00:00Fear for stank attitude.
00:01Sunita, are you giving too much away?
00:03I used to pole dance to Pussycat Dolls in my bedroom.
00:06I would say me and Jim and me have some moments.
00:11Hello, it's me, Sam Thompson,
00:12and this is the brand new I'm a Celebrity Unpacked Vodcast.
00:17I'll be here every night straight after I'm a Celebrity South Africa
00:20to unpack each episode, and oh my God,
00:23after what we've just watched, I cannot wait to get started.
00:26Now, throughout the series, I'll be joined by 70 guests
00:29and the campmates themselves, plus Kemi Rogers.
00:32We bring in new exclusive interviews with the main men
00:35and to deck all the way from South Africa.
00:37Let's not waste any more time.
00:39Joining me today is former I'm a Celebrity Campmate
00:42and content creating sensation, she asked me to call her that,
00:45GK Barry, I'm a Celebrity Icon and South Africa campmate herself.
00:49It's Sunita, everyone.
00:51We got treated to a really, really great little cliffhanger
00:57at the end of episode one.
00:58We have two new arrivals.
01:01We'll start with Craig Charles.
01:02Yes.
01:03We adore him.
01:04He was brilliant in his series.
01:06And the GC, Gemma Collins.
01:08She's back for more.
01:10She didn't last long.
01:11I think it was three days.
01:12Was it three days?
01:13Yeah.
01:13Did they say she had to leave for a Kit Kat or a Digester?
01:16A Diet Coke.
01:17A Diet Coke.
01:17Yeah.
01:18No, it was a Diet Coke.
01:19She didn't do very well in her first try.
01:22She is back for more.
01:24Me and GK are massive fans.
01:26Yeah.
01:26We're incredibly excited.
01:28Yeah.
01:28How excited were you to see her come in?
01:32Just the vision of her coming in.
01:34The robe.
01:35At that point was just like, I mean, that was all of me.
01:38I was just like, yes, girl.
01:40Yeah.
01:40And then they had an eating trial.
01:43Well, the faces on the preview that we just saw, they didn't look impressed.
01:47And then we were just left on.
01:49I'm going to die.
01:51You're going to kill me.
01:53I just think this can't end well.
01:56Gemma Collins doing an eating trial just can't end well.
01:59And she was like, I'm going to, and I'm going to, and I'm going to burn.
02:02And I'm not going to burn.
02:03I mean, but she wasn't the GC.
02:06Well, this is what I've heard.
02:07So I've heard that Gemma has come in and she's like, I'm not like an alter ego.
02:12I'm putting on her accent.
02:14I'm not going to go.
02:16I'm not going to have an alter ego, Sam.
02:18I'm just going to come in and I'm going to be Gemma Collins.
02:21Gemma Collins.
02:21And was she?
02:23Yeah.
02:24She was.
02:24She was.
02:25She was.
02:25She was.
02:26But I called her Miss Gemma.
02:28Miss Gemma, she has some game.
02:31Yeah.
02:31She knows how to get what she wants.
02:33Well, look, it's all about redemption for Gemma this time around.
02:36Do we think she's going to last longer than three days?
02:38I think she has to.
02:40I do.
02:41I believe she has to do it.
02:44A week.
02:45Sunita, don't tell her.
02:46Sunita, do not tell her.
02:47Sunita, do not tell her.
02:48How long do you think?
02:50If I had to guess, and it's three weeks.
02:52But they make it harder, we've heard.
02:54If I had to guess, I'd go a week and a half.
02:56Week and a half.
02:57You?
02:58I think a week.
03:00And last time, how long was it?
03:01Three days.
03:01Three days.
03:02Okay.
03:04Sunita, I don't even want to look at your face.
03:05I really hope to get as far.
03:07Because I think we're all, as a country, ready for some Gemma Collins memes.
03:11Yeah, we missed out on that on her season when she just left.
03:14It was like, what now?
03:15We really need it.
03:16And I think the world will be healing when we see some Gemma Collins memes.
03:19So I'm really excited.
03:20But she's a massive personality.
03:22She is, yeah.
03:22There's a lot of big personalities in there.
03:25Like, do her and David Hay come across each other much in the camp?
03:30Do you know what?
03:31There wasn't a lot of that.
03:32Really?
03:33It was more like David and Bev.
03:34If anything, I thought of...
03:35David and Bev?
03:36Oh, Bev.
03:37Not my, Bev.
03:38No, because Bev wasn't taking it.
03:39Bev was not taking it.
03:41What a girl.
03:42Yeah.
03:42What a queen.
