Trump says Iran can be taken out in one night: "That night might be tomorrow night"

President Donald Trump on Monday told reporters that Iran could be taken out in one night, "and that night might be tomorrow night." Trump made his remarks during a briefing. Trump on Sunday warned Iran in a Truth Social post that "Tuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one, in Iran." Trump has renewed a threat to intensify attacks on energy infrastructures and announced Iran had 48 hours to open up shipping lanes in the Strait of Hormuz, the vital conduit for around a fifth of the world's oil and natural gas supply, which has been largely shut down.
