00:00France is getting on Donald Trump's nerves.
00:03This time he has accused the U.S. ally of not sharing its airspace.
00:07The country of France wouldn't let planes headed to Israel loaded with military supplies fly over French territory.
00:14France has been very unhelpful with respect to the butcher of Iran, who has been successfully eliminated.
00:21The USA will remember.
00:23However, the U.S. president's social media post came as a surprise to France.
00:28President Emmanuel Macron's office assured Tuesday that it had not changed its position on U.S. military overflights,
00:35namely that it does not allow aircraft used for military purposes to use its airspace to reach Israel.
00:42It comes, however, a day after Spain decided to reject all flights involved in actions related to the operations in
00:49Iran,
00:49with President Pedro Sanchez saying he did not want his country to take part in what he called illegal wars.
00:56And as Italy recently refused to allow U.S. fighter jets engage with the war in the Middle East to
01:02land at its Siganella base in Sicily.
01:05The pushback from U.S. allies and NATO members has Washington clearly riled.
01:11When we ask for additional assistance or simple access basing and overflight, we get questions or roadblocks or hesitations.
01:20And the president's pointing out you don't have much of an alliance if you have countries that are not willing
01:26to stand with you when you need them.
01:28Trump also singled out the United Kingdom on Tuesday as one of the countries he said would have to start
01:33learning to fight for itself,
01:34as he once again vented frustration at U.S. allies that are reluctant to get involved in a war,
01:40which he started without their consultation.
