00:00Does targeting civilian infrastructure violate international humanitarian law?
00:07Is this something that's been violated by both sides currently?
00:11Probably, yes. A lot of people could argue that.
00:14But we are in a new world where the rules of engagement are different, unfortunately.
00:20It's not the same.
00:21Look, I mean, can you imagine what does it mean for the Iranian operation to strike the desalination facilities in
00:30a Gulf country?
00:32It means that driving people to thirst.
00:35I mean, this is as bad as you could imagine.
00:38It's not only striking what they have in mind, which is refineries and bridges.
00:44And the same thing with the Americans, when they go ahead and strike the power infrastructure, that means Iran would
00:53be in total darkness.
00:55This is now where this war is at, at a very dangerous intersection.
01:01It is not going to be concluded, as was thought, in a way that would be a victory and a
01:09defeat.
01:10And it's been proven that the Iranians are not willing to lay down their claims to what they think they
01:18are entitled to, which is running the region.
01:21So, therefore, we have a serious problem.
01:25Of course, let me say before I forget, not only the Iranians have been aggressors towards the Arab countries in
01:33recent years.
01:34I think they're very angry that these Gulf states did not take up their own doctrine, the doctrine of the
01:41Iranians, that they decided that they will go for the vision, for the development, for the program of prosperity.
01:49They're angry with them.
01:51And the same thing, they're angry with a country in the region that did not take up the doctrine of
01:58Iran.
01:59They are not going to give this up, whether it is the nuclear doctrine, the missile doctrine, the doctrine of
02:06the proxies, or we call them the arms.
02:11And that has been proven that Iran is willing to use the arms.
02:14And they've been equipped to be very forceful and effective in advancing the doctrine of the Islamic revolution of Iran.
02:25So, we are, on the other hand, you have the Israeli doctrine.
02:30And then it's the siege mentality versus the bazaar mentality.
02:35So, that the Israelis have, you know, no love lost for the Arabs either.
02:39And by fighting their own way into making themselves probably the next Israeli empire,
02:48they're facing the designs of the Iranian revolution to be the Persian empire.
02:53And guess what?
02:54They're using, both are using, you know, Lebanon, because you mentioned Lebanon in the beginning, to have their wars.
03:03So, you could imagine that this is not going to be an easy end, no matter how much destruction is
03:10done.
03:10The fear is that the doctrine will survive and will reincarnate and reinvent itself in a very destructive way.
03:19So, there will hopefully be finality to this war.
03:24But if there isn't one, then we're having a very disastrous situation, except for the United States.
03:31It may emerge as a winner.
03:32If you wish to talk about that, we can.
03:33If you wish to talk about that, we'll see you next time.
