00:00Let's do a bounce pass here and go to the tournament here.
00:03Obviously, I mean, everyone's looking at UConn right now.
00:07I love villains in sports, and boy, is Dan Hurley.
00:10He just looks like a villain.
00:12And, you know, you and I, you live in Connecticut.
00:14I'm from Connecticut, and I root for UConn, and I'm rooting for UConn here.
00:20Let's start here with Illinois and UConn.
00:23How do you see this game playing out?
00:25I think if you look at the two teams top to bottom, just looking at it on paper,
00:30I would say that Illinois is the better team, even though UConn won the game by 13 earlier this season.
00:35That's a whole other time of the year in November.
00:38On paper, Illinois is the best team, better team in this matchup in terms of bigger, better shooters.
00:44They're just a better team.
00:45But UConn does not lose.
00:47Like, if anybody has figured that out yet, Dan Hurley and UConn do not lose.
00:51They've won 17 of 18 tournament games.
00:53They haven't lost past the Sweet 16 yet.
00:55They got two national titles.
00:56They're in their third Final Four.
00:58And, by the way, they've covered in 16 to 17 games, which is unheard of.
01:01It's one thing to win them, but they've covered.
01:03And, obviously, the one team they lost to, you see it behind me, the University of Florida, who won it
01:07all last year.
01:08Their one loss was by two points to a team that wound up winning the title.
01:11So betting or picking against Dan Hurley and UConn is not a good idea.
01:16And I say that from a guy who's involved in sports betting.
01:19But I do think Illinois is the better team, and there's the reason why they're favored.
01:22And I actually agree with the line with Illinois being a one-and-a-half to two-and-a-half
01:26-point favorite.
01:27I just would never pick against UConn.
01:29And, Dan, not to throw an excuse out there, but I live in the state of Connecticut, as you know.
01:32And you can't bet on UConn.
01:34Those games are not on the board.
01:35I open my DraftKings and FanDuel app, and there's only one game tonight.
01:39So I'm off the hook because I don't technically have to play the game.
01:42But if I were to bet on it, I would not bet against UConn because if you did, you'd be
01:47bankrupt by now
01:48because they have covered in 16 of the last 17 tournament games.
01:51They'd probably win again.
01:52But if I was betting a bracket, I would go Illinois and Arizona in these two games.
