04:34Patrol checked nearby emergency rooms
04:36and found a man recently admitted with a gunshot wound

11:30And they both were sharing, you know, like showing each other so they swapped.
11:34So this is just, we're just looking at each other's guns, not enough, not enough.

11:39And then they leave.
11:41She says a short while later, Farron's friend left the house.
11:46We're all in the living room, and then he realized that his gun was missing.
11:50She says that her friend claimed that he couldn't find his gun.
11:54And so he asked Farron, like, hey, bro, you know where my gun is?
11:59And Farron's like, no, you know, help them look for it.
12:03You know, he's helping them look for it.
12:05So then Farron called.
12:07She says Farron called his friend that left and demanded he return so they could search his car.
12:13They pulled up.
12:15They was looking in the car for the gun.
12:18And my sister was coming to get my kids.
12:21She says minutes later, her sister arrived to pick up her children for the evening.
12:27Farron had the kids, and he was putting them in the car.
12:31So Farron was putting the kids in your sister's car, right?

12:39When I went outside, her car was gone.

13:31Officers took the friend into custody and are transporting him to homicide.

13:54Detective Vernon McNeil interviews a neighbor who was outside at the time of the shooting.

14:51And he points it at the victim.
14:53And the victim's like, my kids are right here.
14:58The victim lunges at him.
14:59They grabbed the gun.

15:01And he, he shot him at my point.
15:06And the second one was cold blood, man.
15:09Because he had already, the first one dropped him.

16:43And then the victim says, man, don't do this in front of my kid.
16:45And he tries to swipe at the gun.
16:46And then he fires twice.
16:49The dude shoots twice at him.
16:51And one of the rounds went through and hits the kid with a gunshot wound.

16:58They loaded him up.
17:00So after the gunshots go off, the other guys grab the gunshot dude, load him up into the
17:06car, and they're yelling at the shooter, run.

32:32there's some jealousy that was involved but it may have been over also the gun that came up missing
32:38after the ring video the friend ended up calling his friends to come over to the house
32:43and when they got there farron ended up getting killed in front of his kids
32:47and she's sitting there carrying his newborn baby to be so it's terrible it's something that

33:04the next morning i just walked a warrant through today for murder so right now uh quentin caldwell is
33:12wanted first-degree murder our warrant squad will be setting up on a location that he possibly may be at
33:23we are going to a house where we believe a homicide suspect uh quentin caldwell according
33:30to sources he was dropped off last night i do see movement over close to the front door on our
33:43house
33:45but as the clock ticks away

34:07in the first 48 tulsa homicide responded to the scene where 23 year old farron cooper was found shot
34:15learned that a man staying with the mother of farron's children was shot and wounded after the
34:20two men had an argument heard from a confidential informant that the shooter was a man named q blood
34:25also known as quentin caldwell and issued a warrant for quentin's arrest but had been unable to find him
34:40over the next several months lady called me and said she thinks she saw him homicide and the warrants
34:46squad continue to search for quentin
34:55and turned to the public for help tulsa police are still looking for the man they say shot and killed

37:00So, Quentin, the reason you're here has to do with the murder of a guy named Farenkoop.
37:06I'm going to give you the opportunity to tell you one side of the story.

38:35He was standing and looking at me.

38:49But the independent witness said you shot twice.

38:54And then when Faren was on the ground, you shot him again.

40:37He's kind of trying to claim it was self-defense.
40:40And nobody out there said it was in self-defense.

40:43I mean, when you bring a gun into a disturbance, it can go south.
40:48He didn't show a little bit of emotion, but it's sad that that's, that he put himself in this situation.
41:11And so it took a lot longer than what we wanted to, but it's nice to have that person off
41:16the streets.

41:31He's been like, Mom, give me the bounce house for my birthday, just so he could do this with the
41:36kids.
41:38He just loved his kids.
41:45I hate that the youngest one, he doesn't get the opportunity to even know him, see him.
41:51I was on the phone when it happened with the baby's mother who was there.
42:00Quentin had a brother who, um, he came and saw me after it happened.
42:04He talked for about two hours.
42:05He told me about the kind of person that Quentin is.
42:09And it hurt because I knew that if Quentin had met Farron under different circumstances, that they would have actually
42:16been friends.
42:24Farron's a good son.
42:25He loved me.
42:26And we went through a lot together.
42:28So we had the friendship that I had with my son.
42:32And, you know, it can't be replaced.
42:35I never get it back.
