00:18in Trinidad and 25 in Tobago.

00:23will give us a mix of everything.
00:25That sunshine, a breeze
00:26and a few brisk showers during the early morning
00:29and afternoon.
00:30So nothing totally different
00:32from what we've been getting this week
00:34with maximum temperatures reaching up to 32 degrees
00:37in Trinidad and 31 in Tobago.
00:40Also making an appearance tomorrow
00:42is Saharan dust
00:43with a mild to moderate concentration.
00:46So today my mother asked me frustratingly
00:49why this dust thing keep coming back.
00:52And for those of you wondering the same thing,
00:54well, Saharan dust frequently reaches Trinidad and Tobago
00:58because of a repeating atmospheric pattern
01:01where strong seasonal winds lift dust
01:04from the Sahara desert into the Saharan air layer,
01:08which is then carried across the Atlantic by trade winds.
01:12Since the desert constantly supplies dust
01:15and Trinidad and Tobago lies directly
01:17in the path of these winds,
01:19it is often one of the first Caribbean locations
01:21to experience these recurring dust plumes.

01:29where Saturday's sunny spells
01:31will be interrupted by occasional showers
01:33with the possibility of these showers
01:35becoming moderate to heavy
01:37with temperatures of 31 degrees in Trinidad
01:40and 30 degrees in Tobago.
01:42And Sunday will bring the heat
01:44with mostly sunny, hazy and breezy conditions
01:46but a few showers in some areas as well.
01:49Maximum temperatures will come in
01:51at 31 degrees in both islands.
