01:40saturday night live UK it's Jamie Dornan
01:53and is here is actor writer and producer of her show the comeback it's Lisa Kudrow
02:14I know we have to be casual about it and cool but Lisa Kudrow
02:25thank you all so much for coming because many of you have quite bad jet lag I mean Jimmy you
02:32got in
02:32from Australia literally this morning well I flew from Australia but via Los Angeles oh so it was I
02:39went I'm basically trying to prove flat earthers wrong how do you deal with it what's the answer Lisa what's
02:47your do you have an answer you get on the plane drugs
02:54I can't travel anywhere I can't go to Manchester I get jet lag I've never yeah it's true I've never
03:00moved I
03:00don't think you're supposed to eat I think you're not supposed to eat you know when to eat on the
03:05plane right
03:05I don't eat plain food you don't I do if I'm hungry that's how food works is it true I
03:17read once that you love meat I always
03:20know I always travel with like built-on it's like cured sort of beef dead animals yeah yeah and when
03:27you
03:27say like do you take a slither or are you taking a bag I take like a big a big
03:31bag just to get me through
03:33yeah a big sort of fatty bag of sort of old meat why you can ask for it many different
03:41ways but I
03:42asked for that the weather is happening you can get like prepackaged stuff in supermarkets
03:59I don't think it smells bad but I think other people might think it smells bad I don't know just
04:05curious you know yeah it smells good do you meet either I love meat yeah listen I'll bring you to
04:12the South Africa themed shop this is the worst episode of first dates ever chase infinity the best
04:22name on the sofa the best name I think I've ever heard your parents very clever how did they put
04:28it
04:29together and I'm so sorry if you're bored of answering no I will answer it as many times because I
04:34I love
04:35the story of my parents coming up with my name but pretty much both movies came out in 1995 which
04:40was I
04:40believe the year that my parents got married but um they they had watched Batman forever and Nicole
04:46Kidman played a character named Chase Meridian and they were like regardless of anything her name is
04:50gonna be chased because they were obsessed with Nicole Kidman in in that movie and then infinity
04:55comes from a toy story to infinity and beyond and I've just gone by chase infinity since I was 10
05:00so
05:01that's that's how they sort of decided what you were gonna do before they even met kind of crazy
05:06literally crazy how that happened but yeah I love it and what's your sister called her name is Dolce and
05:12she's into fashion she went to school for like wait a minute hold on a second movies fashion this is
05:23where we're going I wish I'd known I would have given my kids different names I don't want anyone to
05:31panic
05:31because we will talk about friends because I know you three are obsessed but first of all can we talk
05:37about the comeback please yes yes oh my god it's like also you said the comeback is the greatest show
05:51of all time I think I'm friends a second it sounds rude but before friends before Phoebe was created you
06:07had this idea right you were you there's a character that you created you couldn't let go at the groundlings
06:14which is a sketch comedy improv theater company and I wrote a character monologue called your favorite
06:22actress on a talk show and she had a short red wig and she was really phony and I just
06:28you know it was
06:29funny I won't do the whole thing for you this but we're on a talk show this feels like the
06:35perfect time
06:36to do something funny no it's not the right place but I do remember one sort of thing she was
06:48just so
06:49phony that she would say you know like actors who can be really self-important and she just said no
06:55you
06:55know it's funny because what's really important to me now is you know the planet we need to save the
07:03planet everybody okay please please as a favor to me I love you for it I will you know that
07:12was my funny
07:13thing you were so advanced you were miles ahead of everybody else doing a mockumentary or a fly in
07:29the wall however you would describe reality show of reality shows and then you made it and Ben had
07:34a cult following but lots of people were like what yeah what's happening what what are these cameras
07:38moving around that I hate you know and um yeah there were no housewives of anywhere well yet we're gonna
07:45have a clip this is from series three this is just as Valerie gets offered a big job yeah have
07:51a look
07:51and they are offering Valerie Cherish please note that I said offer not audition noted a starring role
08:01in their new multi-camera comedy wow thrilling I could cry um in a multi-cam so sitcoms are making
08:10a
