00:01both andy and donnie found this story and said you didn't i did hey you too sorry
00:09keep the love both of you individually separately told me that i have to do this story and i am
00:17clinically obsessed with it a father-son duo is going to visit every major league baseball ballpark
00:26i love that so cool right there's 30 of them now respectfully that is an amazing trip an amazing
00:31journey it's been done i feel like a lot of people not a lot like yeah but yeah like it's
00:37a bucket list
00:37thing for sure i've known quite a few father-son mother-son you know father-daughter duos who have
00:43done that which is so special but what makes this one even more unique and just unbelievable
00:49is they're going to do it on their bikes their bicycles yeah oh they are embarking on a six
00:57month 9 500 cycling journey 9 9 500 mile cycling journey across the u.s to visit every major league
01:06baseball ballpark that seems insane yeah i'm guessing they have jobs that are like yeah just
01:12take off for six months right how like do we know what age the sun is because initially i was
01:18thinking
01:18he was like seven so i don't have the age of the sun but i do know that dad thought
01:25about doing it
01:26back in 1994 he was really really adamant about doing it wasn't able to finish because probably
01:32work-related things so my guess would be this son is probably of teenage or later years and they're
01:39trying to take advantage of summer but here's the coolest thing and a little personal connection to the
01:44andy summer show every single year we're involved in an absolutely amazing radiothon that supports
01:49saint jude and that is what they're doing oh get out they're raising money for saint jude raising
01:55awareness and funds for childhood cancer through saint jude's children's research hospital which is so
02:01that is tremendous incredible so all proceeds going toward research and treatment for children with
02:06serious illness and this kind of all goes through a personal loss of a family member and actually
02:13one of scott that's dad uh one of his old boss's daughters passed away from child cancer so he has
02:20been really really struck by this so the son just graduated from the university of arizona okay 21
02:26it's perfect because he doesn't have a job yet right he's taking six months hang out with his pops
02:32yeah and this is what they're gonna do that is awesome they started march 26th in seattle so
02:38they're already on their way and they will finish in miami on september 26th wow which is so cool
02:45incredible which to me very much sounds like there's going to be a lot of room for i'm not saying
02:51hey do
02:52it faster because right i can't even bike to the grocery store yet alone 9 500 miles but it sounds
02:57like
02:57they're gonna have a lot of time together to like spend time in these cities and visit oh it's gonna
03:01be
03:02so special they have a website with a tracker that's okay but no that's that's that's the
03:06pull the takeaway bike to ballparks.com with the number two bike to ballparks.com oh we're gonna
03:13track them yeah we gotta we gotta keep our eyes on scott and ethan pesh so incredible and happy happy
03:19baseball and happy cycling that's so great
