00:14And today I'm going to show you my makeup routine.
00:18And I really don't know a lot about how to do makeup.
00:22So, come join me.
00:23This is my trusty makeup bag.
00:30And I've always wanted to do ASMR.
00:34I'm so excited for this.
00:36There are three separate sections.
00:42And the outside section is supposed to be for brushes.
00:45While the inside is for the makeup.
00:47But I'm lazy.
00:48And very quickly, after, like, a single day, it all becomes for everything.
00:55So, all of my brushes and my makeup itself is right in the middle.
01:00My mom got me this bag for Christmas one year.
01:02Because I was using really janky bags for my makeup.
01:06This has traveled literally all over the world with me.
01:08And is often thrown in the back seat of my little car.
01:11Or the front seat of my mom's car.
01:12Because I'm always doing my makeup in the car.
01:15Okay, let's get started.
01:16I don't really know much about how to do makeup at all.
01:20And I can only do one look successfully.
01:23I'm first going to put the mirror in front of me.
01:30No, that makes no sound.
01:31Okay, we're putting this back.
01:32I have a question for all my glasses girlies.
01:36How do you do your makeup?
01:37Because I've now lost a sense.
01:41I cannot see.
01:43So, when I do my makeup, I can never see.
01:46And I often am like, wow, my makeup looks so good.
01:48And then I put my glasses on and I realize it's just because I was blind.
01:52So, we're going to try today.
01:55But, like, this is far away.
01:57Basically, what I normally do is I find a full-length mirror.
02:00And I sit on the floor cross-legged.
02:02And I just look into it super closely so I can do my makeup.
02:06Or, if I'm in the back seat, which I'm often in Ubers, often I use the big mirror.
02:11Or, I use mini mirrors like this.
02:17As you can see, I use this Charlotte Tilbury powder a lot.
02:20But I also use it for the mirror.
02:23I do have contacts and I do wear them often.
02:26But in my most of the time in my everyday life, I'm wearing glasses.
02:30So, when Kitty gets her makeup done, I'm wearing contacts.
02:33But it doesn't matter because I'm not the one doing the makeup.
02:36Well, I'm not looking into the lens right now.
02:39I'm looking above because I can't see.
02:41I just realized I've been looking at, like, way above the lens once I took my glasses off.
02:46Hey there, I'm back.
02:47That's awkward.
02:48So, we're going to use this guy.
02:51Okay, I already have a base on.
02:52So, most, like, foundation were pretty good.
02:54We're going to go eyes, eyebrows, blush, bronzer, lip gloss.
03:00Let's start.
03:01We're going to start with mascara.
03:03Pause.
03:03We're going to start with general eyes, which I don't know how to do.
03:15Okay, combination.
03:17We have a random eyeliner that was given to me.
03:20I feel like I'm going cross-eyed because I can't see right now.
03:23So, I'm, like, just looking in a general area.
03:25I have an eyeliner from About Face.
03:29I have an Anastasia Medium Brown, which was not the color I actually wanted, but I bought the color by
03:37accident.
03:37And now I just work with it because I didn't want to buy another one.
03:42I don't think that made any sound.
03:44Anyway, we have this.
03:45Then we have a Kaya Multiple.
03:53Oh, that was beautiful.
03:55A multiple layered one.
03:58But I used the bottom layer, so here we go.
04:00First of all, let's start.
04:02Oh, my gosh.
04:03I'm rocking the town here too much.
04:05Let's start with the eyeliner.
04:06I never wore eyeliner until, like, a few months ago because I've always used eyeshadow as an eyeliner with, like,
04:11a skinny brush.
04:12But we're going to start using this because it actually is great.
04:14Okay, here we go.
04:15We have to use this because I can't see.
04:18My makeup journey began.
04:20Well, I wore, like, concealer and blush probably starting in, like, grade nine.
04:26But I really didn't like makeup very much.
04:29And I didn't know how to use it.
04:30I was so not into it when I was even younger than that.
04:32And I feel like a lot of my peers started getting into it.
04:34And I was like, I don't care about makeup.
04:35I'm still a child.
04:37And then I, like, found it later.
04:39And now I really like makeup.
04:40But I still don't really, like, don't bring me to Sephora.
04:43I'm not going to lie.
04:44I, like, get so overwhelmed and then I leave.
04:46Because there's so many things and I don't know what they are.
04:49I don't know the difference.
04:50I think it's so cool.
04:51I would love someone to teach me.
04:53But I don't know much about the whole world of makeup in general.
04:57We're going to blend this out.
04:59Okay, there goes my eyeliner.
05:01Wow.
05:03This is fulfilling my dream that we're doing makeup videos.
05:05I feel like this is what I, like, used to do at 15 to pretend I was on a YouTube
05:11channel.
05:12I feel like every girl's done that.
05:14I feel like at some point in your life you've had to say, hey guys, welcome back to my channel
05:18as you got ready to go.
05:19Okay, okay, I'm going to speed this up.
05:21I feel like I'm moving very slowly here.
05:24I'm also sweating now.
05:26Just wanted you to know under these lights.
05:28Okay, so now we have some more eyeshadow.
05:30We're going to build this out a little bit.
05:33I don't even know what that means.
05:36But just to get a little bit more color.
05:38And then we'll often just blend it with my finger.
05:42Because I get scared that it's going to look crazy.
05:45Because I don't really know what I'm doing.
05:46Then also, there's so many talented, amazing people out there who do tutorials.
05:51I've never watched a makeup tutorial, like, ever in my life.
05:54And I could.
05:55But I just would rather figure it out.
05:57Something about this seems correct in the corners.
06:01Okay, and then because we're doing a hush and brush and we feel fancy, we're going to add some sparkles.
06:11I could do this all day.
06:14Okay, we're going to add some sparkles, but again, I'm going to need...
06:17This mirror doesn't really work well, so we're going to bring her back.
06:21Wow.