08:11comeback yeah knew they would you know people need a laugh now more than ever yeah oh okay what's it
08:21about I don't know okay well what's the part I don't know well what do you know well I know
08:30that you're
08:31not gonna have to deal with any asshole writers it's being written by A.I. uh-huh now is is
08:38that a lab
08:47it's so fantastic was there a little bit of you or was it slightly inspired by the office at all
08:55oh I love
08:56the office yeah yeah yes and and when I saw these reality shows I went oh gotta do this because
09:04I have
09:05a lovely fact is it true Jimmy that you took Ricky and Steven on a tour of Slough you in
09:12you said do it
09:13here yeah I took them on a tour of Slough yeah there's one when they were writing that we're all
09:19hanging
09:19out we did we did like our first Edinburgh Fringe together yes me and Ricky and Steve and then uh
09:24we uh yeah
09:25they wanted to know because Redding wasn't quite shit enough but slough which is where I'm from is
09:34it's legit shit and then and then I uh and if anyone's watching this in slough stand by that
09:43and I kind of I took them round and then and then was just explaining oh yeah there was this
09:47was where
09:48the nightclub was and then told them that the nightclub was called Henry's it was a Henry VIII themed nightclub
09:55I mean yeah sort of writes itself doesn't it yeah oh my god also in the comeback and this is
10:03weird that I
10:03said that because I'm part of the UK version your character Valerie uh takes part in traitors uh-huh and
10:10I know and and Valerie's uh stint on traitors was inspired a little bit by somebody on the UK
10:19traitors yes it was on Linda Linda because for those who haven't um seen and they I'll just explain
10:34Linda was the person who and I said traitors you'll meet each other later and looked at me and nodded
10:41and there was a bit of Linda in it wasn't there a bit yeah oh my god yeah we had
10:47Valerie someone
10:48saying like well I think he's a traitor and says oh no I can tell you a hundred percent he's
10:52a faithful
10:54how do you know just I have a I have a feeling don't you wish we knew who the traitor
11:01was
11:03oh yeah I love the fact it was based on Linda and I think it's only right that you meet
11:07her but oh
11:08yes
11:08and here I am
11:29I love seeing you I just somehow wanted Linda and Lisa together even just for a minute but
11:38Linda in your wildest dreams when that happened and you looked at me and went got it
11:45did you ever think that then the mighty Lisa Kudrow would use you as inspiration in her amazing show
11:57crazy absolutely on our show she was voted out like that night
12:01oh yeah
12:02oh yeah
12:03no at least I made it to seven
12:05oh yes episode seven they took a very long time
12:09they took a very long time because you're very charming ladies and gentlemen Linda thank you
12:15thank you
12:18lovely thank you
12:19oh my god that was thrilling
12:26that was thrilling
12:28what big we're all still alive though yeah
12:32yes we are I just I just I couldn't help it when I watched I was like oh hold on
12:37a minute yeah
12:39I know but they didn't vote her out sorry none of them are here so I can say not bright
12:44no
12:44no
12:44no
12:44no
12:48she basically held up a sign yeah like you said so traitors that's me yeah
12:54I'm right here nodded um we absolutely love the comeback it's on hbo max with new episodes
13:02airing weekly yeah um Jamie we're going to talk about snl but first of all
13:07slightly friends related everything is friends related let's talk about flat shares because
13:12didn't you share a flat with eddie redmay i did yeah yeah yeah a long long time ago that's eddie
13:19there yeah
13:20conveniently on the tv yeah he'd prefer if you used a picture he's holding his academy award
13:25i get that um what was he like as a flatmate what are you like i'm a real like ocd
13:33neat freaky
13:34person and so is eddie i mean eddie it's not like we shared a flat and then happen like he's
13:38one of my
13:38best mates still right but this is like 20 18 years ago i think in la uh no we were
13:44really um tidy
13:45for like you know a couple of guys sharing a house together in laurel canyon uh chase you live with
13:51your best friend from college i do and how is that because it must be lovely when you're you know
13:57oscars
13:57all of this like busy and then you go back is it lovely to live with her well it is
14:03but i haven't
14:03been home like in probably i don't know six months so i go home for like maybe three days at
14:11a time and
14:11i'm like hey change my luggage and i'm like okay bye thank you for being here i love you very
14:16much
14:17but yeah but it is nice and like getting to go home and kind of ground myself and then she's
14:23my best
14:23friend in the entire world and and i i i love her very much so and she gets her own
14:28apartment she
