00:02Just hours after the Army suspended the cruise involved in a helicopter flyby near Kid Rock's home,
00:09Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth stepped in and reversed the decision.

00:24On Tuesday, an Army spokesperson said the cruise had been suspended from flight duties while officials reviewed what happened.
00:32The questions, why were they near the property?
00:34And why were they also flying close to a No Kings rally while on a training mission?
00:39Each helicopter carries a two-person crew, a pilot and a co-pilot known as a gunner.
00:44But within hours, Hegseth stepped in.
00:47In a post on X, he wrote,
00:56Kid Rock told a Nashville TV station he didn't expect the flyby but said he's had interactions with military pilots
01:03before and called it pretty cool.
01:05He also referred to President Trump as my buddy, the commander-in-chief.