03:43And did Gemma sort of come across anyone in the camp where there was a little bit of...
03:47I would say me and Gemma may have some moments.
03:49Wow.
03:50Miss Gemma.
03:51Two strong women.
03:52Two strong women.
03:53Because you know with that thing, I think it's like the two old divas.
03:56Well, obviously, I'm the older old diva.
03:58But you know what I mean?
03:59That thing.
04:00Well, there's only room for one diva in this camp.
04:03Obsessed.
04:03I'm obsessed with this.
04:04Yeah, yeah.
04:04You've just sat GK down for the next three weeks.
04:08You cannot wait.
04:09It's incredible.
04:10Let's talk about the campmates.
04:12Yes.
04:12What an unbelievable lineup.
04:14This is coming from someone who is like an OG fan.
04:18I used to sit, and I think GK's the same.
04:20I used to sit on my parents' living room floor.
04:22When you were babies.
04:23When I was tiny, and I used to watch the show.
04:25It was like my dream every time to go and watch it with my parents.
04:29Wow.
04:29And like, Anna Dett were like my heroes.
04:32Oh, my God.
04:32But the people who used to take part, and now the people who are on All Stars, this is
04:37completely my cup of tea.
04:38But it's got such an old school, like, view to it, and a vibe to it.
04:42And I really, really like that.
04:44Yeah.
04:44It goes, like, backwards, I think, in the best possible way.
04:47I was amazed.
04:48I was kind of thinking, like, well, so you're Sir David Haye, as in world champion.
04:53And he's like, yeah, yeah.
04:56That's him all over, though, isn't it?
04:58So, Debra.
04:59So, Moncara.
05:00Like, you know, absolute, like, legends of life.
05:03Well, talk about legends.
05:04I mean, I've got the lineup here.
05:06Adam Thomas, what, 2016.
05:08So I don't even know what series that was.
05:10Were you guys even born there?
05:11GK might not have been there.
05:12It was the sweet 16 in 2016.
05:15So Adam came third, and we, look, we saw him come in, and he just, he's got that boyish charm.
05:20Yeah.
05:21And he's never lost that, I don't think, either.
05:22He comes, he's got a smile on his face.
05:24He's loud as hell.
05:25Yeah.
05:25And I think he brings such a great energy.
05:28Good vibes, yeah.
05:29The most infectious laugh, as well.
05:30Yeah.
05:30I mean, it just, just cheered the whole camp up.
05:33Yeah.
05:33We just heard him cackling away.
05:36Your favourite, Ashley Roberts.
05:38Yes.
05:38Ex-pussycat doll.
05:39Love a pussycat doll.
05:40Or just pussycat doll.
05:41Yeah.
05:42This is mad.
05:432012, Ashley Roberts was in it, which makes you 12.
05:47Yes.
05:48Yeah, that is a long time ago.
05:50She came second in her series.
05:52Did you learn the dance with them when they did it?
05:53I used to pole dance with Pussycat Dolls in my bedroom when I was pole dancing.
05:58Pole dance?
05:58Yes, yeah.
05:59I used to have a bunk bed.
06:00We had Adam and Ashley at the start, and then Sir Mo Farah, and Beverly came in.
06:07Beverly Callow.
06:08She, Beverly's so sweet.
06:09Oh my gosh, the two sweetest people that you could meet, actually.
06:13But she can give it back, though, is what I've got to the first step.
06:15Yeah.
06:16She's sexy.
06:17She is.
06:18She's a sexy little minx, that one.
06:20So we obviously have David Hay, then, who comes in with Scarlet Moffat.
06:24Now, they, we're going to get on to both of them a little bit later, sort of in more detail.
06:29But I think David is an interesting character.
06:32And I cannot wait to see, like, how he, like, develops through the series.
06:38Me and GK, so I need to have quite different opinions on this.
06:41Yeah.
06:42Are you a fan?
06:43I find him really funny.
06:45You?
06:45He's my worst nightmare of a campaign.
06:47God forbid someone put me in that campaign.
06:49Why, why, why, why?
06:50I just feel like he's very, his say is what will go.
06:55It's very overpowering.
06:56And sometimes you just need to relax, you know?
06:59You don't ever put my Bev in Skank Rock or whatever it was called.
07:04Don't ever put my Bev in.
07:05What was it called?
07:06Savannah Squirrel.
07:06Savannah Squirrel.
07:06I tell you what, he's got a great bun.
07:08He's got a lovely bun.
07:10His whole body is amazing.
07:11He's like, did you get to feel, like, you know.
07:12I didn't get to feel it, but, yeah.
