00:00I think the Illini and Underwood have a really physical, tough, big team, very big and physical.

00:07They are a really good team.

00:09I think they're capable of being a tournament troublemaker.

00:13But is seven too much to give UCLA even though it's in Champaign?

00:18And I don't know if it's injuries or what it is, Scott, but Illinois, to me, Illinois,

00:23I thought they were the best team in the Big Ten earlier in the year.

00:25I was like, well, these guys could make it to the Final Four.

00:27These guys are a scary basketball team.

00:31And then reality sort of starts to kick in a little bit, right?

00:34And they're hit or miss.

00:35And then you get UCLA, UCLA were sort of stumbling out of the game a little bit earlier this

00:41year.

00:42They're in a Big Ten for the first time.

00:43And don't forget, guys, like UCLA, UCLA play, you know, more physical brand of basketball

00:50with Corona than most teams in a Pac-12 did.

00:52So they're going from sort of being the, hey, we play defense here against teams, it's going

00:58into the Big Ten where everybody does that and everybody's big and everyone's physical,

01:01everybody's dirty.

01:02And so UCLA have had to adjust to it a little bit.

01:05Remember when Michigan lit UCLA up, Cronin went off after.

01:08Remember, you and I talked about it.

01:11It was extreme, but he was trying to, you know, make a point.

01:13So he ripped the kids, you're a disgrace to the jersey.

01:16And this is an embarrassment.

01:17We're not going to win another game this year in a Big Ten if you play like that.

01:22So Michigan beat him up pretty good in LA and Cronin went off.

01:25They didn't respond well to it after.

01:27They got killed again after, and then he softened it up a little bit, right?

01:31It was more, hey, listen, the kids are trying, right?

01:34And he realized, okay, this group wasn't good to like rip them like that.

01:38We got to go softer on this.

01:41And then if you'll notice, Scott, dude, they're rattled off like 9 of 11 now or something.

01:45They're in a little bit of a groove, right?

01:47It takes the coach, guys.

01:49You know, you've been around coaches, Scott.

01:50Not every team is the same.

01:52You can't just say the same things to guys, right?

01:54I remember Roy Williams a couple of years ago flipped out at North Carolina.

01:58They lost like a bunch of the row and he apologized after he goes, it was the wrong thing to do.

02:02Like I just, it was the wrong group to do that with.

02:05You got to know your group.

02:07And yeah, six and a half, seven, Scott, I think this game comes down to the wire, bro.

02:11And the other thing is UCLA go over more than people realize.

02:14People don't like betting they're over.

02:15So like the Houston Cougars who went over last night, people don't like betting certain

02:18teams to go over and end up going over the number.

02:21I'm a big proponent.

02:22I like UCLA games to go over and I like them, especially love them when they're getting

02:26points.

02:27And I think they're used to the travel right now.

02:29Remember earlier Cronin was complaining, Oh, we've seen the Statue of Liberty three times

02:32already this year.

02:33It's like, well, you're in a big hangout, bro.

02:36Would you, uh, would you go after him if you were the Indiana athletic director and try

02:43to steal him from UCLA?

02:45And would you leave if you were crowding to go to Indiana?

02:51I would Scott.

02:52I know you would love to see him, uh, in Indiana.

02:55I think he's a perfect fit, right?

02:58He's a horse racing guy.

02:59He's, you know, he's not Midwestern.

03:01He's not a good fit in Los Angeles to begin with.

03:03It seems to be kind of a strange fit, but he's making it work, right?

03:07He's changing the, the sort of dynamic of the UCLA program that used to kind of be softer

03:11run and gun, but Oh man, he would be perfect for Indiana without a doubt.

03:17And it sounds crazy to say this, if there's less pressure at UCLA than there is at Indiana,

03:25but he's got a pretty good thing in Los Angeles.

03:27There's not that much pressure.