14:29does she gets a completely empty apartment yes sublet why is there someone in my room um jimmy talk to
14:36me about what's it like sharing have you i used to live with a couple yeah and come on well
14:42then my mom
14:43and dad um lisa didn't you meet your husband through your flatmate yes i was living with a french woman
14:52isabel and he had just moved to the u.s and was told to look up this french girl and
14:58so he
14:58came to take her out and i just went no he's for me this isn't gonna work them and now
15:05oh my god
15:06is that french lady still in your life yeah yeah no then we met again six years later at her
15:13party
15:13and started dating oh cool yeah and everyone said lisa no not him one french guy really thick accent he
15:21said lisa michelle he's a butterfly he goes from flower to flower you were like i'm the best flower he's
15:32ever gonna make no no i said yeah it doesn't matter there's a rebound thing for me
15:47i believe there is somebody here who's got the worst flatmate story david yeah hi david hello
15:54tell me about the flatmate yeah i was an entertainer a red coat on holiday parks um and i was
15:59told i was
15:59going to share a very small caravan with with a guy that was on the on the entertainment team but
16:04he just
16:04never stopped and he would be telling jokes and we we wouldn't finish till 1am rehearsing shows
16:11and then you just fall asleep and you'd hear some horrible noise and he was on a unicycle
16:18i'm not kidding and he wasn't very good he'd be banging on the walls honestly and then you'd go
16:23and work and then you'd come back and he'd get his jumper out and he loved cooking fish
16:29well i enjoyed our time together
16:39very much his side of the story
16:44and you're good at the unicycle i would have been good if someone had let me practice
16:49thank you very much david thank you uh so jamie let's talk about snl uk you
16:58uh you host tomorrow night how are the nerves or should i not be asking that or are you feeling
17:04fine i go through phases of feeling fine and feeling comfortable the team are unbelievable like i feel
17:09incredible support you know they're um a very funny bunch you know i just feel immense support and like
17:16gratitude that i get to do it it's a it's a proper honor you know yeah huge honor let's have
17:20a look
17:21at a clip this was from saturday night i'm just here as a long time snl employee to help out
17:28and to
17:29answer like any questions anyone might have of what to oh hi yeah nicola coughlin
17:39it is lovely to see you um but my question is if this is snl uk then why are you
17:46the first host like
17:47shouldn't it be like a british icon like david beckham or or judy dench or or like shrek well
17:52that is a valid question uh why an american host um and the way it was explained to me
17:57uh was that for this first episode anyway um how do i put this politely none of you
18:04fuckers would do it yeah too short um tina faye is amazing has she helped in any way with you
18:17yeah
18:17well i guess i'm the who's doing it important to note yeah tina tina and i have done a movie
18:23together so
18:24you know i know her and she's incredibly supportive she's been around all this week i mean look it's so
18:30iconic you know even from the you know the early days of dan ackroyce and chevy chase and bill murray
18:35and and people friends of mine who i've worked with since at christian wig you know it's it's just
18:39incredible but even in the sort of that sort of company or in those conversations yeah um lisa you
18:45hosted didn't you yeah how was it i don't know blanked it up yes was it was it terrifying terrifying
18:53too late to
18:54pull out i've been making jokes about that with them all week i say saying things like i might be
19:01that planned to be there but i might not be there and uh one of my days on again exactly
19:06you're gonna
19:08be utterly brilliant have they oh yeah yeah yeah to sing uh no but i will sing yeah they haven't
19:16asked me
19:16but it's live i can do what the fuck i want you could do whatever you want there he is
19:25i love the story when you went i believe for a singing audition and you decided to deal with your
19:31voice in a certain way i did i was i was first up uh it was out in l.a
19:35around the time i was probably
19:37living with eddie and there was a movie called rock of ages i think like tom cruise was in it
19:43and uh you
19:44had to sing like i can sing as much as any other sort of douchey actor guy but like i'm
19:51not like a
19:51great singer but i can sing a bit and i was first up i was like 10 a.m in
19:56the morning which in those
19:57days like pre-kids was like an early an early kickoff and um i i thought i'm not really good
20:04enough to be
20:04in this room so i thought right well what i'll do is i'll drink whiskey um so i bought myself
20:12a little
20:12quarter bottle of like jameson big up ireland and uh because it was so early in the morning i hadn't