07:15He's attacked.
07:16He's attacked.
07:17So he's funny, though.
07:18He's very funny.
07:20He's controversial and he's provocative.
07:21But you said we need that.
07:23Oh, as a viewer, we absolutely need a David Hay in that.
07:27But Scott Moffat, I mean, she is true I'm a celeb legend status as is.
07:33Oh, yeah.
07:34To have her in there must have been really, really cool.
07:37She is the cutest, funniest thing.
07:40But for her, her and Adam were in the camp together before.
07:43So they were like, it was like a high school reunion for those two.
07:46And just the laughter, the passion.
07:49She was, like, so excited about everything.
07:53So many people like that as well.
07:54I love it.
07:54She got bit on the bum in one of the trials.
07:57She did.
07:57She didn't actually know what it was, I don't think.
07:59Lucky her.
07:59Terrifying, though.
08:00You can't see it.
08:01And you're like, something's biting me on the bum.
08:02No idea what it is.
08:04And then, obviously, at the end, you come in with your visor,
08:08which I don't even think you put down properly.
08:11Is it a visor?
08:12Yeah, it's a sun visor that I've always worn.
08:14I've worn this visor for, like, 40 years.
08:16Oh, wow.
08:16Because it's, like, sort of protects your skin.
08:18But also, my theory was that it would stop things getting me.
08:21It would stop things getting me.
08:23So it's like, instead of wearing sunglasses, the whole face is shielded.
08:26And then bugs can't get me.
08:28It's a smart woman.
08:28But then they were like, Sneeta, can you lift the visor?
08:30Because we can't see your face.
08:31And I'm like, you do so incredibly well in your trial.
08:36And I can't wait to discuss that with you.
08:38But first, Sean Walsh comes in.
08:41Mixed feelings, actually, I had with Sean.
08:42Oh, burly, man.
08:44The big burly man.
08:45It's like, what's Sean Walsh like when you're sort of, like, around him?
08:49Oh, okay.
08:50I'm just going to say how I'm going to say it.
08:52No, I'm thinking, should I say that?
08:53But for me, he was almost like the nerdy guy.
08:55Yeah.
08:55Yeah.
08:56Is that right?
08:56Yeah.
08:57I'm sorry to call him the nerdy guy.
08:58But he's like the nerdy guy.
09:00But then he's coming out with these one-liners that are kind of strange.
09:04Not really jokes, but just another perspective of stuff.
09:06So you spend a lot of time going, hmm.
09:09Who are you?
09:09I was like, what?
09:11This guy, you know.
09:13I was kind of confusing and intriguing.
09:15But nerdy, but sweet, like really kind.
09:18Yeah.
09:18I don't think I properly understood that he was a comedian.
09:22I thought he was somebody.
09:23It's always good.
09:23I thought he was.
09:24Sorry.
09:24But he was funny.
09:25But I thought he was somebody.
09:26I thought he was somebody else.
09:28So then I was like, oh, of course you're that guy.
09:30Okay, now I get it.
09:31But I kind of thought, I don't know if I thought he was a chef or something else.
09:35A chef?
09:35A chef.
09:35He couldn't cook in the other camp, could he?
09:38He couldn't even put the fire on.
09:39No.
09:39I can't wait to see more from him because I actually think he's going to turn out to be one
09:43of the, or one of my favourites anyway.
09:45Yeah, he's hilarious.
09:46Now, two of my absolute favourites do hold the whole show together, Ant and Dec.
09:50Now, they caught up with Kemi in South Africa.
09:53Let's see what they had to say.
09:54Boys, how lovely to see you, not in the jungle this time, in the bush.
09:58Yeah, look at this.
09:59Look at it.
10:00Stunning.
10:01Nice to be somewhere different here in South Africa.
10:03Yeah.
10:03You guys must be so excited.
10:05Oh, we're thrilled.
10:06I mean, we did it three years ago and had a blast.
10:10Yeah.
10:10And we knew that if we've got a chance to come back and do this series again, there's so many
10:14great names to kind of use on the show.
10:17And I think we've got the best.
10:19Were you surprised that any of them have come back?
10:21Sunita, first things first.
10:23Well, she had such an unpleasant time the first time around.
10:25So why would she do it again?
10:27Redemption.
10:28I think it's redemption.
10:29And I think a lot of people, when they come out of Australia, as we know, a lot of people
10:33say, oh my God, it was the most magical time that I had in there.
10:35So to get the offer to do it again, somewhere different, is a bit hard to turn down.
10:40It's very, very tempting.
