00:00Yeah, good to still be playing basketball.
00:05Excited about the opportunity to go up to Indy and
00:09play against another quality opponent on ESPN.
00:12And just would rather be doing this than sitting around doing nothing.
00:17So obviously a little bit of a wait to get to Thursday night.
00:25But it's been good for our guys to get their legs back and
00:30take a couple days off and we'll get back at it today.
00:34Playing an Illinois State team that if you look at the resumes of teams in the NIT,
00:38they by far have the best one as far as the teams that they've beaten.
00:4320 point victory over Kent State and
00:45then to go on the road and get back to back quad one wins against Wake Forest and
00:49Dayton, had Dayton down 20 in a sold out venue.
00:53It just speaks to the level that they're playing at right now.
00:58They're really good defensively, play hard, try and
01:02make things difficult for you.
01:03They're very physical, they do a great job of limiting you to one shot.
01:08And offensively they got guys that can really shoot it.
01:10And Chase Walker is an absolute handful underneath.
01:14So they have really good pieces and
01:18they're playing their best basketball right now.
01:19So going to be another great test for our guys, which will prove to kind of be a road game.
01:25Because I want to say that they're like two hours away from Indy.
01:29So really cool that we get to play in Hinkle Fieldhouse.
01:33Our guys have no idea what Hinkle Fieldhouse is.
01:36But, you know, we obviously, some of us older folks have a real appreciation and understanding.
01:43You know, I grew up in Evansville, Indiana, lived there for nine years when we were at Southern Indiana.
01:48So have a great appreciation for that state and their love for basketball at all different levels.
01:56So really cool that all the different championships are going to be in one city.
02:01The place is going to be chaos, but really glad that we get to be a part of it.
