00:00At dawn, two men are driving to a jeweler's shop.
00:03The driver, Ben, asks to see the gun and asks him to keep it loaded.
00:08James gets ready, cleans every trace of his presence, and leaves.
00:13He gets into the car and turns on the tracker to locate someone.
00:17He arrives at the location and follows this mysterious man.
00:21He goes ahead, checking him out carefully.
00:23The two men arrive at the jeweler's shop.
00:26The owner, Sammy, asks Ben about his partner.
00:29He says it's his cousin.
00:30He puts diamonds in his briefcase and asks him to come to the back.
00:34Sharon wakes up in her bed and sees that she just had poor quality sleep.
00:38She starts her makeup routine to leave for work.
00:42James, still driving ahead, comes to a halt at a red light.
00:46He turns on a hazard light.
00:47The man stops behind him and asks what the problem is.
00:50James puts on a ski mask and takes out a gun.
00:53He opens the trunk behind.
00:55The man comes out of the car to check when he gets out of the car.
00:58Pointing the gun at the man, he asks him to get into the trunk and forcefully locks him in there.
01:03He then goes to his car and grabs his phone.
01:05He gets back into his car and leaves.
01:08In the jeweler's shop, Sammy informs Ben that it isn't his usual run.
01:12He takes out a diamond that's valued at $3 million.
01:16He asks him to tie it around his ankle and not to tell anyone, including his cousin.
01:21James has arrived at the same jewelry shop.
01:24From the kidnapped man's phone, he messages Sammy that he has arrived.
01:28Sammy comes out with the man and informs them that the car across the street will follow them.
01:33He asks if they have any weapons and the cousin shows him his gun.
01:37He calls it useless and gives them a gun for security.
01:40They get back into the car and drive away as James follows them.
01:44They drive through Highway 101 and go behind a shop to park.
01:48James puts back on his mask and parks beside them.
01:51He points the gun at them and asks them to roll down the window.
01:54He then takes out his phone and shows that some men are already outside D-Ben's house.
02:00James threatens him that his partner is watching his house as insurance.
02:04He asks them to slowly throw their phones with any weapons inside the car and they're forced to do so.
02:11He then gets out and forces Ben out of the car.
02:14Ben asks him to take the suitcase and go.
02:16But James says not to fake one and asks him for the other diamond inside the paper.
02:21Surprised, Ben is forced to take them out of his ankle and hands him over.
02:25He then opens his trunk and throws the man, who was the original security personnel.
02:31He gets back to his car and give the cousin back their phones.
02:34Suddenly, the cousin takes out his original gun.
02:37He hesitates for a moment but shoots anyway.
02:40But the gun misfires.
02:42James speeds away from there.
02:44He drives pretty recklessly and collides with the car.
02:47But still drives on and arrives at a parking garage.
02:50Pretty shaken, he takes out his lens.
02:53He covers the car carefully.
02:55He then goes to the car that's parked beside and leaves.
02:58Sharon, a high-end insurance broker, explains their policy to a wealthy customer, Monroe.
03:05He shows her some of his paintings, which he wants to be insured.
03:08They are talking when a young woman comes.
03:11Sharon mistakenly confuses the woman with his daughter.
03:14But it's his fiancée, Adrian.
03:16She tries to talk to her about ensuring their wedding.
03:19But this does not go well.
03:21Detective Lou arrives at the crime scene and meets with his partner, Tillman.
03:25He informs about the jeweler heist.
03:27They find it odd that the thief knew about the fake diamond and only took the real one.
03:32Lou notices that he has even cut the CCTV wire.
03:35Lou asks the cousin about the misfired shot and wonders why the thief didn't shoot him back.
03:41But they have no answer.
03:43Lou thinks it's the same thief who hits shops on Route 101 and doesn't leave a trace and doesn't hurt
03:49anyone.
03:50Tillman doesn't think so.
03:51Tillman tells him that the lieutenant wants him to change partners.

03:59But he needs to step up for both of their sake.
04:02James moves into a new apartment.
04:04He stores the diamonds in a coffee cup.
04:07Suddenly, he notices a bullet shrapnel grazed him.
04:10He finds blood on his ski mask and wonders if he had left any DNA.
04:15Sharon arrives at her office.
04:17Her co-worker, Phil, asks about the meeting with Monroe.