10:41So what is amazing about this show is that we get to put them all back together and see what
10:47kind of alchemy comes out of all those guys getting back in the same camp.
10:52It's funny because obviously seeing all the ex-campmates, like you say, they always just say, oh, I love it.
10:57I genuinely thought it was like Stockholm Syndrome.
10:59They just say it was like a magical time.
11:01They go home, readjust, have hot dinners again and realise, God, I'm never doing that again.
11:05So it was really surprising.
11:06And you've got such an amazing cast this year.
11:10Sir Mo Faris.
11:11Sir Mo.
11:12Well, he only ever done I'm a Celebrity in Wales, in the castle.
11:16So he remembers I'm a Celebrity.
11:18His experience was cold and a bit wet.
11:20Of course.
11:21So he's never experienced anything like this.
11:23Same with Beverly.
11:24He kind of jumped at the chance.
11:25Yeah, same with Bev.
11:26Same with Bev.
11:26And then we've got quite a few different personalities.
11:28Do you think we're going to see any clashes this season?
11:30Is it going to be very like lovey-dovey?
11:32What are your predictions?
11:33I don't think it will be as lovey-dovey as Australia has been in the last couple of years.
11:38Because there's so many big personalities.
11:40Yeah.
11:41And you've got someone like David Hay, for example, who doesn't mince his words and knows who he is and
11:46won't really compromise for anyone.
11:49No, well...
11:49Whether you think he's right or wrong, like that's just his way of doing it.
11:52And in David Hay's mind, David Hay's always right.
11:55And as David has already said...
11:56David Hay.
11:57David Hay.
11:57You have to put that same second name, yeah.
11:59As David Hay has already said, it's tougher.
12:02Yeah.
12:02The challenges so far have been much tougher.
12:04It's taken them by surprise.
12:06And as they go on as well, there will be times where they have to look after number one in
12:11their pursuit to become the I'm a Celebrity Legend.
12:14So it's not all about, oh, it's down to the public ball.
12:16Yeah.
12:17Sometimes you have to be ruthless to get through on this.
12:20It's winner takes all, you know?
12:21Oh, my goodness.
12:22Are they going to start fighting then, maybe?
12:24Woo!
12:24Biggest girl!
12:25He'll win, won't he?
12:26Xbox that.
12:27Well, all the challenges and the trials.
12:29What an epic start.
12:31Yeah.
12:31Sunita redeemed herself.
12:34How surprised were you at Sunita?
12:37We thought, ah, she's going to lose this.
12:39But then she kind of, and she was a little bit, you know, unsteady to start with.
12:43And it was true.
12:43They were neck and neck.
12:44We thought, Sean's got this.
12:45He's got this.
12:46And then she just jumped.
12:47Why did he take time?
12:48He was just kind of dilly-dallying about it.
12:50I did not think she was going to do it.
12:52It was nice to see her proved right and probably actually was great for her confidence as well.
12:56Yeah, absolutely.
12:56It shocked him, though.
12:57It did really shock.
12:59Also, you guys are really cruel.
13:01Split camps immediately.
13:02I know.
13:03From the get-go.
13:04I know.
13:04Oh, my goodness.
13:06Do you want to become a legend?
13:07You're savage.
13:08It's full good cop, bad cop.
13:09I love this.
13:10You're like, yeah, work for it.
13:11You're going to work for your spot in the legend.
13:13I'm not going to give it up easy, you know.
13:14David sending Beverly.
13:16That was a...
13:16That shocked everybody.
13:18Yeah, okay.
13:18I wonder what your thoughts on that, because I was shook.
13:20That was harsh.
13:21That was harsh.
13:22I might be harsh, but that was harsh.
13:23I couldn't believe it.
13:24Do you think he's just gone full sportsman mode and he's sending home the weakest link?
13:30Yeah.
13:30Bev is tough stuff.
13:32I think she's going to be fine in Savannah's Club.
13:33What do you guys think?
13:34Yeah, I think she's made up tough stuff.
13:35I think David has underestimated Beverly.
13:37Yeah.
13:38And she'll handle it in Savannah's Club, but I was really shocked when he did it.
13:43It's going to be interesting to see if eventually they come back together, what that relationship is going to be
13:48like.
13:48Well, she'll be around.
13:49Beverly will want to have a word with her.
13:53She won't hold back.
13:54Really?
13:55No.
13:56How do you think they're going to cope in Savannah's Club?
13:58Because I don't know.
14:00They don't seem to be many cooks.
14:01They can't really light the fires.
14:03I don't think they're going to cope very well.
14:05Do you have to intervene?