06:23I definitely think in Season 2 and Season 3, I had a little bit of influence of what kind of
06:29makeup Kitty wore.
06:30And she had pretty similar everyday makeup to mine.
06:33We used the exact same blush.
06:35Which is the California by Benefit.
06:37Which Benefit, if you are watching, please bring it back.
06:41Why did you discontinue this?
06:43It's my favorite blush.
06:45And I love the mini brush that it comes with.
06:47And I bought this on eBay.
06:50Because it's discontinued and I could not accept that I was running out.

06:57Literally, production at ExoKitty bought me one of these for Kitty to use.
07:01Because I love this specific blush so much.
07:04But it's only available on eBay.
07:07So I have multiple of these.
07:09But then once they're done, it's just gone.

07:49This has been carried around with me for like 8 years.

07:56But I do wash it.
07:57But it's just so old.
07:58It's like, I was in high school when I got this anyway.
08:01Let's forget about that.
08:02And blindly put on some bronzer.
08:04Okay.
08:05Because I can't really see.
08:06But I can see enough.
08:07This is one of those cases where I'm like, wow.
08:10I look great.
08:11And then later I realize.
08:13It's because my glasses were off.
08:14But I did learn that you should put bronzer a little bit higher than you think.
08:18Because even though it's supposed to go like under where you put your blush.
08:21If you put it too low, it gets weird.
08:23So I like kind of put it in the same area.
08:26My makeup artist is here.
08:28And I feel like he's judging me.
08:29But I don't have my glasses on.
08:31So I can't see the judgment.
08:33Okay.
08:34So we just throw that on.
08:35And then I've been told to put it on the top.
08:38Because I don't want my face to look super uneven.
08:41So then we just slap this on.
08:44I don't know why I'm checking.
08:45I can't see.
08:49Okay.
08:49Blush is my favorite thing.
08:50And my sister told me I have blush blindness.
08:52She said sometimes I look like Rudolph because I put too much blush on my nose.
08:56But I'm okay with that.
08:58This is the mini brush that sits perfectly in here.
09:01Which honestly, because I'm always doing my makeup on the go.
09:03Sometimes I'll just bring this in my purse.
09:08And I have the brush with me.
09:10Look how cute she is.
09:12Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom.
09:13What I love most about Blankiddy is she feels like an old friend.
09:17I have a lot of love for her.
09:19Oh my god, I forgot to put bronzer on my nose.
09:21Which really just looks like this.
09:24I don't know if this even does anything.
09:25But I think it adds a little bit of like tan color.
09:28So it's not just on my cheeks.
09:30But I've added that into my routine recently.
09:32And I forgot about it.
09:32Anyway, my favorite part of Blankiddy is I've known her for so long.
09:36Oh my god, I have way too much blush on this side.
09:38And I have a lot of love for her.
09:40And I think she has like grown up with me.
09:42And so she feels very like instinctual.
09:45I like, I feel like I get her.
09:46And I know, I know how to be with her and carry her very instinctual.
09:50I feel like it's the best way to put it.
09:52So it's really fun to like revisit her after I haven't seen her for a while.
09:55There's way more blush on this side.
09:57That was not the, this is also the thing with blush.
09:59It fades really quickly, I swear.
10:01So often when I'm doing my makeup at the start,
10:04I will feel like I have too much blush on.
10:06And then by the time I'm done, I have the perfect amount on.
10:08Hold on, glasses, pause.
10:13Okay, I do have more on this side, but it's not as aggressive as I thought.
10:17Something about Kitty that I wish I had is her, her bravery, I guess.
10:23She speaks her mind and she has her heart in her sleeve all the time.
10:26She doesn't overthink.
10:27She leads with her heart and I feel like I lead with my mind.
10:30So I wish I had that a little bit more.
10:31This is the Tower 28 mascara.
10:38That's beautiful.
10:39Okay, we're going to use the same Charlotte Tilbury powder here.
10:43And we're going to mascara it up.
10:45I have a lot of different mascaras.
10:47And whatever one I find, I just start using, to be honest.
10:51But this one's been really great.
10:53I like putting my baby mirror like under my eye.
10:55So there's this fun little angle.
10:57I feel like it gets the mascara to the root a bit more.
11:01Oh, okay, so that's, that's unfortunate.
11:04That was not intentional.
11:06Give me a second.
11:07Maybe this is a look.