04:21She says she is very close to finalizing it.
04:24She asks him about the meeting where they will finalize her partnership with the company.
04:28Phil asks her to wait, as they have a lot on their plate.
04:32Sharon is a bit frustrated, as they keep rescheduling it.
04:36James meets with his partner, Money, to exchange the diamonds.
04:40He tells him about the mishap and says that he feels it's a bad omen.
04:44He says it's just one small incident, but James feels that their next job isn't foolproof.
04:50He still has some concerns about it and wants to work on it.
04:53Money asks him to go out to freshen up his mind.
04:55James calls a prostitute, but doesn't find it joyful.
04:59Sharon is still waking up with poor sleep quality.
05:02She is now the next target of James, who is gathering information about her.
05:07Sharon is at a meeting.

05:56Lou asks if he called the courier about the package, but he tells him he emailed about it.
06:01Lou tells his partner that they need to figure out how the thief knew whose account to hack to retrieve
06:06information.
06:07James is meeting with hacker, Devin.
06:09He wants Sharon's social information, including her calendar.
06:13James hands him some money and hires him.
06:16Money meets with a young biker named Orman.
06:18He informs Orman about a job that his guy has already laid out the plan, but he won't do it.
06:24He lost his nerve.
06:25He thinks someone can get hurt, which Orman has no problem with.
06:28At night, James is driving when someone rear ends him.
06:32He comes out and it's a woman.
06:34She apologizes for it and asks about his insurance information.
06:38He wants to give her some money and get it over with.
06:41But she says it's her boss's car and she needs to do it through the proper channel.
06:44He takes out some paper and they exchange information.
06:48Sharon meets with Detective Lou with a proposition to do a polygraph test on Sammy.
06:53He criticizes her for trying to deny his claim.
06:56He tells her the nice job she has.
06:59She asks how his job is making him rich.
07:01He tries to say he doesn't believe money brings happiness.
07:05But she says statistically, people with more money will live a healthy lifestyle.
07:09Her lecture about how humans form a pattern that can be determined by statistics makes Lou think.
07:16Before she can finish, Lou leaves.
07:18She says that they have the right to ask for a polygraph.
07:22Orman follows a man who is making a jewelry run.
07:25Lou is presenting a PPT to his colleagues when Captain comes in to observe.
07:30He shows them all the robberies that were committed in L.A.
07:33He asks to remove all under $500,000, all where any courier isn't active and all where violence is involved.
07:41And lastly, remove all where they found some evidence.
07:44What they are left with is a bunch of robberies that happen around Route 101.
07:49All done by a person who has prior information about the delivery and who doesn't use violence.
07:55Orman follows the courier and sees him going inside the shop.
07:58He attacks the man but can't snatch the suitcase as it's chained.
08:02He threatens everyone in the shop to lie down on the ground and asks if anybody is in the back.
08:08They say no, but when he checks and finds a baby crying, he is pissed.
08:13He asks the man for the key and he says it's in the car, which is a lie.
08:17He thrashes the man and he is forced to give him the key.
08:20He is about to leave but gets greedy seeing the jewelry.
08:24He grabs a woman and demands the jewelry, but she doesn't work there.
08:28So he grabs the employee and asks her to fill his bag.
08:31He then gathers them together and tries to escape, but the door gets locked.
08:36He asks for the switch and it's on the counter.
08:39He pushes it and locks the back door, annoyed with the baby's crying.
08:43But the door gets locked at again.
08:45He orders the manager to open the door and flees.
08:48After Lou's presentation ends, the captain has a word with him.
08:52He asks what his objective is by making some random robberies in a series.
08:57Two of them have even been solved, but Lou says they were wrong.
09:01The captain reminds him that he has the lowest clearance rate of all.
09:05He should have been a captain by now, but he's taking everyone down.
09:08He needs to find a way that works for everybody.
09:11James is looking at the girl's contact, who rear-ended him.
09:14He messages her asking for a date and she agrees.
09:18He meets with Maya at a fancy restaurant.
09:20She asks if he comes there often, and he says yes.
09:24She asks if he is from LA.
09:26He replies positively, but says that he moves a lot for his job.
09:30She asks about his job, and he replies that he does software development for banks.
09:35She says he is a good guy, but she doesn't think it's going to work.
09:38Their vibe doesn't match.
09:40She wouldn't come to such a place.