14:06Is there some sort of health and safety at some point if they've not eaten for like three days and
14:09they can't light the fire?
14:09No.
14:10You can survive three days without food.
14:12Oh, yeah, yeah.
14:13You can.
14:14As long as we give them water.
14:15Yeah, true.
14:16And it's really open to the elements, you know?
14:17Yeah.
14:18Whereas in Australia, you're kind of covered by the rainforest a bit.
14:22You know what I mean?
14:23Whereas at Savannah's Club, you've got the wind howling through at night.
14:26You can see the stars, which is beautiful.
14:29Yeah.
14:29But it gets cold.
14:30We need to talk about the new campmates we're going to be getting tomorrow night.
14:33Uh-huh.
14:33Gemma Collins.
14:34Yes.
14:35And Craig Charles.
14:36What a cliffhanger you've left us with.
14:38My goodness.
14:40Personally, very excited for Gemma Collins.
14:42If I never thought she would ever step foot anywhere near you guys again.
14:46Well, we...
14:47Either did we.
14:48We thought the same.
14:49She's going for it.
14:50Yeah.
14:50So, again, you know, she seems to be more determined.
14:54It's...
14:54What has it been?
14:5512 years.
14:5512 years.
14:56Yes.
14:562014.
14:57Yes.
14:57Since she was in there last time.
14:59If she can last longer than three days, she'll already have bettered what she did in Australia.
15:03That's true.
15:03And, of course, then Craig Charles.
15:05Craig had to leave, unfortunately, in his series the same year as Gemma because his brother sadly passed away.
15:11So, he felt he never got the full experience.
15:13So, he's come back to take it on again and hopefully have the full experience this time.
15:18Well, we've got a really exciting series coming up.
15:20Sure have.
15:21Is there anything you can tell us?
15:22Obviously, you know, we're already in split camps.
15:23Is there anything else that you can tell us about?
15:25I can tell you it gets better and better and better and tougher.
15:30It's tougher than, I'm a celebrity, Australia.
15:32Much tougher.
15:34But, as a viewer, if you keep watching night by night, it gets better and better and better.
15:38Yeah.
15:39And they are surprised how tough it is.
15:41It takes them by surprise.
15:43And it kind of knocks them off kilter a little bit.
15:45Okay.
15:45And there's a fair share of drama along the way as well.
15:49Oh, I love a bit of drama.
15:51It's not all happy families.
15:52It's certainly not.
15:53Oh, are we going to wait for that?
15:54Cheers, boys.
15:55So, this is different.
15:57I don't think I've ever seen Ant and Dec give that much away, for one.
16:02And so gleeful.
16:03And so gleeful about it.
16:05They love it.
16:05But, look, Sanita, we can't go in it, like, too much.
16:08But I would love to know, is there truth to that?
16:11Does it get a little bit spicy?
16:12It gets so spicy that you just think this cannot be happening.
16:17You know, and it's hard.
16:18It's really, really, really tough.
16:19Why?
16:20Every trial was just more, you know, if before you had to sort of put that in your mouth,
16:25this time you've got, like, a five-day buffet.
16:27It was madness.
16:28Everybody, even David Hay, had to admit, like, wait a minute.
16:32Yeah.
16:32You know, his thing was, goddamn.
16:34He was saying that a lot because he couldn't believe what was going on.
16:37Well, I mean, on David Hay, he had probably one of the most controversial moments in episode one,
16:43which, by the way, for a first episode, because the first episode for anything like this is normally a setup,
16:48right?
16:48It's like a format thing.
16:49There was so much to dissect, even in ep one.
16:53Obviously, there were a lot of decisions to be made as well.
16:56Ashley obviously had to pick a teammate.
16:58They had to pick between David and Scarlett for the trial as well.
17:02And then, obviously, the biggest decision, which is our Bev getting sent down to Savannah Scrub.
17:09That was horrible to watch.
17:10I don't think anyone wanted poor, our sweet, apart from GK, actually.
17:14GK was ready for her to go, but no one else wanted poor Beverly to be sent down there.
17:19No, no, no, no, because nobody wanted to go there.
17:22I mean, David actually should have gone there because he had the stank attitude, right?
17:26Well, he didn't want to pick you as well to start with.
17:28He didn't want to pick me. He was like, well, you know, they were trying to politely pick everybody.
17:32And it was really like that thing at school when you're the last person.
17:35And I'm not used to that because I was sporty at school.
17:37So I was usually one of the first picked for netball and things like that.
17:42I know the feeling.
17:43So to be the one that's standing there and they're just like, hmm.
17:45And I'm thinking, okay.
