00:00Happy Easter to you everyone watching me online right now all over the world. I'm Reverend Ezekiel. I'm here today
00:08to preach the gospel of Christ and I've talked to this message about Easter.
00:17You are watching World Exploration right now. World Exploration is about preaching the gospel of Christ by exploring the word
00:28of God from its source. And what is its source? The Holy Bible. That's where you can explore the word
00:36of God.
00:36You see those petroleum engineers when they explore crude oil. They dig oil wells. When they get to an oil
00:47field and they discover oil wells. They explore crude oil through oil rigs. They place their oil rigs on the
00:58oil wells and start exploring crude oil.
01:00In the same way, the word of God can be explored from its source. In this instance, the source is
01:10the Holy Bible. That's where the word of God can be explored. And that's what I'm doing right now.
01:17Remember when Jesus was ascending back to heaven, he said something. He said, go ye into the world and preach
01:24the gospel. And that's the genesis of what I'm doing right now, which I call World Exploration.
01:36So, today I'll be preaching on about Easter. About Easter. That's the title of this message. About Easter. I want
01:47to greet everyone right now. Happy Easter to everyone watching this video across the world right now.
01:54Right now. Right now, I will be exploring the world of God from the source, which is the Holy Bible.
02:00My message today centers on Easter. Now, I'm going to highlight some scriptures this afternoon.
02:10The first time. The first time is Luke chapter 23, verses 1 to 25. Now, if you look at that,
02:20if you read that Bible text very well, this Bible text makes us to understand how Jesus was taken to
02:30the Roman governor for trial.
02:35The Roman governor. The Roman governor named Pilate. Pilate, the Roman governor, sentenced Jesus to death in favor of the
02:45crowd who were shouting, crucify him, crucify him, crucify him.
02:51The second Bible verse I want to highlight this afternoon is Luke chapter 23, verses 26 to 46.
03:01Then Luke chapter 15, verses 21 to 42. These two Bible texts show how Jesus was crucified on the cross
03:13and died on Friday, the day before the Sabbath.
03:19Jesus was crucified on Friday, the day before the Sabbath. And that's why we have to use to call it
03:27Good Friday.
03:28That was when Jesus Christ was crucified on the cross of Calvary.
03:33Now, the third Bible text is Luke chapter 24, verses 1 to 7 and Mark chapter 16, verses 9 to
03:4311.
03:43These two Bible texts confirm the resurrection of Jesus Christ, our Lord, as Jesus rose up from the dead.
03:57Jesus Christ, our Lord, as Jesus Christ, our Lord, as Jesus Christ, our Lord, as Jesus Christ rose up on
03:59the third day, early on Sunday morning.
04:04And that's why we used to celebrate Easter Sunday.
04:08He rose up very early on Sunday morning.
04:11And that's why we celebrated Easter Sunday.
04:17Now, the fourth Bible text is in Mark chapter 16 verses 15 to 19, Matthew chapter 20 verses 16 to
04:2920.
04:30These two Bible texts show how Jesus went back to heaven after he finished the work of salvation.
04:43The work of salvation.
05:01Now, I'm going to introduce another Bible text to you this afternoon that is John chapter
05:103 verses 14 to 17.
05:13And I read,
05:48Now, in a nutshell, Easter is about remembering the great work of salvation.
05:58Jesus came to the world to do by dying for us on the cross of Calvary and thereby shedding his
06:09precious blood to save us and also give us everlasting life, provided that we believe him.
06:19I'm Reverend Ezekiel.
06:22I'm Reverend Ezekiel.
06:23You are watching World Exploration right now.
06:25Now, in my next video, I will preach another message which I've tagged, Beware of Self-Glorification.
06:37So, all until then, thank you for watching.
