SAN FRANCISCO DE MACORÍS. – Un residente en el populoso sector San Martín (conocido como Rabo de Chivo), identificado como "Bori", denunció que fue brutalmente agredido por un grupo de nacionales haitianos. El incidente se produjo cuando el afectado les solicitó que dejaran de consumir sustancias ilícitas frente a su vivienda.

El afectado, quien presenta heridas abiertas en el rostro, hematomas en la clavícula y laceraciones en las piernas, relató que el conflicto inició por una preocupación familiar. Según sus declaraciones, su esposa se encuentra en un estado de salud delicado y el humo de la marihuana que el grupo consumía constantemente estaba afectando su bienestar.

"Yo salí a decirles, de buena manera, que no fumaran ahí porque mi esposa está enferma. Sin mediar palabras, uno de ellos me dio con un bloque de cemento en la cara", narró la víctima mientras mostraba sus heridas.

Denuncian "peaje" policial e inacción de Migración

Más allá de la agresión física, "Bori" lanzó duras críticas contra la operatividad de las autoridades en el sector San Martín. El denunciante afirmó que la Policía Nacional acude al lugar, pero presuntamente no para imponer el orden, sino para recibir sobornos de quienes operan en la ilegalidad.

Visiblemente indignado, el afectado recordó que en el pasado ayudó a sus agresores facilitándoles incluso electricidad, recibiendo violencia como respuesta. Hizo un llamado urgente a las autoridades competentes para que intervengan antes de que la comunidad tome medidas por cuenta propia.

"Si las autoridades no actúan, nosotros mismos vamos a tener que resolver, porque mis hijos no se van a quedar de brazos cruzados viendo cómo me dejaron", advirtió.
