What Washington called a heroic rescue mission may have been the biggest military blunder in recent US history.
Reports from Press TV claim the operation in Isfahan province wasn’t about saving a downed F-15E pilot at all. Instead, the mission allegedly aimed to infiltrate one of Iran’s nuclear facilities and steal thousands of kilograms of uranium.

And according to these reports… it went catastrophically wrong.
The Americans, after days of aerial reconnaissance, reportedly underestimated Iran’s air defenses. They lost at least one A-10 Thunderbolt II and two Black Hawk helicopters before the main assault even began.

00:18What Washington called a heroic rescue mission may have been the biggest military blunder
00:25in recent U.S. history. Reports from PressTV claim the operation in Isfahan province wasn't about
00:32saving a downed F-15E pilot at all. Instead, the mission allegedly aimed to infiltrate one of
00:39Iran's nuclear facilities and steal thousands of kilograms of uranium. And according to these
00:45reports, it went catastrophically wrong. The Americans, after days of aerial reconnaissance,
00:51reportedly underestimated Iran's air defenses. They lost at least one A-10 Thunderbolt II
00:58and two Black Hawk helicopters before the main assault even began. C-130 transport planes
01:05carrying special forces touched down at an abandoned airstrip, perilously close to a nuclear
01:10site, only to fall straight into a trap. Minutes later, Iranian forces targeted the second plane,
01:17along with helicopters and vehicles, turning the landing into a nightmare extraction mission.
01:24Troops were forced to flee, leaving behind equipment and even an officer's identification.
01:29Shocking video of the IDs and documents left behind were released by Iran.
01:34In the aftermath, the White House reportedly pivoted the operation from a nuclear raid
01:40to a desperate rescue of trapped commandos, scrambling smaller aircraft to pull soldiers from the deadly
01:46situation. Some helicopters were destroyed on the ground or inside the planes, never even used in
01:53the operation. To cover up the disaster, President Donald Trump and Secretary of War Pete Hegseth held
02:00multiple press conferences, portraying the mission as a daring pilot rescue, as per the report.
02:05But the evidence, according to Press TV, paints a far different picture. The nuclear facility was
02:12never reached. Key equipment and aircraft were destroyed or abandoned. The operation is described
02:18as one of the most humiliating defeats in U.S. military history, worse even than the infamous 1980
02:24Tabas disaster. Iranian sources are now asking, how could a country supposedly weakened by sanctions
02:31shoot down and destroy so many American aircraft while protecting its facilities? The implications
02:38of this alleged failure are enormous. It could reshape the ongoing conflict with Iran, the political
02:44standing of Trump and his administration, and global perceptions of U.S. military power and credibility.
02:51Was this truly a pilot rescue or a failed raid on Iran's nuclear program? Iran's MFA spokesperson
02:58has also claimed that the U.S. Airmen rescue was a cover-up, as U.S. failed to steal the
03:04enriched
03:05uranium for which the entire ground operation was conducted.
03:09The ambiguities regarding this operation, which was, after all, a clear violation of the country's
03:16airspace. The American pilot was allegedly present in Kogiluyakh and Boya Rahmad. He is quite a significant
03:22distance from the area where they actually deployed their forces or had intended to do so.
03:28The deceptive operation to steal enriched uranium should under no circumstances be overlooked.
03:37It assisted the Iranian nation after 36 or 7 days of unwavering resistance, providing them with this crucial divine support.
03:44I've raised the question, and there are many, many questions and ambiguities regarding this operation,
03:51which was, after all, a clear violation of the country's airspace.
03:56The region where the American pilot was allegedly present in Kogiluyakh and Boya Rahmad
04:01is quite a significant distance from the area where they actually deployed their forces
04:08or had intended to do so deep in central Iran. Therefore, the possibility that this might have
04:21been a deceptive operation to steal enriched uranium should under no circumstances be overlooked.
04:32But, as I said, what is clear, the outcome of this entire operation amounted to nothing but Clause 2.
04:43And we truly believe that this was indeed a divine grace, a profound blessing from God Almighty that truly
04:49came from His divine providence. It assisted the Iranian nation after 36 or 7 days of unwavering resistance,
04:55providing them with this crucial divine support. And it clearly demonstrated that steadfast resistance,
05:00unyielding perseverance, and resolute defense will ultimately bear their own fruit and achieve
05:05their intended outcome.
