Salaknib 2026 opens

Major General James Bartholomees, commanding general of the US Army’s 25th Infantry Division, and Major General Efren Morados, vice commander of the Philippine Army, led the opening ceremony of Salaknib 2026 at Fort Magsaysay, Nueva Ecija on April 6, 2026. Troops from Australian and Japan also participated in the exercise.

01:36This year, Salaknip brings together more than 7,000 troops, a powerful demonstration of unity and shared purpose.
01:49More importantly, it represents a convergence of capabilities, experience, and result aim at enhancing our collective defense readiness.