20:19had breakfast or anything i sort of got up brushed my teeth had a shower and uh i arrived and
20:24i sort of
20:24opened the door of the car and i sort of saw the whiskey in the car door and i went
20:28it's the first
20:29thing that passed my mouth apart from toothpaste so i as soon as i drank it and i puked
20:36like really violently puked um like so down my front no all down thing i didn't have like mouth
20:43walls so i then walked into this audition with puke down my front smelling of whiskey
20:50and vomit and then had to almost it was so bad and then i had to that we were honestly
20:56like the most
20:57comedy small room you've ever been there's like seven people in this tiny room and i stink and i had
21:02to
21:03sing the song that i can't sing and i couldn't sing it i really couldn't sing it but directors just
21:08kept
21:08going ah let's go get let's do it are you you want to do it one more time honestly no
21:12i don't i can't
21:14keep doing this is and this is a living nightmare um and i kept they made i think i did
21:18it three times
21:19and then that was it and i've never heard from them well you're going to be great on saturday jimmy
21:27you are magnificent do you have advice for a monologue or what what what's the key you know
21:34you don't have to take my advice but i've done a lot of comedy i've done a lot of kind
21:37of
21:38jokes on stage i would buy a quarter bottle of james
21:49when you're watching tv you can't smell so it's a good point it's a good point i think that's what
21:54tina fay does yeah definitely yeah i got a sniff of her it was yeah i didn't
22:03okay you're hosting saturday night live tomorrow night sky one 10 p.m
22:15uh chasing timothy you're here to talk to us about the testament yes which is unbelievable i cannot
22:22say this enough they sent me one and they said that'll do you and i had to phone and beg
22:27it's after the handmaid's tale yeah it's the sequel it's five years later it's about like three to four
22:33years later after the the final season of the handmaid's tale yeah i like that already people like
22:38oh it's nice and dark and meaty yeah i saw a handmaid's tower it wasn't as funny as i thought
22:44it was gonna be um let's have a taste if you will of the testament i believed in this world
22:51once
22:52it's easier to accept a story than believe that the people around you are monsters we gather here
22:58tonight to bring women back to their rightful place blessed be the fruit
23:10it was time for us to change things
23:16you know when you just don't realize like oh my god that's like that's something that i made and it's
23:23really cool getting to see it it is unbelievable tell people a bit about the premise and who you
23:30play okay so i play a character named agnes mackenzie and it's kind of a coming-of-age story in
23:35gilead
23:35so the handmaid's tale was told from the perspective of a handmaid but this follows a group of girls who
23:41are the daughters of high-ranking commanders so you're kind of seeing the nobility in a sense going
23:46to school and training to become um wives in gilead so you're kind of having that new perspective around
23:52a 14 year old girl so and it's margaret atwood and it's quite dark a lot of it is really
23:58dark how do you
24:00come out of that if that's not a weird question it's not a weird question but like i feel very
24:06grateful because our entire cast and crew was so so sweet where you felt very supported the entire time
24:12so even if you had an unexpectedly difficult day with the material on set you felt you felt like you
24:18were um you were cared for in a way and i i really am i owe a lot of my
24:23hard days to my entire casting
24:25crew because we really had each other on those on those dark moments i mean jamie you played a real
24:31baddie uh in the fall how did you do that and then go yeah i'm gonna make some pasta now
24:37or however it
24:38works i i just honestly think you need like levity and those moments because it's it's just not a
24:44healthy place to keep your head i talk about like crisps or something i'll say like i could talk about
24:51crisps all day so could i i i honestly do think take after take coming at it totally fresh is
24:58a better
24:59energy i i personally find and if we've been talking about hula hoops for five minutes beef obviously obviously
25:06just have to say that out loud yeah we usually have about 48 packets at any point in my house
25:13yeah same as me do you let i'm just and then we'll go back i promise don't panic jace's agent
25:19is like
25:20get her out of there have you tried the large hoop not not as big a fan of it yeah
25:26too much too much
25:27no never what's happened i just i don't know where margaret atwood stands
25:34on the hula hoop but we were we were on that so maybe just get back in just just a
25:42modicum of