05:07This operation was a catastrophic and utter disaster for America.
05:12Well, if I, in my capacity as a representative,
05:17We are a civilized and cultured nation, and the very first things that we are taught from our earliest childhood
05:23are to always be polite. If you truly expect me to even bring myself to utter those kinds of words,
05:28then I must tell you, I am certainly unable...
05:32Well, as I've already stated, Iranians, even back in the stone age, always converse with grace and a sense of
05:39decorum.
05:40This particular style of language is certainly not indicative of true greatness or genuine self-assurance.
05:46Psychologists should investigate these matters to understand the reason for using such rhetoric.
05:54regarding the ultimatum and these discussions that have been repeated many times.
06:02A respected individual had written, making a point about the 48-hour ultimatum that was issued to Iran.
06:09They remarked that this specific rhetoric is not genuinely a 48-hour matter.
06:12But instead, for the past 48 years, they have persistently tried to intimidate the Iranian people by employing this very
06:18same kind of language.
06:21To understand this, Iranians, in defending their homeland, are not going to be subdued by such ultimatums.
06:29These ultimatums merely reveal the criminal and malicious intentions of those who propose them.
06:43We will not compromise nor will we allow ourselves to deviate in the slightest from our resolute response in defending
06:51our nation.
06:52Our armed forces have clearly demonstrated how they will decisively act against any form of aggression.
06:58It is then the responsibility of the international community and incumbent upon the countries of the region and all member
07:07states of the United Nations to stand firm against this trend, this process of normalizing crime and lawlessness.
07:15Now let us remember, Iran truly does not solely defend its own territorial integrity.
07:22Iran is defending the international order that is founded upon international law.
07:29Therefore, it is the duty of all nations to be fully aware and vigilant here,
07:33to realize that the normalization of crime and the normalization of lawlessness will certainly not remain confined solely to the
07:42borders of West Asian countries.
07:43A mission deep inside hostile territory.
07:48A pilot missing.
07:50Enemy forces closing in.
07:52And a rescue operation that pushed the limits of modern warfare.
07:56This is the inside story of a traumatic 48-hour rescue inside Iran.
08:03It began when a US F-15E Strike Eagle was shot down over Iran.
08:09Both crew members ejected, but only one was recovered immediately.
08:14The second was alone.
08:16The missing crew member, a weapons systems officer, had one advantage.
08:21Training.
08:22SEER.
08:23Survival, Evasion, Resistance, Escape.
08:26He moved fast, hiking away from the crash site, climbing to higher ground, avoiding detection.
08:32Then, he activated his emergency beacon.
08:35But he wasn't alone for long.
08:38Iranian forces launched a manhunt, even offering rewards for his capture.
08:43A race had begun.
08:45Who would reach him first?
08:47Back in command centers, the US launched one of its most complex rescue missions of the war.
08:53Hundreds of personnel mobilized instantly.
08:56Special operations forces sent deep into Iran, supported by fighter jets, drones, helicopters, and real-time intelligence.
09:05But the rescue was anything but smooth.
09:08As US teams closed in, they ran into heavy resistance.
09:12A massive firefight erupted on the ground.
09:15US forces engaging Iranian units in a battle to reach one man.
09:20From the air, US warplanes struck approaching convoys, trying to buy time for the rescue teams below.
09:28The cost was high.
09:29Two US helicopters hit by enemy fire.
09:33Crew members injured.
09:34An A-10 warthog providing cover went down during the mission.
09:39And then another setback.
09:41US transport aircraft became stranded inside Iran.
09:45With no way to recover them, they were destroyed by US forces
09:49to prevent them from falling into enemy hands.
09:52Despite the chaos, the rescue teams finally reached the missing airman.
09:57He was alive but injured after nearly 48 hours on the run.
10:01Medics moved fast, stabilizing him mid-operation as extraction began under fire.
10:08Reinforcements arrived.
10:10Additional aircraft brought in to complete the evacuation.
10:13And finally, US forces fought their way out, bringing both crew members back alive.
10:19But the mission leaves behind questions about escalation, about risk, and what comes next.
10:25Because this operation was more than a rescue.
10:28It was a ground battle inside Iran.
10:31And finally, they are not a rescue.
