00:00The President and I thought this would be a good time
00:01for President Zelensky and I to meet,
00:05and we'll see what we can do.
00:07But we've actually developed a good relationship.
00:10It's hard to believe, right?
00:11From the Oval Office to now, we've developed.
00:14I think we've developed a very good relationship.
00:18And this is not the end.
00:20The President and I know this is not.
00:21This is going to be the beginning, maybe.
00:24Just the beginning.
00:25And you know, the country has a lot of future.
00:28It is such great land, such great assets,
00:31such great people.
00:32The Press, Mr. President, will you allow Europe
00:34to make Patriot interceptors in Europe?
00:36Are you comfortable with licensing that technology?
00:39The President about what?
00:39The Press, Patriot interceptors to be made in Europe.
00:42The President and you're talking with respect to Ukraine.
00:45Well, we're going to talk about that, you know?
00:47Look, it's a defensive weapon, which I like,
00:52better than an offensive weapon.
00:54It's the best.
00:55So, I was saying, we have an aircraft carrier,
00:58which is one of the most beautiful in the world.
01:00It's one of the biggest.
01:01The Abraham Lincoln.
01:03And two months ago, we had a hundred.
01:05I told this story yesterday.
01:06We had 111 missiles shot by the Islamic Republic of Japan.
01:12They were shot at the aircraft carrier
01:14over a period of about one hour.
01:17111 missiles going to a very expensive ship.
01:20And every one of those missiles was knocked down,
01:24pretty much most by Patriots,
01:26but by other means also, as you know.
01:29Yeah.
01:30Other less expensive means.
01:31See if they're better when you do that.
01:33But out of the 111 missiles,
01:35every one of them was shot down.
01:38It didn't hit the ship and, you know,
01:40bad things happen, right, when that happens.
01:42So, think of that.
01:43Over a period of one hour,
01:46these missiles are coming at you,
01:48and every one of them shot down.
01:50So, I think one of the things
01:52we're going to be talking about is,
01:54as you know, the companies,
01:55we have great power over the companies.
01:57Those companies that make the Patriots
01:59and make all of the great stuff, the Tomahawks,
02:01all of the great stuff.
02:02We have the best stuff.
02:04Many things, the Patriots script,
02:05but we have many, many great things.
02:07You see that with Venezuela.
02:09And you see it with Iran.
02:10Look, Iran has been wiped out.
02:11Iran, their Navy is gone.
02:13Their Air Force is gone.
02:14Everything is gone.
02:16But one of the things I think
02:17we're going to be talking about today,
02:19I just, a little birdie told me this about the fact
02:23that we'll give them the right to make Patriots.
02:26We'll show them how to do it.
02:28It's very complex, actually.
02:29But it's, you'll figure out the complexity quickly.
02:34And we're talking about that.
02:35And we'll, the company that makes them,
02:38which is building now four plants,
02:40you know, all of our companies,
02:41we'll be able to do this in two to three months.
02:43If you order a Patriot,
02:45now you have to wait a long time for them.
02:47Same thing with Tomahawks.
02:49We have a lot of certain equipment,
02:51but with the, they call it the elite equipment.
02:54And you don't need elite equipment, necessarily, for a war.
02:57But, so, one of the things we're going to be talking about
03:00is you'll, we're going to give a license to you to make Patriots.
03:04That's pretty cool, right?
03:06This way you can't complain that we're not giving them enough.
03:08I'd say, make them yourself.
03:11We haven't informed the company of that yet,
03:13but that'll, that'll work out all right.
03:15You know, sure, they'll be thrilled.
03:17But, you know, they'll be able to do it.
03:19You'll be able to figure that out.
03:20Most, most countries couldn't do that.
03:22The President Trump has said that to most countries,
03:24they wouldn't know what I'm talking about.
03:26But this is a very ingenious group.
03:28And what I like about that, it's a defensive,
03:31it's a defensive situation as opposed to an offensive.
03:34But I think one of the things you might want to be talking about is that.
03:38That's what I heard.
03:40Little Birdie told me that.
03:42One of the things, you talk about questions for Putin,
03:45but one of the things that I talked to him about was,
03:48where would you want to meet?
03:50And he said, ideally, in Moscow.
03:52I said, you're not going to meet in Moscow.
03:53You know, it just doesn't work.
03:55You can't do that.
03:59But he'll meet, and Zelenskyy is going to meet,
04:03and something is going to happen that's going to be positive.
04:05And I think, I hope it's going to happen soon,
04:08because they have to, number one, lives.
04:10But, number two, building your country,
04:13because it's got a tremendous future, in my opinion.
04:16Yeah.
04:17The Press Press.: Where would he be held,
04:18and when would that happen?
04:19The President Trump has said,
04:20Mr. President, Mr. President,
04:21President Putin said, I would love to meet in Moscow.
04:26And I said, I don't think, you know,
04:28I have to put myself in this position.
04:30I don't know that he'd go to Moscow.
04:32Maybe he would.
04:33Would you go to Moscow?
04:34It's difficult.
04:35There are a lot of Ukrainian drones there.
04:37That's right.
04:39It was dangerous.
04:40It was dangerous.
04:41It was dangerous.
04:41What about Europe?
04:43No, it's hard to go to Europe.
04:56That's right.
04:57Nobody's worried about Europe really doesn't have to be able to help.
04:57You should see all known though.
