00:00and it also sounds like a beast from hell hey how's it going guitar world this is oliver from
00:08death by audio and a place of very strangers i'm here to show you one of my guitars this is
00:13a
00:14fender jaguar has been smashed and broken a ton of times and glued back together it was originally
00:21you can see like a seafoam green or something and i spray painted it black the neck has long been
00:29broken this is some other fender neck from another guitar some oddball tuning pegs and uh you can see
00:37it's got one of these pickups that i've screwed in here it's like uh one of these kind of tone
00:42of god
00:42pickups that they used to sell on ebay for really cheap they just sound really cool there's a bunch
00:48of other pickups i use lipstick pickups are the way to go you can see it's still grounded with the
00:54ground shield right here the real kind of gem of this guitar is that it has this effect that i
00:59built screwed on the side of it this is a envelope controlled modulating delay and you can control
01:06like the depth of the envelope the speed of how fast it envelopes right here i'd always sort of
01:12wanted to do this stuff but it's so sort of like processor intensive or running like two cords back
01:18and forth from a pedal board but now since the invention of usbc rechargeable nine volt batteries
01:24this bad boy has got a hole drilled in the side and you can just recharge it back up with
01:30usbc
01:31and then you're good to go yeah it turns on when you plug in the output you can see to
01:37this and then
01:38there you go the little light comes on and when you turn it off and bypass it bypasses the battery
01:44as
01:44well these jaguars a lot of people kind of complain that they're like oh he smashes his guitar and he
01:51messes it all up but i'm just kind of beating it into what it is today and that's a guitar
01:57that i don't
01:58care about if it gets messed up so you can feel free to dive into the crowd or get a
02:04little bit nuts
02:05and throw it into the air and it also sounds like a beast from hell thank you fender thank you
02:12guitar world