11:09Okay, so here's the thing.
11:10I also do my makeup without makeup remover nearby.
11:14And you know how many times I've been in the back of Ubers doing this?
11:17And then you just kind of look at it.
11:20It looks like I have more eyeliner on.
11:23Look at that.
11:25Problem solved.
11:26Okay, boom.
11:28Next eyeball.
11:29Well, when I have a lot of time, which is nearly never.
11:33I love putting on makeup because it is like a fun little moment to have with yourself.
11:37I never, ever, ever watch a show for white noise like any part of my life.
11:41I like, if I'm watching a show, I'm watching the show, but I'm never really watching shows.
11:45So I never have them on for white noise.
11:47I play music a lot, but if I'm in a rush, which if you haven't noticed, I didn't plan on
11:51talking about it this much, but I guess I'm always in a rush.
11:54Then I'll pause the music because I feel like I'll take way longer because then I'll start just like vibing
11:58and having a dance party.
11:59And then I take like double the amount of time that I actually needed.
12:02So if I need to hustle, I'm pausing the music.
12:05But if I have time, I'm playing music when I get ready.
12:07I have a playlist called We Cute, and it's to get you hyped up and feeling cute.
12:13So that has a lot of like, I don't know, like very upbeat, very like party girl songs.
12:18Hold on.
12:19Let me find my brush I'm looking for.
12:23I'm going to add a little bit more eyeshadow.
12:26This is so janky.
12:27I feel like I'm really exposing my true self today.
12:30I'm like a very put together person.
12:32And then like, like I'm glad no one's giving a close up of the inside of this makeup bag because
12:36it is so stained with makeup.
12:39My bronzer, this one, why it looks so new is because it exploded the other day and it broke and
12:45I thought it would be fine.
12:46So I kept it in my makeup bag and then I got all over my makeup bag.
12:49So if you see twinkles on other things, it's broken bronzer.
12:53I don't know what is wrong with this baby mirror in here, but it's so blurry.
12:56I feel like I just got out of the shower.
12:58Okay, okay, okay.
12:59You have to move on.
13:00We're going to move on to eyebrows, which again, eyebrows, sometimes I would put powder on my eyebrows with the
13:08same brush with the same color as it did for my eyes because it's here.
13:13And then I would use a clear gel.
13:14The clear gel has fallen out in my little car.
13:17It's in my Volkswagen Bug that is in Vancouver, BC.
13:20So I don't have the clear gel with me and I realized that when I landed in LA, but I
13:24do have this eyebrow gel that says hashtag, well not hashtag, number one kitty.
13:34Because this was Kitty's eyebrow gel from set and they put little labels on it and they let me take
13:40my makeup while we wrapped season three.
13:43So this is Kitty's eyebrow gel.
13:46So now I just use that because I don't know where my eyebrow gel went, but I like it.
13:50But it's colored, which I'm not super used to.
13:52But as you might have been able to tell, we're all about easier.
13:55So then it lets me skip a step because I don't have to color them and for clear gel.
13:59I just have one, two in one, BOGO.
14:05If my makeup routine could talk, it would say, get it together.
14:10It would say, girl, stop doing this in the car and just please wash your makeup brushes more often.
14:16And please put the makeup brushes in a different compartment as the actual makeup because that's gross.
14:22Do this at home more calmly instead of in the back of Ubers.
14:26Okay, we're almost done here.
14:28See, they're not perfect eyebrows, but they're good enough for me.
14:32I'm scared that I look crazy right now.
14:34I can't really tell.
14:36Makeup tip that I've learned.
14:37I would say it always interests me that a lot of makeup artists start with your eyes and then they
14:43do your face,
14:43which I always used to do the opposite.
14:45But now sometimes I do start with my eyes and like I can see the benefits of that.
14:49Because you can like, like how I got mascara on my eyeball.
14:52You can clean it off like before you do your foundation.
14:55So sometimes I switch it up and I always think of my makeup artist for that.
14:58Okay, okay.
14:59We're doing better.
15:00We're almost done.
15:01Super important is lip gloss, which like this is not even my lip gloss collection because it's like excessive.
15:09But even in my tiny little kit, we have...

