28:34Jack, I want to ask you a bunch of things
28:36About The Boys too
28:37But I also want
28:38I know you're into improv comedy
28:41Yeah, I do a lot of sketch
28:43But occasionally someone will have me on their improv show
28:45And recently this was really, really cool
28:48There's this amazing comedian named Connor Ratliff
28:50Does all these shows out here
28:52Yeah, we have some fans in the audience
28:53Yeah, very good
28:55He does this thing called The George Lucas Talk Show
28:57He does this amazing podcast called Dead Eyes
29:00But recently he had me on a show called The Acting Class
29:02It's like a fake acting class
29:04And it gave me the opportunity to do improv with my mom
29:08Which was insane
29:09Who is the coolest
29:10The one and only Meg Ryan
29:12Of course
29:12Come on now
29:15We love her
29:16Yeah, it was great
29:17She was
29:18How was she?
29:19She was amazing
29:20She got like, I mean, no surprise
29:22But like giant laughs
29:23Yeah, she knows how to do it
29:24She didn't really know what it was
29:26Because I wasn't pitching it well
29:27But she was like, I just want to be part of your world
29:30I just want to see what you do
29:32And she crushed it
29:34Yeah, of course she does
29:35When did you first get into sketch comedy?
29:37I first got into sketch comedy when I
29:39Like when I was a kid
29:40I would make like movies on my, you know
29:42Like a video camcorder with my friends
29:44Yeah
29:45I made like a 50 minute long movie with my friends
29:48Called Bicycle Cops
29:50It's technically a comedy
29:52And you get to watch us go through puberty in real time
29:55Wow
29:56We shot in sequence
29:58We didn't know that you could do it out of sequence

30:05No, that's good and long
30:07Yeah, very good and long
30:08And then I got to NYU
30:09And I got into the sketch comedy group

30:12So every month I was like doing a sketch show

30:16I think I know Hammercats
30:17Yeah, there's like a lot of people have come from it
30:20Like back in the day it was like Donald Glover
30:22Then it was Rachel Bloom
30:24Yes
30:24I got there and I was with like
30:26Steph, Oscar winner Steph Shue
30:28Yeah
30:29Um, Bowen Yang, Matt Rogers
30:31And then after us were like the Please Don't Destroy kids
30:34Oh yeah
30:34So it was, yeah
30:35It was, it was a blast
30:36I, I loved doing it
30:37True
30:37Uh, your first thing that you, that you ever started
30:39Was a show called Vinyl
30:40Which I loved
30:41Yeah, thank you
30:42You were the one person that watched it
30:43Yes
30:44I really appreciate that

30:45It was by, uh, Martin Scorsese and Mick Jagger
30:48Mick Jagger was a producer
30:49Yeah, it was incredible
30:50I would do anything if they, if they were
30:52That's a great party to be in
30:53It was great
30:53It took place in the 70s
30:55It was about the music industry
30:56And I remember like, yeah
30:57Mick Jagger was a producer
30:58I'm like 22
30:59This is my first show
31:00I'm so intimidated by literally everything and everyone
31:03Yeah, of course
31:04Uh, and I remember wrapping a scene one day
31:06And, you know, Mick Jagger would come by set sometimes
31:08But you never really expected him
31:10And I remember walking down a hallway
31:11Just having wrapped a scene
31:12And then he came around the corner
31:14And just went, great scene, yeah
31:16Wow
31:16And no one prepared me for Mick Jagger whatsoever
31:20No
31:21Wait, wait, what do you even do then?
31:22Do you just
31:23You, you go like, yeah
31:24Yeah
31:25Thank you
31:26Great scene, that was the one
31:27That, that, that was great
31:29Yeah, great
31:29It's like I'm back there
31:31It's insane
31:31Yeah, yeah, yeah
31:32But like, in reality, he probably was like, great scene

31:35But in your story
31:36Oh, I filled in dancing
31:37He's on stage
31:38Yeah, pointing his fingers
31:39Fingers, yeah, he's so cool
31:41Uh, let's talk about The Boys
31:42Yes
31:43Uh, it's brilliant
31:44The final season
31:45I'm, I'm bummed that it's the final
31:46But I'm psyched that it's coming back
31:47Because I want, I love it

31:49It's coming out next week
31:50And, uh, so what was it like shooting that
31:53Did you and the cast
31:54I mean, you obviously know that it's ending
31:56I, we know it's ending
31:57Thank God we knew going in
31:58And this is like, you know
32:00Eric Kripke's intentional ending for the show
32:02Like, we're ending on our own terms
32:04Which is just so special
32:05It never gets to happen in TV anymore
32:07Yeah
32:07Um, but it was great
32:09Like, I've known these people for like, nine years
32:11It's like five seasons
32:13But it's been nine years
32:14Of just being on this absolutely insane show
32:17Are you totally
32:18It is insane show
32:19Yeah
32:20Are you all bonded?

32:22We're so bonded
32:22We do this thing now
32:23When, uh, you know
32:25We shoot really long hours
32:26And, um, once we hit around 2 a.m
32:29We're just trying to like
32:29Keep each other awake
32:30And keep each other laughing
32:31So we enter this phase
32:32Which I like to call goof hour
32:34Where we are just
32:35Trying to make each other laugh
32:37At all costs
32:37So there was a moment
32:38Uh, this season
32:40Where I just started doing this thing
32:41I could sense everyone was dozing off
32:42Are you familiar with the gingerbread man
32:45From Shrek?
32:46Of course
32:47Okay
32:47So I would just