25:43professionalism i'm so sorry he said crisps i went with it um the toy no the crisps i don't know
25:53what you're
25:54talking yeah fine i'm sorry we'll move on so the testaments is available on disney plus from april the 8th
26:05okay now we have to talk about one battle uh what a film what a film
26:15i knew in that film and it just won all of those oscars when you went for the audition they
26:21asked you to
26:21get quite close to leonardo dicaprio didn't they yeah i know exactly where this is going yes yes
26:29definitely my first camera test that i had i was asked to shave his face um and i didn't know
26:37what
26:37i was doing and i was shaking the entire time because it was with an electric razor i don't know
26:42what i'm
26:42doing this is leonardo dicaprio it's a famous face yeah as faces go i was literally like i don't know
26:51what i'm doing i'm so sorry and tell me about the oscars i mean because it's your first one yeah
26:57and you
26:58go you win everything you look beautiful did you have fun it was the coolest experience ever and it felt
27:06even more special getting to be there with everyone from one battle and we had so much love in the
27:12room
27:12and it like it's a night i will never forget and getting to um also be be a part of
27:18presenting the
27:19first award in casting was also so special and then our casting director won and i could not stop jumping
27:24on the stage and i was like i'm sorry i can't contain my excitement right now but you were presenting
27:29it
27:29and then the person that cast your movie won well because you could have said anything it just feels
27:35like well i didn't read it gwyneth paltrow read it it wasn't me yeah but you've just seen her
27:40backstage and gone gwyneth i know there wasn't there wasn't the seal like there normally was it was kind
27:45of just a magnetic thing and i was was it in your handwriting it was no one did see it
27:50so it could have been
27:53um and how were the parties where did which house did you go to first oh at that point were
27:58you like
27:58i'm going night night i went to five parties that oh because it was my first oscars okay i had
28:06to go
28:06to all of them of course of course but um i tried to go to as many as i possibly
28:12could
28:14absolutely award shows where do you stay i mean you've hosted a lot jimmy yeah but i mean the
28:19national plumbers awards and telford it's not the same thing there are not five after parties how many
28:26were there three it's like yeah well you know i hosted a lot of corporate awards it's a different
28:32thing it's fun though it's an honor a privilege and a massive check to be here
28:38i also went i met nicole kidman at the oscars which was crazy because i'm named after her and i
28:44was like
28:44i'm named after you that was really special too and did she love it was she adorable or did she
28:50say stop
28:51touching me she couldn't have been kinder like like truthfully was so so sweet and afterwards i
28:58texted my parents i was like i just met the woman i'm named after that's so cool oh that is
29:02but that
29:02is it is lisa friends won 79 major awards
29:09is that was really yeah and do you know what i love lisa because not only if lots of people
29:19don't
29:19like talking about like don't like harking back so we were like well maybe we shouldn't talk about
29:24friends but you you like talking about it you don't mind no i don't mind why would i mind but
29:29i'm just
29:29grateful because i'm a wonderful person no but honestly i get it yeah i'm proud of it you should be
29:45um chase you watch it don't you of course i do i remember watching it in high school oh
29:53just like i feel very exposed after that pause because we're wondering you mean last week
29:59so you've just started watching but i love the fact that you you said i know the song off by
30:07heart
30:07and i thought it was going to be the one about the cat oh no it wasn't the first thing
30:11i said was p
30:12is in phoebe h is in hebe i like went through the whole thing on the car
30:19i didn't search your car sometimes every week after we would shoot a show security would not let me out
30:29without looking in my trunk to see if i took something did they do that to every no just me
30:37why i don't know you can tell us was it because you stole someone's french boyfriend
30:45not one time yeah well is it because you took something no i absolutely did not take something
30:52did i do you know something at the end i did you got me i did at the end after
31:00the 10 years i did i took
31:02the rings i took phoebe's rings is that is that because out of everything because i think
31:08you've got to take something no you weren't really allowed but matthew perry asked permission and he
31:13gave me um the cookie jar that was on monica's refrigerator well yes it is nice yeah it's really
