00:19But first let's learn about Jade's volleyball history. So how long have you been playing?
00:25I've been playing for about 12 years
00:27I still play in some leagues and I still run some tournaments just for fun. That's awesome
00:31Yeah, I've been playing for 14 years same as you I play in some tournaments playing some leagues
00:36But I wanted to ask you what format do you like to play like what style of volleyball?
00:41So my favorite is sand. I love sand volleyball, but my next favorite is grass volleyball for sure. I agree
00:47Yeah, I I'm not a big fan of sand. I love sand because it's
00:52You can fall and it doesn't hurt as bad, but I'm not a big fan of getting sandy
00:55I mainly love playing on grass and especially reverse co-ed twos. That's a fun one. Yeah, I like that.

01:02Well, awesome. Okay, you ready to get into it first
01:06I'm gonna show you how I hit a volleyball then Jade will show you how she hits a volleyball, right?

01:13to start I
01:16Do a three-step approach
01:19So you'll have full feet together and for me I go left right left. It looks like this
01:28Left right left
01:29All right, and then we jump up
01:32But what do my hands do all right as I'm doing my footwork?
01:35Hands are gonna be out in front like this on step one
01:41Back on two
01:44Three up and over why don't we put it all together, so I'm gonna have you toss a ball
01:50Okay, actually give it to me. I'll toss it to you. I like it, and then I'll have you set

02:01So that is how I hit a volleyball you ready? Yeah

02:14There's many different positions that you can hit from so let me show you what it's like on the left
02:18and then I'll show you what it's like on the right

02:36The set was a little far a little bit and my timing was not the best but I made it
02:40and one thing I made sure not to do
02:42Was touch the net. I think I had a nice slo-mo reaction down a little limbo

03:03So as you can see I was able to hit straight down line great set now. It's a little fun

03:09I'm gonna show you guys how to hit from the left in the right. Let's do it
03:21Nice way to adjust to that thank you so yes, so the set was a little pushed out
03:25So I just kind of took a more outer side approach so that I can still get on top of
03:29it. That's right. Good job
03:32Let me try and get a better set now

03:42Yeah, that was great. I still got on top of it
03:47Yeah, my set was still a little far off the net
03:49I would have preferred if it was a little bit more on but she did a great job adjusting to
03:53the ball making sure she was still far behind the ball
03:56So she can attack it. Yeah, you always want to keep yeah the ball in front of you
04:00So when you're on top of it, you're hitting down on it instead of being underneath it perfectly said
