00:00The Department of Homeland Security says, quote, most of the nation's TSA agents got two paychecks
00:05on Monday. However, a small number of agents might see a slight delay for any number of reasons,
00:10processing times, direct deposit issues, etc. Now, when will travelers see shorter airport
00:16security lines? Not right away. At least 500 agents quit during the shutdown, which is still
00:22going on, by the way. Remember, President Trump managed after a month and a half to get the
00:26agents paid with money from the big, beautiful bill, while Congress continues to do nothing to
00:31end the shutdown itself. Here's what White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt said about airports
00:36returning to normal. Nothing will be truly normal again until Democrats do the right thing to fund
00:41this agency fully. Again, the president has stepped in in the meantime to do what's right to end this
00:46crisis that we've had at air travel and at airports across the country in the meantime. But again,
00:52Congress needs to come back. Democrats need to fund the Department of Homeland Security
00:56so we can formally and fully get these great employees paid long into the future.
