00:36Hola, Reed, Victor, Cristina, y Jeremy.
00:41This is Apollo 16 astronaut Charlie Duke.
00:45John Young and I landed on glad to see a different kind of Orion helping return to the moon.
00:51For me, the teachings of Jesus were always a very simple truth of Easter, everyone.
00:59We were talking up here as a crew, and we did want to send a special Easter message on this
01:05day.
01:05And, you know, no matter your faith or religion, for me, the teachings of Jesus were always a very simple
01:15truth of love, universal love.
01:25A little before 2 p.m. Eastern tomorrow, we're going to pass the Apollo 13 distance record by humans, and
01:32that record is 248,655 statute miles.
01:37That's when we break the record.
01:39And then tomorrow evening, around 7.07 p.m. Eastern, we will reach the farthest distance from Earth, at a
01:47distance of 252,760 miles.
01:51That's 4,105 miles farther than Apollo 13.
02:09Thank you.