09:42James says he won't either.
09:44He just thought people would take their date to such places.
09:47Lou is eating out with his wife.
09:49They have fallen apart, and she is also having an affair.
09:53She feels they don't have that spark, that excitement anymore.
09:56She says she will move out soon, and they can start the separation process.
10:01Angry, Lou says he will move out and go to the beach.
10:04Maya and James are having dinner.
10:06She is asking him some questions to know about his personality.
10:10When she asks what motivates him, he says money, which doesn't impress her.
10:15She says she works with musicians and bands.
10:17They are a lot of money, but somehow it's still not enough.
10:21James says he will know when it's enough.
10:24He has a number in mind when he feels safe.
10:27The date ends, and James asks when they can meet up again.
10:30She says maybe and leaves.
10:33Going back, he notices the news of the violent robbery that Orman has committed.
10:38Detectives are at the crime scene.
10:40Tillman thinks that, as the crime happened on Route 101, it's the same guy.
10:44But Lou doesn't think so.
10:46He says their guy never hurt anybody.
10:48It's someone else.
10:50James meets with money.
10:51He demands to know why he gave away his job.
10:53He did all the work.
10:55Money says he thought he didn't want it.
10:57And if he wants to cut, he can have it.
10:59He says it's not about money.
11:00It's about trust.
11:02If this happens again, they are done.
11:04Money says he can't threaten him without him.
11:06He would be nowhere.
11:08James leaves from there while he keeps cursing him.
11:10Sharon has arranged the polygraph test for Sammy, for which he isn't happy.
11:15He tells her that her bosses are parasites and asks if she is a parasite or not.
11:20Money meets with Orman, and he informs him that James is planning something new.
11:25He needs to follow him.
11:26He gives hacker Devin's contact and tells him that if he follows him, he can find him.
11:31He needs to let James do his job and then steal from him.
11:35Devin arrives to meet with James, and Orman is watching them from a distance.
11:40Devin gives James the location of the encryption, where he can find the information.
11:45While leaving, he collides with Orman.
11:48Orman inside sees that his tracker is active.
11:51Back home, James opens the encryption and finds information about Sharon.
11:56He checks out her calendar.
11:58He is now following her.
11:59They are both waiting for their car.
12:01When James strikes up a conversation about cars, she also has an interest in that.
12:06So they find common ground to talk.
12:08James introduces himself as Mike.
12:11Detectives are checking out footage of James' car's last location.
12:15Lou says he switched cars somewhere on the block.
12:18They must search for it.
12:20James has another date with Maya at his place.
12:23She asks why there isn't any picture of his family.
12:25He says he is estranged from them and doesn't feel the need to keep in touch.
12:30She calls her Mystery Man.
12:31She then turns on the music and they dance.
12:34They make love.
12:36James wants her to stay.
12:37She says it's good that he wants that and leave.
12:39James goes outside for some air.
12:41When he notices Orman standing outside.
12:44Orman, seeing that he is watching him, leaves on his bike.
12:49James searches his and finds the tracker.
12:51He moves to a new apartment immediately.
12:54Devin has delivery by Orman.
12:55But he says he didn't order anything.
12:58So he can just keep in the hallway.
13:00Suddenly, Orman bursts in.
13:02Beating him up, he wants to know what information he gave James.
13:05Detectives are still searching the parking lot on the block.
13:08When they find a car covered.
13:10They see it's the car which suspect used in a heist.
13:13They call forensics.
13:14Sharon is at a painting exhibition when he noticed Mike, aka James, there.
13:19He goes to talk to him.
13:20James asks if she wants to go out with him.
13:22Forensics are searching the car.
13:24While Tillman, hearing about Lou's divorce, asks about his next plan.
13:29He says he will join yoga.
13:31The forensics officer informs them that the car is clean except for a small blood stain.
13:36Which should be enough for a DNA test.
13:38James and Sharon are having a date.
13:41She says that because of her job, she has become pretty good at reading people.
13:45He asks her to read him.
13:46She says he is very polished and works on himself.
13:50Which indicates that he is very wealthy.
13:52But didn't grow up with money.
13:54As he craves order.
13:55He asks whether she is talking about him or her.
13:58She says both.
14:00Now, James reveals his real purpose.
14:02He tells him their meeting isn't an accident.
14:04He needs certain information which only she can give him.
