00:00Yeah, I mean, I'm here to coach basketball.
00:03The guys on my roster are here to play basketball and we're all here to compete.
00:08And I'm not gonna duck away from an opportunity to go out there and
00:13prepare and compete and play basketball cuz that's what we're here to do.
00:17I'm not gonna take my ball and go home because we didn't make the tournament.
00:20So I just see it as an unbelievable opportunity for
00:23our guys to go out there and just compete on a stage.
00:29Most of our games will probably be on the ESPN.
00:33And there's a lot of people in college basketball that would love to be able to do that.
00:38And obviously our goal is to not play in the NIT.
00:42Our goal is playing the NCAA tournament, advance the NCAA tournament.
00:45But that didn't happen this year.
00:47And we have an opportunity to go play in a tournament that's nationally televised.
00:56And continue to play basketball for these next few weeks if we're able to advance.
01:01So I'm of the mindset of let's just go play, let's go hoop and have some fun with it.
01:08So that's ultimately why I made the decision for us to play in the NIT.
01:14All right, busy day tomorrow in Auburn, first day of spring football.
01:19And Auburn baseball, top five showdown at 4 p.m.
01:25So we would encourage fans to go check out baseball first, help get them a win.
01:32And then show up for another late one for the Tigers tomorrow night at 9 in Neville.
01:38So without taking questions.
