00:00Trump threw the election and then thereafter said that
00:02Canada should honestly become our 51st state.
00:06Which is never going to happen.
00:09Pierre Polyev, leader of His Majesty's Loyal Opposition.
00:12There's a quite significant probability that you could be Canada's next leader.
00:15And your team said, I can ask you whatever I want.
00:18Okay.
00:19So it appears that the United States have made the decision to kind of go it alone in the world.
00:23And that is a very big strategic mistake.
00:25In Canada's case, we have everything the United States needs if they treat us like a friend.
00:30So for example, we have the fourth biggest supply of oil.
00:33And if you look at the leading five, which of these countries do you think the United States can most
00:38rely on?
00:39And we're looking at the third vial there in the row, Iran.
00:42Has Trump taken the right course of action?
00:44The Iranian government has been extremely hostile and very dangerous to Canada.
00:48They are the leading world sponsor of terrorism.
00:50And there's no doubt in my mind that the only reason that they are enriching uranium is for the purpose
00:55of developing a weapon.
00:57And there's a far greater risk to them having a nuclear weapon than even North Korea.
01:01So the initial actions were definitely necessary.
01:04But how do you think this plays out?
01:05And if Trump had called you and asked for your support, would you have given it?
01:08Well, let's put it this way.
01:11What is the thing that you're most concerned about?
01:13We're overtaxing our population.
01:14We're punishing initiative.
01:16We have 20,000 immigrant doctors who can't work in medicine.
01:19Wages have been destroyed.
01:21Young people can't start a family in this economy.
01:23And that is why the working class across the Western world is so angry.
01:27The other reason why people might be quite angry is because of this.
01:31Right.
01:32This seems to be a familiar story across some Western nations.
01:35It is.
01:35That's why my mission in politics is to reverse that.
01:38The other thing that I actually was really keen to talk about is that you've spoken out against this term
01:42wokeism.
01:42The problem I have with wokeism is...
