00:01A forest fire broke out in a hilly area at Taman Puncak Jalil, Seri Kembangan, on Thursday night,
00:08but the Selangor Fire and Rescue Department said it is now under control.
00:12The department's operations assistant director, Ahmad Mughlis Mukhtar,
00:17said an emergency call was received at 9.27pm, with 18 personnel deployed from nearby stations.
00:24He said the fire affected about two acres of hilly forest area, and it had been contained from spreading.
00:31He said extinguishing efforts were ongoing at the scene.
00:34He added that no casualties were reported, and there was no damage to nearby residential or commercial properties.