17:46And then he went, well, it's obvious, isn't it?
17:48You've either got the big burly men or you've got that.
17:51I think it was he ate his words, though.
17:53I think it was that or it.
17:54He ate his words, you smashed it.
17:56GK, do you think that it was the right move for David to send our little Beverly down?
18:02Our Bev could barely walk on that terrain.
18:06Let alone live in that camp, which the beds are made of like just pure woods.
18:14I think that was evil.
18:16I don't know what happened to chivalry.
18:19It's dead.
18:19No, no, no.
18:20He doesn't do chivalry.
18:21David's like every man for himself.
18:23And he's really, really tough love.
18:24It's like, you know, Adam got it a lot, actually.
18:27Really?
18:28Because Adam, you know, could get tearful sometimes.
18:30And he would just be like, no, no, no, no.
18:32And we'd all be like, oh, Adam.
18:33I'd stop that.
18:35Just stand up, you know, put yourself together.
18:37Oh, no.
18:38He doesn't.
18:39Sunita, are you giving too much away?
18:42I love it.
18:43I adore it.
18:44I think I did my trials because I scared David.
18:46Maybe that works out quite well.
18:48So basically, what we're saying is David like set the tone for sort of like this entire series.
18:53We're here to be legends.
18:54We're here to be legends or to be Molly Coddle.
18:56He'd be an awful therapist, though.
18:58So I'm glad it was the jungle instead of that.
19:00GK, you said that obviously it came back to bite him.
19:02And it did, right?
19:03Yeah, you absolutely smashed it.
19:05You're not the gracious loser or anything.
19:08He would have made sure everyone knew.
19:09If you listened to me, we wouldn't have had that.
19:11We would have been right.
19:12Look at her.
19:12Why should we have chosen her anyway?
19:13Yeah.
19:14And you flew across the sky.
19:15Now we're eating rice and they're over there eating that.
19:17Yeah.
19:18I will say this, okay?
19:19I'm going to give him this.
19:20Okay.
19:21He, I think, is exactly what I, as a viewer, want.
19:26I want to see someone who is so set in their ways.
19:29I don't necessarily agree with him, but I find it fascinating.
19:32You don't want everyone to get along all the time.
19:34But how can you be a champion without that?
19:36Well, exactly.
19:37It's a completely different mentality.
19:39I mean, me and GK, we were setting this actually and watching the show.
19:41We'd be gone at one, mate.
19:43First out.
19:43We'd be gone first.
19:44We wouldn't have the backing of the audience.
19:45No.
19:45The viewer can't get involved.
19:47We'd be straight back home.
19:49David would go, Grace and Sam have hysterically cried for 20 minutes today.
19:53They need to leave.
19:55And I think, but do you know what?
19:56You are right.
19:57And it's such a different show.
19:59There's more motivation to be like the legend.
20:01And I think that's what he's gone in there thinking.
20:03So he is doing it the right way.
20:05I just would like to live with him.
20:07Positive mindset.
20:08Yeah.
20:08It was almost like that thing.
20:10Tunnel vision.
20:10Look, Beverly said that she was coming for him.
20:13Yes.
20:13And she, do we, do we, I don't know if she, she said she was going to chin him.
20:17She was going to chin him, yeah.
20:18At one point.
20:19And it was Adam Tonson, please, please don't do that.
20:21Don't do that.
20:22But the train took her out.
20:24Yeah.
20:25Yeah, no, bless her.
20:27Yeah, because sexy little Bev, but she did, you know, she did try to get scrappy with Dave,
20:31but it was kind of like, you know, she wanted to get him.
20:35Yeah.
20:35Because Dave doesn't care.
20:36Well, Joey, he reminds me so much of David Brent.
20:40He just gives me office vibes.
20:43He reminds me of my son, but my son's 19.
20:46Just saying.
20:48It says a lot.
20:49But it's when the cameras pan and like, was it Scarlet went, this is so magical.
20:54And it just pans to Dave.
20:55And he's just straight faced.
20:56Is it?
20:58And I feel like sort of David went for a more sort of male dominated decision making scheme.
21:04You know, he obviously wanted Sean Walsh over you.
21:07And you proved him completely wrong.
21:10That's all great.
21:10You were fabulous on your trial.
21:13I can't even believe it.
21:14I was in a state of disbelief.
21:16And then I realised, look, I'm going to fall anyway, because my legs are too gone.
21:20So what if I just run?
21:22And I could see him kind of grabbing for the star.
21:26Let's really sort of dissect this moment.
21:28Because this is huge for you, Sunita.
21:30Because Sean's just got to the end.
