00:09Welcome to the most exciting film project we've ever undertaken at Bentley.
00:13This is Pym Karner, a Jim Karner film shot on Pym's Lane, the home of Bentley Motors.
00:19There are three things that make this film so exciting for us.
00:23Firstly, this, the most dynamic continental in our history, the super sports.
00:28Secondly, our amazing Bentley campus here in Crewe, and third, our secret weapon, Travis Pastrana.
00:39Okay, so here we are. This is Travis's Batcave. It's his base at Bentley.
00:43We've got a star car here and we're doing a lights-on sequence with all the lights illuminating the space.
00:49Loving it, we've got some absolutely amazing metal in here and it's such a joy to shoot it.
00:54Currently being overlooked by boardmen, actual Bentley board members in the corner there, so we're all on our best behavior.
01:05Just for me, seeing a handbrake in this car, I giggled like all night last night just thinking about that.
01:12Hydraulic handbrake, but it's got so much power, you don't need the handbrake too much, but it does help make
01:18it look a little cooler setting in the corners for sure.
01:20So, should be an option on the car. I'm voting for that.
01:25The Krasma chip on everything, just the attention to detail. I mean, Mildred, written into the handbrake.
01:31And the doors, like I'm used to slamming doors on all the cars that I have.
01:34This door, you just like gently close it and the Bentley just brings it in nice and tight, everything's sealed
01:39off.
01:39It's the quietest car inside the car that I've ever driven that drives like a race car.
01:53Here we go. I guess we'll learn on the fly. Pretty cool car though.
02:01We're in. There you go guys. Come on people. First shot of the day, done.
02:15We got everything going. Having some fun. So, warm these tires up and give her a good go on this
02:22one.
02:33Welcome to Bentley HQ. Behind us we've got our pre-war heritage fleet.
02:39And we're going to be driving these guys down the road, past Travis.
02:43And it's just a little nod to the history and heritage of Bentley. Beautiful.
02:58It's been interesting today trying to do things un-Bentley like and yet still make some good footage.
03:06So, it's been a challenging first day. I think tomorrow we have ten sets of tires.
03:12Ten sets, yeah. So I think we've gone through one set today.
03:15My mission is to go through nine tomorrow. So, it should be fun. Fun day.
03:19Okay, here we are. Another amazing corner.
03:22We've just got our crew assembling now for a little safety briefing where we're going to talk through
03:26where Travis is going to be, where our camera crew can be, and how we can shoot it safely.
03:53Next door, in the warehouse next to us, is a top-sequel car. Basically development, no phones, no photos. Cheers.
04:02Thank you station.
04:04It's like herding cats here. It's such a massive space. We're trying to lock it all down.
04:08We've got people everywhere. It's literally the worst nightmare.
04:11If I can have one more donut run, that would be great. But I'll say to him, go spare him.
04:18Shall we go and do the exit shop first?
04:19No, I'll just...
04:20Yeah.
04:21Yeah.
04:22Let's do that.
04:23That's the key, isn't it?
04:30What I need to make the edit work is then coming out one more time here, cutting, and going through
04:37the closed door.
04:39Just do another one on the other side.
04:40Just do another one.
04:49My kids weren't able to come out. And honestly, most of the car stuff they're not that interested in.
04:53They both drive a little, ride their bikes a little, but more into volleyball and cheer.
04:58I have two young girls and our dog. We call her Millie. Her name is Mildred.
05:02And when I said that this car was named Mildred, they all of a sudden were super pumped on everything
05:09and wanted pictures of the car.
05:10And we're comparing pictures of this car sliding in our dog and she can jump really high.
05:14So they're like, did you put Millie in the air? I was like, ah, we got her a little off
05:18the ground.
05:18Definitely lightweight and nimble for the Bentley. A lot like Millie at home.
05:28So we've just done a bit of slow-mo. We're doing playback and it is unreal with these sparks.
05:44Well done, Travis. Well done, mate. Thanks, man.
05:46Appreciate it.
05:47Okay, so there we go. Cars are looking beautiful. Travis has done an amazing job.
05:51What a car. What a beautiful place. It's been amazing.
