00:00Welcome back to our annual Variety Power of Law breakfast presented by City
00:06National Bank. Well, let's start by giving everyone, all of the lawyers
00:13profiled in our legal impact report, a round of applause. We are so proud to
00:23shine a light on all of your work, which is usually behind the scenes, but it is
00:29absolutely essential to the continued success of our industry. We're also very
00:33excited to host a keynote conversation with blockbuster filmmaker Paul Feig.
00:42And we're going to hear his insights into what is working in today's theatrical
00:48movie business. What is working, Paul? No, it's good news. It's all going to be good
00:54news. Okay. And then later this morning, we're going to congratulate Patricia
00:59Glaser with the Variety Power of Law Award for her accomplished career and
01:04extensive service to our community. Congratulations, Patty. Now, before we get
01:10started, I'd like to offer a very special thank you to City National Bank, our
01:15presenting partner and our good friends, I have to say, for making today's event
01:21possible. We are grateful to your continued support today and throughout
01:25the year as you support so many of Variety's events. I would also like to
01:30thank our supporting partner, Citrine Cooperman. Here is Citrine Cooperman.
