00:00Have you ever wished that you had a private butler in your home waiting to take your food
00:04order? Or is that just me? Well, Amazon is making that a reality thanks to a new deal with Uber
00:09Eats
00:10and Grubhub that lets you order food via Alexa. Instead of opening up apps on your phone because
00:15ew, us fancy people don't use our hands, Alexa Plus users will soon be able to ask the AI voice
00:21assistant to do things like browse local restaurants, modify a meal, or even change
00:25their mind halfway through their order. It's like a butler relaying your every food whim to your chef.
00:30As you order, your choices will appear on Alexa's screen in real time. So if you ask for extra
00:35ketchup, you'll see it added right there. Now, if you decide you don't want that burger after all,
00:39but instead you're craving a chicken sandwich, presto chango, all with your voice. You can even
00:43ask Alexa questions about the food or the restaurant while you're deciding between pasta carbonara or
00:48bolognese. Once the order is placed, users can get updates by asking where their food is. So
00:53you can even annoy your AI butler too. Once users link their Uber Eats or Grubhub accounts to their
00:58Alexa devices, they'll be able to even reorder the meals they already had.
