm going to be honest with you.
01:57I thought going into the season when all Boston had lost, they were to me, I was thinking like around
02:05a seven seed.
02:06I really was because I thought New York, I thought Cleveland, I thought Detroit, I thought Orlando, uh, was going
02:15to be better, much better.
02:16That's at least four teams.
02:17Right.
02:17I thought Philadelphia was going to have a comeback season five.
02:20So I had them in that.
02:22I'm not going to say the number before seven, because my kids will make fun of me every time I
02:26do it, but you get where I'm going.
02:27Where they probably, I thought we're going to be.
02:30So they are the two seed playing this good a basketball with all these guys they've missed.
02:36Respectfully, I think the favorite should be Joe Mazzola to be coach of the year.
02:42Look, he obviously has a case.
02:45Um, I think Mazzola has shown that he can present a very high regular season floor.
02:57Um, I think Jalen Brown, so here's a funny thing.
03:01And I wonder if he would find this insulting.
03:02He probably would.
03:04I actually think that Jalen Brown has like a most improved case, quite frankly.
03:10Um, again, I know that that's not really how that works, but.
03:14I just, I, I feel that, um, I don't know the Missoula thing.
03:20I somewhat think some of the low expectations for Boston were listening to what we were told a little bit.
03:31Like, I, I think there's some, like Jalen Brown likes to tweet out like reset year, reset year, reset year.
03:36And I understand why he took that as motivation.
03:38But I also think Jalen Brown, uh, is smart enough to know that a lot of times he can look
03:43for motivation within that organization.
03:45Uh, because they've considered trading him for half of his career.
03:49And I think some of the reset stuff was what that organization was discussing.
03:57And they obviously pushed through that, right?
04:00But they were also able to push through that, I thought, with, you know, look, good development.
04:06That is a Celtic staple long before Missoula got there.
04:12I don't mean to take everything away from Missoula.
04:15I think he's easily on ballots, 100%, right?
04:19But, man, I, I don't know.
04:21I've seen worse Boston rosters contend for the one seed.