31:22sweet your character specifically had such reach such impact you don't need me to tell you how much but
31:31what just to illuminate okay to our audience if you are called phoebe please stand up what
31:49thank you very much thank you thank you very much i hope uh i hope nicole kidman's watching this
31:58you've got one wow thank you so much lisa thank you okay jimmy the time has come to talk about
32:11your
32:11show which is i feel like i've won a competition to be here i'm quite happy not we're going to
32:17talk
32:17about it honestly this is lovely last one laughing it was the biggest hit of last year and it is
32:23was
32:23it or was it the traitors no no we can arm wrestle i'm obsessed by your show let's discuss it
32:38before
32:39we have a clip tell everybody the premise so the premise is uh we get 10 comedians they're all very
32:45funny they go into a house and they're allowed to try and make each other laugh and they're not allowed
32:50to laugh it's it's that it's that simple and somehow it works it's a perfect lineup before they come in
32:58you know them all really well do you say to roisin do you say to anybody going this person's gonna
33:04smash it and do people surprise you yeah i was very i was surprised people did people take it so
33:10seriously and everyone gets weirdly competitive about well no we're here we might as well win it yeah
33:16and then you're you're performing these guys are doing bits on stage and they're giving it their
33:21all to be funny and just 11 people are just stony faced just nothing it's killing them inside can we
33:31have a clip this is david mitchell's joker which gone before we show it i mean this is so david
33:37mitchell
33:37is like i mean he's a wonderfully funny comedic actor but also like a serious actor yeah he's a serious
33:43guy i mean he writes columns in the papers he's he's a dear friend he's quite the talent this blew
33:48my mind i mean maybe this is how you were thinking of david mitchell this is not how
33:53i see him at all this is david mitchell's joker you've read it in a folio or seen it in
34:00a shakespeare
34:01play how juliet fell for romeo in the merry month of may and as he climbed the orchard wall to
34:08reach
34:09his lady fair as he stumbled she began to ball as he traveled through the air oh dear flash bang
34:17wallop what a picture what a picture what a fun and grow poor young cat why now you spend tights
34:23all
34:23torn in his rapier band clap hands
34:29what a picture what a picture um tilly i'm pump pump pump pump
34:45the psychology of that which you touched on before is this is the funniest people in the land
34:53and nobody's not everyone's like that and they they come out david does something like that there
34:59are others people just go yeah well done what is that what nice yeah they're dying inside
35:05and that's why it's like i think it's i think the reason it's a here is kind of
35:08it's people everyone's experienced that yeah whether it's at a family funeral
35:18a nativity player anywhere that i think i shouldn't be making jokes and laughing
35:22that's when i want to laugh and i've got i can never hide it no because i have the audit
35:26i've
35:26got a weird laugh i laugh on an in not an out so instead of laughing like ha ha i
35:31know i laugh on a
35:32uh-uh-uh-uh-uh it's not great could you do it what this yeah uh could you you'd be
35:41you'd i think i
35:43i think i could i've got my game plan i know what i would do because they all get to
35:47do a performance
35:48piece and i would just i'd wear what i normally wear normally three piece and a tie and i would
35:53just
35:53full magic mic for montia and just and grind
36:03and lots of eye contact super sexy yeah is there anyone you mentioned david anyone else that you were
36:12impressed by because i imagine for the we don't know who's won i'm not giving any spoilers out
36:17bob mortimer walks in and you go all right never mind i can't do it see the only one that
36:22has come
36:23back from the first series yeah he's the only one still alive have you seen final destination a
36:32weird thing happened with our cast they're all gone um no he came back to defend his title so that
36:38was
36:38it's kind of fun and he romish his face well because bob went in last and romish his face just
36:45drops i mean i say drops drops further
36:50he always looks pretty grumpy but he's like ah extra grump it's a it's an awful lot of fun and
36:56it
36:56does feel like you know the right show for now because i don't know the world's in turmoil you uh
37:03you
37:04know the guy that used to present you probably saw it you know the apprentice in the states there was
37:09a
37:09there's a guy called donald trump used to present that and he's now got a new show
37:13who is called the news it is it is terrifying i like the apprentice so i'm gonna try the new
37:22one
37:31so people can watch last one laughing on prime video available now correct jimmy here's a thing
