46:06That would mean she'd have to swim past your bungalow farther along the beach.
46:12And that would give you opportunity to commit murder.

46:21Yeah, we have security camera footage that shows you leaving the dinner table to get your
46:26glasses at 18 minutes past seven.
46:29I was gone, what, a couple of minutes, three minutes at the most.

47:12And while there, we believe you spiked her drink when she wasn't looking.
47:21We didn't believe Kira was drugged because the finger marks on her neck suggested she was
47:26held down by force and drowned.
47:28We're awaiting the toxicology report and results from the glass Kira drank from.
47:33And I've no doubt we'll get confirmation that there were significant traces of sleeping pills
47:38in her system.
47:39And so, while Miss Mayhew was swimming, she suddenly felt drowsy and swam ashore.
47:48When you returned to your bungalow under the pretense of getting your glasses,
47:53you ran down to the beach where Miss Mayhew was lying unconscious on the sand.
47:58And then you did two things.
48:00First, you grabbed her neck and shoulders, making sure to leave bruises so it would look like someone
48:07had strangled her and forced her under the water.
48:11Before moving her into the sea for her to be carried away, making sure that she was face down
48:18so that still unconscious, her lungs would fill with water.
48:22It took less than a minute.
48:25All you had to do now was hurry back to the dinner table and leave Kira to drown
48:30and let the sea do the rest of the work for you.
48:35We checked with a local oceanologist at the university.
48:39And the current in this bay moves in a northwesterly direction,
48:44which means it would have carried Miss Mayhew's body diagonally,
48:48taking her from your bungalow here to where her body was discovered here.
48:54And with her clothes being left on the beach here,
48:58we'd all assume she swam in a straight line.
49:02Now, you had no idea where the currents would take Kira's body.
49:06So, you had to test it first, didn't you?
49:11You went and found this.
49:14And you threw it into the sea to observe which route it took,
49:17which was conveniently in a northwesterly direction,
49:20from your bungalow directly to where Kira began her nightly swim.
49:24And that's when your plan finally came together.
49:27Kira's body was found still at sea, not long after she drowned.
49:32But this ball, left overnight, ended up washing up ashore.
49:36And that was your undoing.
49:38But why would he do this to her?
49:41Because he didn't want Kira to help his wife remember.
49:45Or remember what?
49:46What he did.