14:08For that, she will be rewarded.
14:10But Sharon says he doesn't work with thieves.
14:13He tells her that she should have become a shareholder in her company long ago.
14:16Her bosses are cheating her.
14:18It's time she took something back.
14:20If she changes her mind, post a photo of her on the beach.
14:23He will find her.
14:24As she leaves, James notices Orman following her.
14:29He goes to his car and starts to follow him.
14:32Orman, noticing him behind, takes a sharp turn behind a bus.
14:36After the bus goes, they eye each other.
14:38Orman speeds away and James follows.
14:41A fast chase occurs, going between the cars James keeps tailing.
14:45As Orman looks back, he collides with the car.
14:48James, still in his car, sees him getting up, injured.
14:52He slowly walks away and James follows.
14:55He goes into a mall and James finds him there.
14:58He demands to know whom he works for and what he told him.
15:01But Orman don't give any straight answer.
15:03He then smashes him and points the gun.
15:06He warns him that if he sees him again, he's going to kill them both.
15:09Lou is taking a yoga class where he notices Sharon.
15:13After the class, Sharon approaches Lou, asking if he is stalking him.
15:17Lou says he is just trying new things.
15:20Sharon figures out he is going through a separation.
15:23She leaves, saying it looks good on him.
15:25Lou gets a call that one of their detectives, Townsend,
15:28picked up a call about a mysterious guy hanging around a jeweler's shop.
15:32There is also a car parked, which matches the description of the suspect.
15:36He rushes to the scene and sees two detectives pointing their guns at a thief.
15:41When he tries to run, Townsend shoots him down.
15:44Lou checks on the thief, but it's just a boy.
15:46He asks Towson to cuff him and he calls for an ambulance.
15:50The owner of the mysterious car also shows up.
15:53Townsend comes back and says he had a gun.
15:56Surprised, Lou goes back to check and finds he planted a gun from the victim's bag.
16:00Captain talks with Lou, trying to match their statement.
16:03Lou says the boy didn't draw any weapon.
16:06But the captain says his statement won't match with Townsend or his partner, Tillman.
16:11Both said the suspect had a gun in his hand.
16:13If they don't agree with the statement,
16:15three of them will be suspended until the investigation ends.
16:18The captain says they need to pull together.
16:21But Lou is a man of principle.
16:23Sharon is at another meeting where everyone congratulates Madeline
16:27for closing on the Monroe's wedding coverage.
16:30She informs that he also wants to extend his cover on diamonds,
16:34which he is giving to her wife.
16:36After everyone leaves, Sharon asks Mike about her partnership.
16:40He says they will postpone it next year and advise her to hang tight.
16:43She says he has been saying it for the past few years.
16:46In its time, she will look elsewhere.
16:49And threatens to take her wealthy client with her.
16:52Pissed, Mike tells him she is 53.
16:55They all know what those rich guys are buying and she is not it.
16:58She has no position to threaten them.
17:01Lou is clearing out his desk when a forensic report comes in for Tillman's name.
17:05He grabs it and goes to the washroom to check.
17:08He finds DNA matches to a name, James, and the address of his foster home.
17:14Devastated Sharon is on the beach.
17:16She decides to take a picture and post it.
17:18On a date, James sees the notification.
17:22James picks up Sharon.
17:23She informs him that 5.5 million worth of diamonds will be arriving at the wedding venue.
17:28Also, he will pay it in cash to evade taxes.
17:32Meaning he has the opportunity for 11 million, from which she wants three.
17:37He asks about security and feels it is too risky.
17:40Lou is moving into an apartment beside the beach.
17:43He has taken a case file with him.
17:45At night, Mike goes to James Foster's home address.
17:48A woman answers.
17:49He introduces himself and asks about James' whereabouts.
17:54James gets a forward message.
17:56It's her foster mother, Anna.
17:58She wants to talk to him and asks him to call back.
18:01Lou is still waiting for his call.
18:03Anna thinks it's better if he leaves his number when James calls.
18:06Anna picks up and tells him that a policeman came looking for him.
18:09And he is concerned about his safety.

18:42Suddenly, she gets attacked by Orman.
18:44He viciously beats her to find out what she told James.
18:48After yoga class, Lou sees that Sharon is here to meet him.
18:52She shows him her battered face and informs him about everything.