37:37you've started making whiskey yeah i've got a weird whiskey company with um with some friends so
37:44there's a town outside um uh dairy called muff and so please get your minds out of the gutter it's
37:56uh you
37:57you know muff i didn't because i thought you were a big meat guy
38:03so i i own the muff liquor company it only gets weirder it's like me and russell crowe and ed
38:12sheeran
38:12i own a whiskey gin and vodka company called muff liquor it was recently and this is this is a
38:20fun fact
38:21it was recently brought to my attention that that is actually a double entendre
38:27so watch out for that you are still on tour you're going all over the world how many countries 48
38:37yeah i think 48 countries yeah i'm just doing sort of australia new zealand at the moment i think
38:41canada later in the year yeah it's a lot it is a lot it's a lot but you've got to
38:46remember i've got young
38:47kids so it's nice to be away jimmy where can we get tickets for your top i've got a website
38:56you could
38:56go to that i guess you people will figure it out i think if you're not if you're not smart
39:04enough
39:04to figure out where to get tickets i don't want you on my show
39:14we're nearing the end but before we go jimmy you've become an advice guru when you say you put a
39:20lot out there you the crowd work is exceptional my kids are like if i have a problem can can
39:26you ask
39:27jimmy i was like that that's super weird but you like so do you know your kids quite well
39:32i know um but how how did that start people ask questions as a comedian i think you
39:41if you think about who's your best friend in the world i'll tell you who your best friend in the
39:44world is it's the person you have the least filter right if you sit next to someone on a plane
39:49and go
39:49oh the weather you know it's been cold hasn't it it's like that's a lot of filter yeah right and
39:53if
39:53it's like your best friend in the world you go oh my god you have to see these hemorrhoids
39:59seriously it's like a bunch of grapes like that that zero filter and i think if you treat an
40:05audience as if you have no filter with them then people open up audience would you like to feel
40:10involved would you would would we like some advice from jimmy yeah i think we would too okay yes here
40:20we
40:20go go on hi yeah i'm phoebe one of many um it's like spartacus i know it was like me
40:27and my army
40:28when i stood up it was great um my question is i want to tell people when they're being annoying
40:36to help them be less annoying um but then i look like a a bitch so what's the best way
40:43to handle this
40:46when you say people how many people are we talking about i mean i mean it happens every day like
40:51there's a lot of there's a lot of people i would like to tell that to
40:56well the adage would be if you meet three arseholes before noon you're the arsehole
41:01oh it's tough love i didn't know i didn't know it was going to go this way would you like
41:20a
41:20gentler piece of advice no it's all right i think you've learned something yeah me too and that's what
41:30life's about i mainly do dick jokes okay no i like this jimmy as well wow what do you do
41:40i feel
41:40like i should and what do you do my best
41:52all right what what what do you do for this i'm training to be a therapist
42:00i mean i mean i'm not sure if it's the job for you
42:09i love uh chase's face throughout all of that and then i believe we have uh phoebe number two
42:17yes hello i'm also phoebe i'm dating at the moment and i'm just wondering how can i figure out the
42:24difference between a red flag and just a floor oh that's a good question um do you like the guy
42:32this is just sort of in general in general red flags yeah and like and sort of like icky things
42:38and like so i've got a specific example if it helps yes yes yeah um men who specifically only grow
42:46an
42:47underbeard oh that's the worst thank you thank you thank you yeah it's just hair here oh like lincoln yeah
42:58yeah okay or they just have like the sort of the straps like a helmet yeah
43:03no okay i think i might have the answer for this go ahead tell him i think if you just
43:10are open
43:11and you go hey i don't like that that's gotta go but he should know that
43:23he's not yeah but you're jamie the same thing as everything like he's not there's not articles in
43:29magazines going this is a great look no one's telling him to do it like no offense but you're an
43:36adonis yeah but this is just i'd look worse if i had a half beard maybe not you would still
43:44turn heads
43:47look good i don't know i think i think tell him i'm very much enjoying this bit of the show
43:52i could do this all day yes that's another show everybody
43:59right that's it we're off to knit a small owl i would like to thank my guests jimmy car