15:18We have a lot of Fenty lip gloss.
15:21Shout out, Fenty lip gloss is so good.
15:22I have like every color.
15:23We have a lot of Dior lip glosses too.
15:25I have this one in about like five colors.

15:29It's also was kiddies and was labeled because it was kiddies.
15:32This one is almost done because I've worn it that much.

16:09But I really think it helps so much.
16:12Especially if I just like, if I need a little boost.
16:14Like I used to go into the bathroom at school and just put on blush and that would feel better.
16:19Oh, we forgot my powder.
16:20A lot of the time I forget powder just because it's one of those, like I can still look complete
16:24without it.
16:25But it doesn't look as like snatched.

16:31Sometimes if I do powder, now I feel like I'm too matted.
16:35So then I'll go back with my trusty bronzer and just do this.
16:39Because I feel like it like makes it at least a little, because there's like a slight shine in my
16:45bronzer.
16:45And I don't feel as mad.
16:47This is like the most vulnerable interview I've ever done in my life.
16:51Because like no one's ever seen this state.
16:53I also go back with this just in case it's taken some off.
16:57I'm sweating so much right now.

17:02Lip gloss.

17:04We said the Dior one.
17:05I'm not a lip liner girly and I'm definitely not a lipstick girly.
17:10Any makeup artist that's ever worked with me very much knows I have like a very strong feeling towards lipstick.
17:16I think it looks beautiful on everybody else.
17:19But I feel like a mime.
17:21Like you cannot put lipstick on me without, I just feel, I feel the least like myself.
17:26But I love lip gloss.
17:27And lip liner even.
17:29Sometimes that itself makes me feel like a mime.
17:31Once in a while it works and it can be beautiful.
17:33Again, gorgeous on everybody else.
17:35But on my own, I don't know.
17:37I feel like my lips look sad.
17:39And then if you like them, I look like I'm like, like then I look like I'm like sad.

17:44All to say, lip gloss forever.
17:48I also scrape off my lip gloss because like a super gooey globule.

17:53You can always go back and get more.
17:57I feel like things really just come together once you have lip gloss on.

18:02I really think it makes such a difference.

18:38That's so embarrassing.
18:39But it's because I'll like just scrape it out with the brush.

18:45And then I'll like, it's perfect.
18:46I am an acne girl through and through.
18:48I have acne all the time.
18:50This is like a mousse.
18:51And it like surrounds your acne.
18:53And like covers a lot of texture.
18:54So, I'm a very big fan of this.
18:56But I use it as more of a concealer than I do a foundation.
18:59And then this guy's a foundation.
19:01They're both drugstore.
19:03And I've worn these on bright carpets and interviews and like all the things.
19:07And they are trusty.
19:08I love them so much.
19:13I think we're pretty much done.
19:16Do I look ready to go?
19:20Shout out season one of Exo Kitty.
19:23Where I had to do a fan dance.
19:24And I had to practice and rehearse fan everything for like weeks.

20:01Younger Hannah wouldn't believe so much about my wife.
20:03I think she wouldn't believe that I'm still acting.
20:06And that I've gotten to have a career as an adult in this industry.
20:10And I also think she wouldn't believe that I've made as many great friends as I have.
20:14And that I have a community of people at home that I adore.
20:18And I have a community of people at work that I also adore.
20:20I think she would be so happy to hear that.
20:22One piece of makeup advice I would say just try stuff out.
20:28Like honestly as you've seen today I have no idea what I'm doing and I still don't.
20:32And you don't have to buy really expensive makeup to try.
20:35I have a lot of random stuff that's from the drugstore that is my favorite things.
20:38Try them out.
20:39Try out like a new product.
20:41It doesn't have to be as high stakes.
20:42You don't have to be perfect at it to try it.
20:44Like I think it can be really fun and you can like learn about yourself in the process.
20:47Just like have fun with it.
20:48And don't put too much pressure on it.

22:20You should not do that.

22:25Are you sleeping?
22:26You're sleeping in your makeup and then you're waking up and you're going to work in the same makeup.
22:32That's not a good idea.
22:33But that's very impressive.
22:35We're going to try it on ourselves.

23:18But I do just want to say that this was literally the most vulnerable interview.

23:26I didn't even plan on it being this aggressively chaotic.
23:30But this is what I'm like when I get ready.