21:32Yeah.
21:32I'm still back here.
21:33You're just back by a tiny bit.
21:35At what point in your head have you gone, I'm going to run and jump into the abyss and double
21:41clutch the star as I fall down to my doom at the bottom?
21:46It's absolutely, it's brilliant, Ellie.
21:49But me and GK were like, gosh, I couldn't believe it.
21:52Like, how did that feel when you sort of like come out triumphant with that star in your arms?
21:57It was the best feeling in the world.
21:59It's like, this is what I came for.
22:01Yeah.
22:01I mean, I was, I think I was crying.
22:03I think I was superhero posing.
22:05It was just like, there I was hanging in the air with this star and just thinking, okay.
22:11Almost like, if I have to go home now, at least I did this.
22:14Well, talking about that, it looked like you didn't want to let the star go.
22:16No.
22:16It looked like you wanted to sort of take it back to camp with you.
22:19I have it.
22:20I actually have it at home.
22:21Do you?
22:21Yeah, because I was literally like, I'm not giving this garb.
22:24You don't understand what this means to me.
22:25It's like symbolic for my whole life.
22:28It's like I'm now this older woman doing something that I'm terrified of and I've succeeded.
22:34And I need the star to just remind me.
22:37Would you say he was spurred on by sort of David not picking you first?
22:41And you were like, do you know what?
22:42I'm going to go and prove him wrong.
22:44Do you know what?
22:44I don't know if that was in my head.
22:47Or if it was just absolute terror that I'm going to fall off this thing.
22:52But once I was in the air with that thing, I was thinking about David then.
22:56Like if that's when I struck my superhero pose.
22:59Like, you want me now, don't you?
23:01Yeah.
23:02When you walked in, by the way, today, GK goes, gosh, she just oozes cash.
23:08Yeah.
23:08Cash.
23:09She's just like.
23:10She was like.
23:10You've got like an aura.
23:12She's like, you just have class.
23:14Oh my gosh.
23:15It was like me in a royal.
23:17A royal.
23:18It was.
23:18Yeah.
23:18So you and Savannah scrub.
23:20It just doesn't seem right.
23:22No.
23:23It doesn't.
23:23GK, what camp would you rather be in?
23:25Surely you'd rather be in the main camp.
23:26Do you know what I will say, though?
23:28I do sometimes think the worst camp that you're in.
23:31More morale.
23:31The better the vibes.
23:32Because you're like, right, I've just got, we've got to do it.
23:35We're all in this together.
23:36But you can take the mick out of everyone in the main camp, living it up.
23:40So sometimes I do think that's better.
23:41But if there was no fire and there's baboons or whatever they were, I'd like to be in the main
23:47camp.
23:47You wouldn't sleep.
23:48Yeah.
23:48No.
23:49And let's face it, there would have been tears pretty quickly.
23:51Yeah, I'd just cry on the whole series.
23:53Yeah, because to be fair, you were crying over the white jumpsuit.
23:56I was, you see, and it was really heartbreaking.
23:58The dry cleaners did an awful job after that, Sunita.
24:01And the black bomb.
24:01Yes, well, I do, I like to arrive in style with everything on show.
24:05They messed you up.
24:06That was all right.
24:07That was all right.
24:07I just wanted to get the views in, you know, right?
24:10First step, it counts.
24:12Let's talk about the long drop.
24:13I'd never thought I'd say that.
24:14How does it work?
24:16Everyone's walking into both camps and they're saying that there's no door.
24:20Yeah.
24:21What's going on there?
24:22The door was a curtain, but it was pinned up.
24:25Yeah.
24:26So we did sort of think, right, that's it.
24:28And it was kind of elevated on a sort of throne type thing.
24:31And so you're like, okay, there it is.
24:32It's bad enough without having an audience, right?
24:36It's like, that's the one place where you can't be seen.
24:39Guess what?
24:40Smart.
24:40I volunteered early.
24:42It's clean.
24:43You're right.
24:43That's a very good point.
24:45You're right.
24:45And so it's called a long drop.
24:47Yeah.
24:47But by the end of the week, you are dragging this thing and you're trying for it to not splash.
24:52I had to learn the whole method of put the lid on first and then drag it because I couldn't
24:56lift it.
24:56Well, it's always a bit intense as well in the first few days because there's the most amount of people
25:00in camp and everyone's still got the sort of the food that they've eaten prior to going into the camp.
25:05And the nose making them go.
25:07And the nerves, of course.
25:08Yeah.
25:08So the first few days are quite intense.
25:10Savannah Scrub didn't have a door.