18:56She asks if her confession can help her with the law.
18:59Lou says if they go to the official channel, she is done for.
19:03He asks if she can stay somewhere else for safety, but she doesn't.
19:06So he offers that she can live with him.
19:09Orman is now following a hotel staff member at the wedding venue.

19:20James, on a date, informs Maya that he has to go out of town for his job.

19:31But James can't tell her anything, so she storms out.
19:34James is angry with himself.
19:36In the morning, Lou and James both get ready for the final heist.
19:41Sharon, living with Lou, comes out.
19:43She finally has a good night's sleep.
19:46Three of them leave for their own mission.
19:48Sharon, in the office, tracking the flight.
19:51James is also doing the same.
19:53He gets out and goes to the security personnel's car, asking for a charger.
19:57Then takes out the gun.
19:58Same as earlier.
20:00Shows him his house footage and takes his phone.
20:02Orman dresses up as a staff member and goes into the hotel.
20:06A mysterious man approaches the courier and takes him away.
20:10James is informed that the courier has arrived.
20:13He picks up this mysterious man with a suitcase.
20:16It's none other than Detective Lou.
20:18A tense drive follows, and James strikes up a small talk.
20:22They both try to understand each other's motives.
20:24At the office, Sharon sees Mark talking to Madeline.
20:28She storms in and tells Madeline that she doesn't need to impress those men.
20:33They will call you Bright Star, promise you a partnership,
20:36but when the time comes, they will throw you.
20:38To Mark, she says whatever time she has left.
20:41She won't waste on them and storms out.
20:44James and Lou arrive at the hotel.
20:46They get into the elevator towards Monroe's room.
20:49Orman is also in the hotel.
20:51He says he is new and has drinks for Monroe.
20:53He finds out Monroe's room number.
20:56James and Lou arrive at Monroe's room.
20:58He and his fiancée, Adrian, are present there.
21:01James locks the door and takes out his gun.
21:03He tells them to get on their knees.
21:05He takes Lou's gun and tells him to put the suitcase on the table.
21:09He asks for the cash.
21:11Monroe says there is no cash, but tense Adrian tells him it's in the safe.
21:15He asks Monroe to open it and moves away, and asks Adrian to fill the bag.
21:20Now he asks Lou to open the suitcase, and he does so and finds a gun there.
21:25When James points the gun at Monroe, Lou takes out the gun.
21:29Pointing at him, say he's a police officer and asks him to put down the gun.
21:33Outside, Orman has arrived and is looking for the perfect time to enter.
21:38James says he's going to shoot, but Lou knows he doesn't hurt anyone and asks him again to put it
21:43down.
21:44Hearing the commotion inside, Orman decides to burst in.
21:48He grabs James and takes his gun.
21:50Hiding behind him, he asks Lou to take his gun down.
21:54But Lou won't, so he shoots Monroe, establishing that he means business.
21:59But Lou still won't.
22:00He asks him to push the suitcase.
22:02Lou says just take it and leave.
22:04But Orman is afraid that he saw his face and keeps asking him to take down his gun.
22:09James is looking to snatch the gun.
22:11Suddenly, a gun fires.
22:13James has shot down Orman.
22:15Lou checks on him, but he is gone.
22:17He says he is about to shoot him.
22:19Lou lowers his gun and tells him to leave.
22:21He will frame Orman for his crime.
22:24Shaken, James leaves.
22:26Monroe is threatening Lou.
22:27He gives him back the suitcase and tells him that he will agree with his statement when the police come.
22:33Unless he wants the authorities to investigate his financial irregularities.
22:38Adrian decided for him.
22:39He tells her to hide the jewelry and money before his colleagues arrive.
22:43He then calls it in.
22:44James escaped empty-handed and shaken.
22:47On the bus, he takes out an envelope with the real diamonds.
22:51Earlier, he exchanged it with counterfeit diamonds from the evidence box.
22:55Sharon sees Lou in her yoga class.
22:58He gives her the diamond to start a new life.
23:00She shows him James' message for the policeman.
23:03It's a picture of a basement with a number.
23:05He arrives at the location and finds a car with that number.
23:08It's James' Chevy Camaro.
23:10Lou drives away with it.
23:12Maya gets a letter from James.
23:13It's a picture of his childhood.
23:16Behind the words written, he was wrong and asking for a second chance.
