Fantasy Fight: Felix Trinidad vs Terry Norris đŸ„Š

Felix Trinidad and Terry Norris shared a lot of the same qualities, both were exceptional technicians with devastating power and great speed but both also occasionally had defensive lapses and didn't have the best punch resistance. This fight actually could have happened and was discussed but sadly it never came to fruition leaving us to wonder what could have been. Tito was a dominant Welterweight champion who also had success during his shorter tenures at both 154 lbs and Middleweight while Norris was a career Super Welterweight. Who do you think would win and why?

Felix Trinidad - Is a Puerto Rican former professional boxer who competed from 1990 to 2008. He held multiple world championships in three weight classes and is considered to be one of the greatest Puerto Rican boxers of all time. After winning five national amateur championships in Puerto Rico, Trinidad debuted as a professional when he was seventeen, and won his first world championship by defeating Maurice Blocker to win the IBF welterweight title in 1993, a title he would hold for almost seven years with fifteen defenses. As his career continued, he defeated Oscar De La Hoya to win the WBC and lineal welterweight titles in 1999; Fernando Vargas to win the unified WBA and IBF light middleweight titles in 2000; and William Joppy for the WBA middleweight title in 2001. Trinidad is frequently mentioned among the best Puerto Rican boxers of all time by sports journalists and analysts, along with Juan Laporte, Esteban De JesĂșs, Wilfredo VĂĄzquez, Miguel Cotto, Wilfred BenĂtez, Wilfredo GĂłmez, HĂ©ctor Camacho, Edwin Rosario and Carlos OrtĂz.

Terry Norris - Is an American former professional boxer who competed from 1986 to 1998. He is a three time light middleweight world champion, having held the World Boxing Council (WBC) and International Boxing Federation (IBF) world titles. Norris traveled to Tampa, Florida, in March 1990 to challenge John Mugabi for the WBC light-middleweight world title. Norris wasted no time in stopping the champion, flooring him twice in the first round - the second time for the full count - and thus starting what would be the first of three reigns as a world boxing champion. In both of his reigns combined at 154 lbs, Norris defended his titles a staggering 17 times cementing his place as one of the all time greats in the weight class. He retired with a professional record of 47-9 (31 KO's).