25:12No.
25:12I'm pretty sure to the dunny.
25:14I think they must have had a door.
25:15I think they did.
25:15But the point is that they didn't realise the curtain was there.
25:18They were probably just, you know, letting it all out.
25:21And they were just having to sort of clap or say, I'm in the loop.
25:24Oh, my goodness.
25:25GK, imagine GK clapping.
25:28Absolutely not.
25:29Wait, wait.
25:29Okay, let's just do a quick exercise.
25:31All right.
25:31So, GK, you're on the bathroom.
25:33Okay.
25:33You're doing a number whatever you're doing.
25:35You hear footsteps approaching.
25:36And you hear me approaching, right?
25:38And I'm going and I'm like, oh, I could really do with a...
25:41And I don't know you're there.
25:43What are you doing?
25:43Sam!
25:45Stop!
25:47Leave the lesbian alone!
25:50That's what I'd say.
25:50So, none of these...
25:52No, I would be shouting.
25:54Because I definitely recognise your footstep.
25:56You should be skipping along to the door.
25:58Skipping along already.
25:58Yeah, so I'd be able to know.
25:59Anyone else, free game.
26:01I could so imagine you just screaming, please!
26:04Please!
26:05Don't lift up that curtain.
26:07And I'll tell you what, Savannah's scrubbeds are horrific.
26:10Just wedges of wood, right?
26:12Just wedges of wood.
26:12Yeah.
26:13Awful.
26:14But main camp looked lovely, though.
26:15There was a hammer.
26:16I was partial to a hammer.
26:17Hammock was good.
26:17Loved a hammer.
26:18Yeah.
26:19I preferred a hammer.
26:19Looked like the Ritz in there.
26:21Do you know what I like to spell?
26:21David goes, don't like a hammer.
26:23David was like...
26:24No one else.
26:25Don't have a hammer.
26:26You know, the hammocks were actually better than the hammocks, because I had both.
26:29Because somebody needed the hammer.
26:32Honestly, my back's killing me.
26:33I'm dying.
26:34Oh, Salita, you're my favourite person.
26:37I adore you.
26:39You are so great.
26:40And we live quite close to each other.
26:42We're neighbours.
26:43We are neighbours.
26:43So very excited to go for a coffee.
26:45I think you've come on so...
26:47You must be so proud of yourself.
26:49Well, I mean, it's weird, because I can't...
26:51You can't remember.
26:52You do it.
26:53And you block it out.
26:54And you block it out.
26:55And you block it out.
26:57Oh, really?
26:58Yeah.
26:59There's so many things you can't remember until you talk about it.
27:01And then you're like, oh, yes.
27:02Oh, yes.
27:02Oh, yes.
27:03But what I really remember is the people, the time together, and the kind of just being
27:08fascinated.
27:09Like, I'm sitting, talking to people that are not in your regular circle of things, but
27:13that you really respect and admire.
27:15Well, that's what I love as well.
27:17You come across people you're never normally going to come across.
27:19And everyone's got a different background.
27:21Everyone's got a different story.
27:22And I think in Mine and Grace's situation, definitely, you know, everyone's a lot more famous
27:27than we are.
27:27Yeah, everywhere.
27:28So we will go in and we'll be like, God, it's like Tony Bellew.
27:31And they're forced to speak to us.
27:32And they're forced to...
27:32They can't go to...
27:33They contractually obliged to talk to me and GK.
27:35And it's great.
27:37It's very, very fun.
27:38But that's what makes it interesting, is when you sit with someone that you would never
27:40normally be sat with, and they're telling you something, and you're like, wow, what
27:44am I literally doing here?
27:45Yeah.
27:45Sinisa, I've got to say, we've heard Anna and Dec talk about this.
27:49You've let on, you know, not much, but you've let on enough to hook, line, and sink
27:56me.
27:56I am in.
27:57I am sat.
27:59I cannot wait.
28:00Sinisa, thank you so much.
28:03Thank you for having me.
28:04Lovely.
28:05Your hands are just as beautiful as I thought they'd be.
28:07Now, I feel like I've now icked myself out.
28:10Yes, yeah, yeah.
28:11Sinisa, what a pleasure it's been.
28:12GK, you're not going anywhere, because tomorrow night, I'm going to be joined alongside GK by
28:17Chloe Burrows.
28:18I'd love to see you.
28:19I'd love to see you then.
28:19I'm a Celebrity of South Africa continues tomorrow at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX, and we're going to
28:25be here for Unpacked directly after the main show on ITVX, YouTube, Spotify, and all podcast
28:31platforms.
